There is such a thing as GOOD codependency and GOOD addiction. It is ok to need to say, "I can't live without him", "I need him", "I'm not whole without him". I am PROUD to say that I have been in a codependent relationship for almost 18 years and because of it I am a better person now than I ever would have been without him. Allowing children to choose their gender at a tender, young age is out of control. As parents it is your job to guide AND protect your children from harm. At 8 years old they can like cheese one day and hate it the next. At 10 years old they don't even know what they want to be when they grow up. And still parents are allowing them to make decisions that are irreversible. These choices aren't as simple as a new haircut, or trying a new sport, they change their lives forever! A recent teenage suicide recently shook the community we live in. Every sign, but no intervention. It was an unnecessary death. A child who thought that the only way to avoid daily fear was death. I am absolutely shocked by the number of parents, mothers and fathers, who fear the retaliation of their children if they tell them, "NO". I blame society, I blame the breakup of the nuclear family, I blame pc behavior, but just because this is what our society has melted down to it doesn't mean that it needs to stay that way.
