Today I'm back in Bede, Manitoba, Canada with farmer Marty Voth. He walks me through the different ways his John Deere baler uses twine and wrap to secure hay bales. Marty introduces me to his Massey Ferguson Combine, the benefits of older machinery for smaller farming, some moisture testing for his freshly harvested oats with the 1955 Labtronic testing apparatus, and a final farm conversation about his bearded wheat field.

Today we are out and about with Farmer John on his land, where he shares his prized 1952 Farmall Tractor. The Farmall name was usually presented as McCormick-Deering Farmall in its era. Bullet proof and ready to work, this tractor pulls a 6 foot heritage plow to make the 40 acre field black.
