Joel Anthony Crothers was a television and stage actor mostly known for his work on soaps. He was on 5 soap operas total: Dark Shadows, The Secret Storm, Somerset, Edge of Night, and Santa Barbara. He also did theater work and occasionally would moonlight as a lounge singer. The song he sings in this video "Planes" was recorded in 1983 for the album "Love In The Afternoon" which featured classics sung by various soap opera stars including Susan Lucci.
