Straight up to 300 feet and then back down. Hand launch and retrieve. Tricky navigation during landing, close to small tree branches, was handled expertly by the collision avoidance.

This cool bull statue is in front of a building. I tried to fly a sweeping turn through the two horns and almost made it. The front left prop contacted the bull's horn and knocked the bird out of the sky. No damage to the body. Replaced 1 set of propellers. All good.

Right after thanksgiving 2016 took Yankee Clipper out on a cruise to get familiar with sailing the 46 Fisher in preparation for sailing her to Texas. A huge boat show had recently concluded in Florida and the canals were littered with flagships from Microsoft and other corporate giants.

Mike the surveyor was hoisted up the mast of Yankee Clipper during the official survey for sale. We used the electric windlass to make quick work of hoisting Mike. The survey was good and the Yankee Clipper was purchased in Florida and sailed to Texas.

2019 fireworks at Kemah Texas boardwalk. We anchored just out of the channel and saw the fireworks from Kemah Boardwalk and neighboring cities like Nassau Bay and Clear Lake Shores.

We were going to trade beers. The first pass was unsatisfying with a fumbled beer. So we decided the boat captain would bring the beer over. Things got a little hairy but no casualties.

Did a circle over a friends boat. Followed a boat around and put the camera on time lapse taking pics every 2 seconds. Stitched together video and pictures. The long shadows from the sailboat masts are cool looking.

Flew to my friends boat and tried the circle shot from the DJI Fly app. Very easy to set up and execute.

We arrived at key west after midnight. Found a spot out of the channel next to Wisteria island and dropped anchor. This video is waking up next morning to go ashore to eat and get provisions before heading over to the marquesa keys and on to Dry Tortuga and across the gulf of Mexico to Texas. Trip took 10 days. Totally awesome sail. Averaged 8.2 knots for the trip which is a little better than hull speed of the 46 Fisher.

Haven't swung a club in over a year. Went to Top Golf with a group and had a blast. Swing is still functional off a tee. Hitting off mother earth would not go as well.

Topwater Grill is a nice restaurant located on galveston bay. The food is excellent and the view is awesome. Launched the drone from the parking lot and a grain of sand got into the camera gimbal and caused the jitter. If your mavic mini is giving a gimbal error FOD may be the problem. I manipulated the gimbal through full range of motion while using pressurized air to blow out the dust. When flying in a dusty environment I suggest hand launch and hand land your drone to avoid getting close to the dusty surface and ingesting dust into the camera gimbal mechanism or the motors.

Fireworks went on for hours bringing in 2021 with a bang.
