BMCC G Ysaia Marte 2022-2023 Freshman Season Highlights
Ysaia Marte has been the Panther's most consistent player during the 2023 portion of the schedule, with 13 double-figure games in his last 14 games and scored in double figures in 11 of the Panther's 12 games in the second half of the season. He has made an impact from the moment he stepped on campus as he leads the Panthers in total points with 273 points, a team-best 16 double-figure games, four 20-point scoring performances and 111 field goals made, and 234 field goals attempted. The Bronx, New York native is also second in scoring average at 11.9 points per game.
The four-time CUNYAC Rookie of the Week, including a back-to-back winner on December 19 and 27, also leads the Panthers defensively with 51 steals with a career-best five steals twice against Bronx Community College and Hostos Community College. Marte is also third in free throws made (41) and free throws attempted (58), and assists (35) while recording a career-high 23 points twice this season against Queensborough Community College on January 31, 2023, and Hostos Community College on February 7, 2023.

BMCC G Danny Laffitte 2022-2023 Freshman Season Highlights
Danny Laffitte has had an excellent start to his career at BMCC, ranking second on the team in three-pointers made (19) and three-pointers attempted (76) while also ranking third in scoring (225), scoring average (11.8), rebounds (122), rebounding average (6.4), field goals made (86), field goals attempted (198). In addition, the New York, New York native scored in double figures 13 times this season to go along with two double-doubles.
The two-time CUNYAC Rookie of the Week dropped a career-high 23 points against Hostos Community College on December 8, 2022, during the Panther's five-game win streak to close out 2022. Laffitte also hauled down a career-high 17 rebounds against Bronx Community College on February 9, 2023.

The fourth-seeded Queensborough Community College men's basketball team suffered a mild upset on Wednesday evening when they were defeated by the fifth-seeded Caimans of Hostos Community College by a score of 78-67 in the Region XV Tournament Quarterfinals.
Hostos Community College was led by #5 Marquise Paulin with 20 Points, Jason Pichareo with 17 Points, and Randolph Charles with 15 Points.
The Tigers were led by sophomore #23 Preston Harts, who in his final game for Queensborough, recorded a double-double with a team-high 19 points to go along with 12 rebounds and four assists. Also in double figures were freshman #24 Anthony Walters with 15 points and eight rebounds, as well as sophomore #1 Stephon Flores who added 10 points in his final career game as a Tiger.

In the Region 15 Semi-Final Matchup between Dutchess and Monroe College – Bronx, the Falcons came away with a 74-55 win.
#11 Jeremiah Williams finished everything around the rim and led the team with 22 points while Jacob Barnett put up 15 of his own. From 3-point land, Nashuan Johnson was the leader and knocked down 3 three-pointers to finish with 11 points. Raesean Greer orchestrated the offense throughout while not missing a shot and scoring 10 points of his own.
