Joey has a hard time lowering to a seated position. When a napping or lounging Joey needs to change position, he pivots with his rear end rather than getting up on all fours. His hind legs are barely used. The pivoting reminds me of animals dragging their paralysed rear end. Could it be Polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR); chronic abdominal inflammation or maybe Arthritis (despite the injections)?

A grey powder that looks like it may have formed a crust on a Lorikeet pair.

Things are getting out of hand.

Nearly 8 am and Joey is reluctant to wake up and come for a walk before breakfast. I often carry Joey to the corner of West and White Streets (as he is still half asleep) before he starts squirming to be released.

I only caught the tail end of five minutes of this snorting. Sounds like Joey has something stuck in the nasal cavity, but how? The snorting started after Joey finished his dental chew. Are particles accidentally ending up in Joey’s wind pipe?
