While the Liberals scramble to repair some of the damage Trudeau has done to the party - in time to at least maintain some seats in the election. Nobody is talking about policy changes - only personality changes. And the one they're talking about is about as palatable as 3 week expired gas station sushi. So no one is biting. Trudeau really is done - and the fact he remains in office is a frustration to all of us. The bad budget may be enough to seal his fate - the carbon tax, the eco extremism, the scandal plagued history of his reign, the corruption, the malfeasance, and the outright dodgy nature of the Chinese interference scandal. Throw in some tyranny and over reach and what we have is the worst prime minister this country has ever had to endure. And no matter who follows him - he is such a stain on Canadian history that it will takes generations for the party to wash itself clean of the publics perception of them. All thanks to his abject failure of leadership, intelligence, and competence.. But again .... that's just my opinion. Trudeau has got to go - and he needs to take the rest of the globalist liberals with him. The list of things wrong is too long to go into - so we're just scratching the surface. The fear of being lied to is understandable as the political class will always prioritize itself. While Poilievre crushes Trudeau in the polls and is all set to be the next Prime Minister of Canada. Politicians are famed for saying anything to get elected, and doing none of it. It's become a pattern. Promises made to get the job - like lying in an interview and then being the worst employee possible and making life a misery for everyone else who works there. A lot of people have placed a lot of hope in Poilievre. He's even getting my vote. But we are in a place in Canada where so much hope has been placed there, it makes me genuinely fear the response if they are disappointed. And this stresses the importance of supporting positions - policies -outcomes, and not so much the mouth they come out of. we can all say anything, and i will stand and support what you say what you want to do but do not mistake that for unconditional support for you. If the outcomes are counter to the promises, people will not stick around for long. And around we go - moving from person to person and waiting for the one that won't disappoint. Hell of a system. But again, that's just my opinion. The failed globalist experiment has left a trail of misery, poverty and despair in it's wake and people have just about had enough. All over the world there is a conservative renaissance happening, and all of a sudden, all conservatives have become "far-right" as far as the mainstream goes. which isn't the mainstream at all. it does not represent the majority opinion, and has shot itself in the foot with one lie too many for us to even take them seriously anymore. "the people" reject globalism, and it turns out - they quite like their own sovereignty and traditions and aren't as willing to part with them as the left thinks they should be. And the people are winning. But that's just my opinion. Meanwhile the people of Alberta have more sense that she gives them credit for and continue to soundly reject her and all that she stands for. So much so the party may have to change it's name to get rid of the bad smell.
