JOSHUA ARDEN MILLER: 'Something You Got', Port Credit Street Shuffle, Toronto, Canada 2022
JOSHUA ARDEN MILLER is a long time member of the 6-time CAMA Award winning & JUNO nominated PAPPY JOHNS BAND. He's performed his brand of Rockin' Blues Soul everywhere from the gritty honkytonks of the American south to large major music festivals everywhere.
Always a treat to hear this dynamic and soulful performer on any stage, with any band and regarded by his peers as 'The Real Deal' and 'the Last of the Old School'...the late great Jimmy Rogers called him "The Soul King"... Josh provides an electrifying mix of Blues, Rock & Soul that solidifies his reputation as a Bad-ass Blues Man.
Onondaga from Six Nations of the Grand River, Josh Miller is a hard working Blues musician with a lengthy list of shows, recordings and awards accumulated throughout the 30 years of his musical career.
Joshua Arden Miller's band features Oren Doxtator on drums...who has been the regular drummer for the Pappy Johns Band for over 50 years... Blaine Bomberry on guitar/backing vocals and Alan Duffy on bass.
This festival one of two 'must-attend' music festivals in Toronto each year. The Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival is always a cause for celebration amongst music lovers around the world. “When we started there were four bands -- Downchild, Fathead, Jack de Keyzer, and Jake & The Blue Midnights. We didn’t even have a liquor license. I think we might have seen 2,300 people on the two days,” recalls Chuck Jackson, of the world-renown Downchild Blues Band: “Now we have close to 150 bands. And over the last 20 years, we’ve employed probably 2,000 bands and 10,000 musicians.” The music in Memorial Park has grown to encompass four different stages – the two ticketed Main Stages, and two free stages featuring continuous entertainment throughout the festival. Other perennial favourites include the “Junior Jam”, the “Harps For Kids” workshop and the annual Beggars Blues Banquet offering a sneak preview of the performers on the Thursday night before the start of the Shuffle.

Violinist STUNS Bangkok Street with "Radioactive" Looping Cover
ROB LANDES is an award-winning violinist who started playing the violin at 3 years in Orem, Utah. Born to a large musical family, Rob gave his first solo recital at 10 years old, performed in the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on the Disney Channel with the Disney Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra, and founded a piano trio that performed actively throughout his teenage years. Rob has won first prize at numerous music competitions and has soloed with the Utah Symphony, Utah Valley Symphony, San Diego Chamber Orchestra, BYU Philharmonic, and BYU Chamber Orchestra. As a first violinist of the BYU Chamber Orchestra, Rob performed in more than twenty cities throughout central and southern Europe, and as concertmaster of the orchestra, gave a concert to a sold-out audience in New York’s Carnegie Hall. Rob was awarded full scholarships to attend Brigham Young University and Rice University where he earned a Bachelor’s in Music and Master’s in Music, respectively. While studying at Rice, Rob began covering rock and pop music, and upon returning to Salt Lake City after graduation, began playing with a looper pedal which he uses to create intricate and stunning arrangements of today and yesterday’s most popular music. Rob recently won the award for "Best Instrumental" at the Utah Music Awards for his rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah".
