This cake is buttery with a perfectly sweet and sour taste! Yum! It's absolutely delicious! Honestly, I made 4 cakes trying various ingredients and didn't want to share any of them. If you like a less sweet version, reduce the brown sugar in the caramel base. You will definitely love this cake y'all!
Pineapple Upside Down Cake Recipe from Scratch | EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES
INGREDIENTS:
CARAMEL BASE:
• 1/4 cup (60g) UNSALTED BUTTER
• 1/2 cup (90g) BROWN SUGAR
• 2 tbsp (14.5g) LEMON JUICE
• 5-6 slices or 1/2 of PINEAPPLE (cut into 1 cm thick)
CAKE BATTER:
• 1/3 cup (80ml) MILK
• 1 tsp (5g) LEMON JUICE
• 3/4 cup (105g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
• 1/2 tsp (2g) BAKING POWDER
• 1/4 tsp BAKING SODA
• 1/8 tsp SALT
• 2 EGGS
• 1/4 cup (50g) SUGAR
• 3 tbsp (30g) OIL
• 1/2 tsp (2g) VANILLA EXTRACT
HOW TO:
1. Cook butter and brown sugar until bubbly or microwave for about 1 minute. Whisk until sugar melts then add lemon juice. Whisk to combine
2. Lined pot/pan with parchment paper and pour sugar base into pot; tilting to distribute the sugar mixture all around
3. Layer the pineapple slices or pieces in single layer; however you like. Set it a side. IMPORTANT: Make sure your pineapple is sweet and tasty. . If using canned pineapples, drain the juice by dabbing with paper towels or letting it drain overnight. If you do not drain properly, your cake will be wet and dense
4. In a large mixing bowl, mix milk and lemon juice then set a side for 10-15 minutes
5. In separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt then whisk to combine
6. After 10-15 minutes, milk should have curdle or thicken. Add eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla extract. Whisk until sugar has dissolved
7. Add flour mixture and whisk until smooth, about 1 minute
8. Pour on top of pineapple slices, tapping pot down a few times to evenly distribute the batter
9. Cover with paper towel to catch condensation and bake for 2 bake cycles (1 hour) then check. Rice cookers varied so bake another cycle if needed
10. Cool for 5-10 minutes and turn it upside down onto a serving plate. Cool for another 10-15 minutes before cutting
OVEN BAKING:
Bake in greased and lined pan in pre-heated oven of 350F (175C) for 20-30 minutes. Ovens varies so check around 25 minutes. Bake longer if needed.

I am bananas for this banana cinnamon rolls! It's super delicious and well worth the time to make it. Plus you can make it vegan by using vegan ingredients or if you are not vegan, just use regular ingredients. Rice cooker bakers, please check the IMPORTANT NOTE in the instructions!
Banana Cinnamon Rolls Recipe | No Egg | Vegan Option | EASY PRESSURE COOKER RECIPES
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 tbsp (30g) UNSALTED BUTTER/MARGARINE
• 3/4 cup (180ml) MILK
• 1 1/2 tsp (3g) INSTANT YEAST
• 1 tbsp (10g) BROWN SUGAR
• 1/8 tsp SALT
• 1/2 cup (135g) MASHED BANANAS (1 to 2 bananas)
• 2 2/3 cup (360g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
FILLING:
• 4 tbsp (60g) BUTTER/MARGARINE (room temp)
• 1/2 cup (90g) BROWN SUGAR
• 2 tsp (6g) GROUND CINNAMON
• 1/2 cup (60g) CHOPPED PECANS/WALNUTS
• 2-3 THINLY SLICED BANANAS
GLAZE:
• 1 cup (100g) POWDERED SUGAR (icing sugar)
• 2 tbsp (30g) BUTTER/MARGARINE (melted/room temp)
• 2 tbsp (30g) MILK
NOTES & SUBSTITUTIONS:
• If using fresh banana filling, thinly slice them and eat rolls the same day. The fresh bananas will turn the rolls soggy and spoil like if not eaten within the same day
• Vegans can use unbleached all purpose flour, vegan margarine, almond milk and cane sugar
• Filling substitution can be raisins, cranberries, chocolate chips, chopped pecans
HOW TO:
1. Put butter/margarine and milk in a microwave safe dish and microwave for 1 minute. Or cook over stove top until butter begins to melt, then remove from heat. Milk should not be hot or boiling but warmer than bath water; around 110F (43C)
2. Sprinkle the yeast into the milk then whisk, cover and let it sit for 10-20 minutes
3. Add the sugar and salt to yeast mixture and whisk. Add mashed bananas and whisk to combined
4. Add half of the flour then mix. Add the rest of the flour and use your hand to knead the dough for about one minute, making sure to get all the dry flour is incorporated
RICE COOKER BAKER NOTE: If baking in the oven, continue with all the dough. If baking in the rice cooker, divide the dough in half. Rice cooker should bake in two separate batches as it's too much for one baking. Tightly wrap the other half and store it in the refrigerator or cooler for a second bake
5. Shape dough into a ball and place in a buttered or oil bowl. Tightly cover and proof in warm area for about 60-90 minutes or until doubled in size.
6. Transfer to a floured surface and flatten dough into a long rectangle shape, about 1/4 in (1 cm) thick
7. For the filling (rice cooker baker should only use half of the filling), spread soft butter/margarine on the dough. Combined sugar and cinnamon then sprinkle all over the dough. Sprinkle the nuts and layer thinly sliced bananas (or other dried fruits or nuts)
8. Start from short end, slowly and carefully roll the dough tightly into a thick log; pull the end to seal. Stretch and shape the roll to be more evenly shaped log
9. Cut dough into 3 or 4 rolls for rice cooker baking and 8-10 rolls for oven pan baking. Place in lined pot/pan
10. Brush with soft butter/margarine, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sugar mixture and chopped nuts. Cover tightly and let it proof for 30-50 minutes in a warm area. Dough should doubled in size
11. Bake for 2 bake cycles (1 hr) and check. Bake longer if needed. Mine was done in 2 bake cycles
12. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes then remove from pot/pan
13. Mix together glaze ingredients and spoon over the top. Enjoy them warm!
OVEN BAKING:
Bake in lined pan in pre-heated oven of 350F (175C) for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

I want to bake an Ube cake but I cannot get my hands on any ube extract or ube flavoring. So I improvised using this purple sweet potato powder along with pandan flavor extract and it turned out surprising good. The cake is moist and and soft. Enjoy it with just some powdered sugar dusting or frost with this butter cream frosting. Oh yummilicious!
EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: Purple Sweet Potato Cake Recipe | Rice Cooker Baking
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 cup (140g) CAKE FLOUR
• 1 tsp (4g) BAKING POWDER
• 1/4 cup (35g) PURPLE SWEET POTATO POWDER
• 1/2 cup (115g) UNSALTED BUTTER (room temp)
• 1/2 tsp (3g) FINE SALT
• 1/2 cup (100g) FINE SUGAR (caster sugar)
• 1 tsp (4g) PANDAN FLAVOR EXTRACT (or vanilla/ube)
• 1 tsp (4g) VIOLET FOOD COLOR
• 2 EGGS
• 3/4 cup (185ml) COCONUT MILK
TOPPING/FROSTING:
• 1 tbsp (8g) POWDERED SUGAR (icing sugar)
• OR
• 1/2 cup (115g) UNSALTED BUTTER (room temp)
• 1/2 cup (40g) POWDERED SUGAR (icing sugar)
• 1 tsp (4g) PURPLE SWEET POTATO POWDER
• 1/4 tsp VIOLET FOOD COLOR
• 1/4 tsp VANILLA EXTRACT
HOW TO:
1. Sift flour, baking powder and purple sweet potato powder and whisk to combined
2. Cream butter until smooth then add salt and half of the sugar. Beat for 30 seconds then add all the sugar and beat for 30 seconds, or until smooth and creamy
3. Beat in one egg at a time, about 1 minute between each egg
4. Add pandan extract and food color and mix to combined
5. Add the flour mixture and coconut milk in thirds; mixing to incorporate but do not overmix. NOTE: if you like drier cakes, use 1/2 cup (125ml) of milk instead of 3/4 cup
6. Lined pot/pan with parchment paper and distribute batter evenly
7. Bake for 3 Bake Cycles (1 hr 30 min). Rice cooker varies so check after second bake and bake longer if needed
8. If frosting, cool completely, about 2 hours
9. For frosting, beat butter until creamy then add the rest of the ingredients. Mix until incorporated. Frost however you like. NOTE: My video actually shows doubled the frosting but it was way too much as I had left over. So the recipe amounts in the video and written above is half of what's in my video
OVEN BAKING:
• Grease a pan then lined with parchment paper and floured the pan, tapping out excess
• Bake in pre-heated oven of 350F (175C) for 30-45 minutes. Ovens varied so check around 30 minutes and bake longer if needed

Today's recipe could be a two in ONE! You can make it with the filling for Spanish Bread or skip the filling completely and make Pandesal! Or, do BOTH! Whatever you are craving. It's all right here. Soft and delicious!
Spanish Bread Recipe Filipino | Rice Cooker Baking | EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 cup (250ml) WARM MILK
• 1/4 cup (50g) BROWN SUGAR
• 2 tsp (6g) INSTANST YEAST
• 3 cups (420g) BREAD FLOUR
• 1 tsp (6g) FINE SALT
• 1 EGG (beaten)
• 1/4 cup (62g) UNSALTED BUTTER (room temp)
FILLING:
• 1/4 cup (50g) BROWN SUGAR
• 1/3 cup (25g) BREADCRUMBS
• 1/4 cup (62g) UNSALTED BUTTER (room temp)
• 1 tsp (6.5g) SWEENTENED CONDENSED MILK (or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract)
CRUMB COATING:
• 1/4 cup (20g) BREADCRUMBS
• 1/4 cup (25g) DESICCATED COCONUT (ground coconut flakes)
• 2 tbsp (20g) BROWN SUGAR
• 1 tbsp (15g) UNSALTED BUTTER (room temp)
HOW TO:
1. Warm milk (in microwave or stove top) then add sugar and stir until almost dissolved. Add instant yeast and stir then let it sit for 10-15 minutes
2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt, then mix to combined. Prepare the rest of the dough ingredients but do not add them yet. Just set them aside
3. Add all the filling ingredients into a bowl and mix until well combinged
4. Add all the crumb coating into a bowl and mix, using your hand to incorporate the butter into the crumbs and set that aside
5. By this time, 10-15 minutes should have passed. Your yeast mixture should be bubbly, if it's good yeast. If NOT, do not proceed, as your yeast is bad and the bread will not develop
6. Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture and add the butter, egg and slowly pour in the milk mixture as you stir (with a strong spoon/spatula or your hand). Mix until almost all the white flour are gone
7. On a flat surface, spread a few drops of oil and move your dough onto the flat surface. Knead with the palm of your hand for 8-10 minutes, until the dough is stretchy. Also, noticed how soft my dough is
IMPORTANT: If your dough is too tough or dry as you knead, add 1 tablespoon of milk at a time to get the right texture. Dryer dough means tougher bread. Also, if you are baking in your rice cooker, this dough recipe is too much for one rice cooker bake. I borrowed my in-laws rice cooker for this video. But if you only have one rice cooker... after kneading, divide your dough in half. Wrap one half tightly in plastic wrap, ziplock bag or container and put it in the refridgerator or cooler, for a second bake. Cooling it will stop the yeast from developing
8. Oil a bowl and place in your dough. Cover it tightly and let it proof (rise) in a warm area for 60 minutes. Dough should doubled in size
9. After proofing, release the gas in the dough and shape your dough into a log or round pancake like shape, then cut equal smaller pieces. For my rice cooker, it can fit 7 long shape and 7 round shape. So, the number of pieces depends on your baking pot or pan
10. Use your hands or a roller pin and flatten each piece. The spread some filling on it, leaving the edges clean. Roll into croissant like shape or a ball. Seal the edge by pressing the dough together
11. Brush the bread with some milk and dunk it into the crumb coating; making sure to get a good coat on
12. Place in your lined pot or pan (lined with aluminun foil and parchment paper). Cover tigthly and proof for 40-50 minutes
13. Be sure to place a paper towel on top to catch condensation and bake for 2 Bake Cycles (1 hour).
14. Let it sit on warm with the lid open to dry out any moisture. Then cool for another 10 minutes and ENJOY! Love it when it's warm.
OVEN BAKING:
Bake in lined pan, in a pre-heat oven of 350F (175C) for 10-25 minutes. If the top is getting too brown, put a sheet of foil paper on top, half way between baking. Ovens varied so check around 20 minutes.

This was another perfect sponge or chiffon cake. I love how soft, moist and light it was. My tea did not steep well so it was not as strong as I would like it to be. If you have a stronger tea mix, your color may be slighter darker. It should still be very good. This cake is lightly sweentened. If you want it sweeter? Add 2 tablespoons of sugar into the yolk batter. You will love this one!
Thai Tea Chiffon Cake Recipe | How To Make Soft Moist Light Sponge Cake | RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES
INGREDIENTS:
Tea Mix:
• 4 tbsp (28g) THAI TEA LEAVES
• 1 cup (250ml) HOT BOILING WATER
• 6 tbsp (100ml) HOT TEA
• 3 tbsp (40g) SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
Batter:
• 4 EGG WHITES
• 4 EGG YOLKS
• 3 tbsp (45g) OIL
• 1/4 tsp SALT
• 1/4 cup (65g/60ml) THAI TEA MIX
• 1/2 cup (70g) CAKE FLOUR
• 4 EGG WHITES
• 1/2 tsp LEMON JUICE
• 1/4 cup (50g) SUGAR
HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. In a tea kettle or glass, add tea leaves and hot boiling water and let it steep for about 5 minutes. You can make more tea mix for drinking but we just need 1/4 cup (4 tbsp or 65g) of tea mix with the sweetened condensed milk
2. Separate 4 eggs into two separate mixing bowl
3. In the egg yolks, add oil, salt and mix to combined. Then add the 1/4 cup of tea mix and whisk to incorporate
4. Sift in the flour and whisk slowly until smooth
5. Beat the egg whites for 30 seconds then add the lemon juice. Beat for another 30 seconds then add the sugar in thirds; beating about 30 seconds in between each add. Beat until you get a stiff peak, usually around 4-5 minutes
6. NOTE: This is the most important step in making this cake. Go slowly to prevent bubbles. Add 1/3 of the whipped egg white into the yolk batter and slowly mix in one direction, using a whisk or spatula, for about 1 minute. Then pour the yolk batter into the whipped egg whites and slowly fold with a spatula in one direction. Be sure to scrape the sides and bottom and cutting through the middle; until most of the white streaks are gone. It took another 2 minutes and 30 seconds
7. Lined your pot or pan but do not grease it. Slowly pour in the batter to eliminate any bubbles. Smooth out the top. Tap it a few times to bring any bubbles to the surface. Pop any visible bubbles with spatula or toothpick
8. Cover with a paper towel to catch condensation before closing. Bake in the rice cooker for 2 bake cycles (60 minute) then check. Mine was done with 2 bake but rice cooker varies so bake longer as needed
9. Cool your cake upside-down on a rack (supposedly to prevent it from deflating... but mine deflated a bit still). Cool for 30 minutes or more
10. Use a spatula to loosen the sides then flip it upside-down. If your cake does not fall out, use your hand and gently lift the cake off the bottom all around the sides. Now just enjoy!
OVEN BAKING:
Bake in a pre-heated oven of 350F (175C) with hot water tray below the cake rack. It's basically a water bath but with the water tray below the rack of the cake pan. This will prevent water from getting into your cake but still provide the moisture needed. Bake for 30-45 minutes. Ovens varied so check around 35 minutes and bake longer as needed

This recipe is delicious and super easy with no fuss preparation. The hardest part is making the crust! I tested layered crust and other store bought dough and it did not work well in the rice cooker; as it puffs up during baking. So, this crust is really easy and stays flat during baking.
EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: Egg Tart Recipe Without Oven | Egg Custard Pie | Rice Cooker Baking
INGREDIENTS:
CRUST:
• 3/4 cup (105g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
• 1/8 tsp SALT
• 1 tbsp (7g) POWDERED SUGAR (icing sugar)
• 1/4 cup (62g) UNSALTED BUTTER
• 1/4 tsp VANILLA EXTRACT
• 1 tbsp (15g) MILK
FILLING:
• 2 WHOLE EGGS (see notes)
• 2 EGG YOLKS (see notes)
• 4 tbsp (50g) SUGAR
• 1/3 cup (80ml) MILK (see notes)
• 1/3 cup (80ml) WHIPPING CREAM
• 1/2 tsp (2g) VANILLA EXTRACT
• 1/8 tsp CINNAMON (optional topping
NOTES:
If you like your custard more soft and not too firm, use only two whole eggs and increase your milk to 1/2 cup (125ml). Or if you want a super rich tasting custard, use 4 yolks and no whole eggs; keeping the milk the same. If you do not have whipping cream or heavy cream, use a heavier milk; such as evaporated milk or coconut milk.
HOW TO:
1. Mix crust ingredients together with your hand until no more white flour then shape into a ball
2. Criss-crossed two or three sheets of parchment paper on flat a surface and flatten dough to a 9 in. or 23 cm diameter (or something that is slightly bigger than your rice cooker base). The sides should go up about 1 inch or 2.5 cm high. Carefully transfer the dough into the pot and center it as much as possible. Then press the dough onto the bottom on the outter edges and up the sides. Set it a side
3. Mix all filling ingredients with a hand whisk or electric beater for about 2-3 minutes
4. Strain the filling mixture through a fine mesh sieve into the rice cooker pot, making sure to not go outside of the crust. NOTE: The straining is to remove any large chunks for a smooth custard and it's optional
5. Sprinkle a pinch or two of cinnamon or nutmeg on top if you desire (it gives a nice color and smells wonderful
6. Bake for 2 bake cycles (1 hr). Tart is done when custard is firm to the touch. Rice cooker varies so bake another cycle if needed. If you want a darker crust, bake one more cycle with lid open and remove after 10 min
7. Let it cool in the pot for 20-30 minutes then remove it by lifting the parchment papers up and out. Be very careful and slow on this step. Now Enjoy!
OVEN BAKING:
1. Pre-heat oven to 400F (200C)
2. Bake in 9 inch pan or cupcake pan. Brush a light coat of butter on pan first, then lay flatten dough onto it, smoothing bottom and tucking longer edges. If using cupcake pan, cut dough into equal pieces for your pan, then flatten into circle and press into pan. Fill only 3/4 full of custard to prevent overflow during baking
3. Bake 25-35 minutes for 9 inch pan or 15-20 minutes in cupcake pan. Ovens varied so check and bake longer as needed

All I can say is... I ate three! Yes, That's right! Three slices of this cake within the first 30 minutes! If that doesn't make you want to bake this cake? Then you probably don't like strawberries! I LOVE strawberries! You will need about 2 pints or 500 grams of strawberries for this whole recipe. Enjoy it!
EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: Strawberry Cake from Scratch Recipe | Strawberry Cake with Frozen Strawberries
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 EGG (room temp)
• 1/4 cup (50g) SUGAR
• 1/4 cup (60ml) LIGHT OLIVE OIL (or vege oil)
• 1/2 tsp (2g) STRAWBERRY EXTRACT (or vanilla)
• 1 cup (140g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
• 1 tsp (4g) BAKING POWDER
• 1/8 tsp SALT
• 1/2 cup (125ml/135g) STRAWBERRY PUREE (from glaze below)
• 2 tbsp (20g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
• 7-10 STRAWBERRIES (cut in half)
STRAWBERRY GLAZE & TOPPING:
• 12 ounce (340g) STRAWBERRIES (fresh or frozen)
• 1/2 cup (100g) SUGAR (more or less to taste)
• 1 tbsp (7g) POWDERED SUGAR (icing sugar)
• Fresh berries (optional)
HOW TO:
1. If using frozen strawberries, thaw about 12 ounce (340g) at room temperature for about 2 hours. Keep the rest frozen. If using fresh strawberries, clean and cut strawberries into quarters then add sugar, stir to mix and let it sit for about 1 hour
2. Puree the strawberries and sugar in a blender or food processor. Measure out 1/2 cup or 135 grams for the cake base. Store the rest as your glaze
3. In a large mixing bowl, mix the egg, sugar and oil for about 2 minutes. Add the strawberry or vanilla extract and do a quick mix
4. Sift in the flour, baking powder and salt
5. Add the strawberry puree and mix about 30 seconds; making sure to scrape the sides to and bottom to thoroughly combine the ingredients
6. Pour into lined pot and spread the batter onto the bottom as much as possible
7. In a small bowl, add the 2 tablespoon of flour and then slice about 7-10 strawberries in half. Full coat the strawberry halves with flour then lay it on top of the batter, in single layer
8. Cover with a paper towel to catch steam water and bake for 3 bake cycles (1 hr 30 min). Rice cookers varied so check after 2 bake cycles
9. Cool completely, about 1 hour or more. Dust with powdered sugar if you like. Plate it and serve with the strawberry glaze on the side. Don't pour the glaze over your whole cake unless you plan to eat all of it quickly. Otherwise, your cake will became soggy

• 1/2 cup (70g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
• 2 tbsp (30g) UNSALTED BUTTER (melted)
FILLING:
• 1/4 cup (40g) BROWN SUGAR (packed)
• 2 tsp (5g) GROUND CINNAMON
• 1/2 tsp (1g) COCOA POWDER (packed; optional for color)
CAKE:
• 1/2 cup (100g) WHITE SUGAR
• 1/4 tsp SALT
• 2 tbsp (20g) BROWN SUGAR
• 1 tsp (4g) BAKING POWDER
• 1 tsp (4g) VANILLA EXTRACT
• 4 tbsp (60g) UNSALTED BUTTER (room temp)
• 1 EGG (room temp)
• 1/3 cup (80ml) MILK (room temp)
• 3 tbsp (45g) SOUR CREAM (plain yogurt/curd, room temp)
• 1 cup (140g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
HOW TO:
1. Make sure these ingredients are at room temperature: milk, sour cream, butter and egg. Measure the amount needed and let them sit at room temperature for about 1 hour
2. In a bowl, mix the crumble topping ingredients together then set aside
3. In another bowl, mix the filling ingredients together then set aside
4. In a large mixing bowl, beat sugars, baking powder, vanilla extract and until until combined, about 1-2 minutes
5. Add the egg and beat for 1 minute or until white color
6. Add sour cream into the milk and whisk until smooth
7. Add the flour and milk, in thirds, into the batter, gently mixing between each add. Batter will be thick, creamy and airy
8. Line or oil and flour your pot or pan. Pour half of the batter in and spread it onto the bottom as much as possible
9. Sprinkle the filling mixture evenly on top, shake and tap to distribute as needed
10. Add all the batter and spread evenly over the filling
11. Top with the crumble topping, distributing evenly. Put a swirl to break up the filing line in the middle, if you want to. It's optional
12. Cover with a paper towel and bake for 2 -3 Bake Cycles (1 hr 30 min). Rice cooker varies so check at 2 bake cycles and bake longer if needed
13. Cool completely, about 40-60 minutes before cutting. If you like it sweeter, drizzle on a sugar glaze (1 cup icing sugar + 1 tbsp milk)
OVEN BAKING:
Bake in a greased and floured a 9 in. pan, in pre-heated oven of 350F (175C) for 50-60 minutes. Ovens varied so check around 50 minutes and bake longer as needed

You guys, my viewers, are great! Making GREAT requests for cakes I've never tried before! I had keylime pie in the past but never keylime cake. Thanks to Dini for requesting this Keylime Cake! I made it vegan but you can use regular ingredients if you are not vegan.
EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: Key Lime Cake from Scratch | No Egg | Vegan
INGREDIENTS:
• 3/4 cup (180ml/190g) ALMOND MILK (any milk)
• 3 to 5 tbsp (45g/75g) LIME JUICE (more/less to taste; about 3-4 limes)
• 1 1/2 cup (210g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
• 2 tsp (10g) BAKING POWDER
• 1/2 tsp (2.5g) BAKING SODA
• 1/8 tsp SALT (a pinch)
• 3/4 cup (125g) POWDERED SUGAR (icing sugar)
• 1 to 2 tbsp (4g/8g) LIME ZEST (optional, more/less to taste; about 7 limes)
• 1/3 cup (80ml) COCONUT OIL (vege oil)
• 1/2 tsp (2g) GREEN FOOD COLORING (optional)
GLAZE:
• 1/2 cup (80g) POWDERED SUGAR (icing sugar)
• 3 tsp (15g) LIME JUICE (about 2 limes)
TOPPING:
• 2 tbsp (12g) DESICCATED COCONUT (shredded coconut)
HOW TO:
1. If using fresh limes, zest your limes to get 1 or 2 tablespoons; about 7 limes. I think 2 tablespoons really brings out the taste. But start with 1 tablespoon and add another tablespoon before baking.
2. Be sure to TASTE your lime juice for sweetness and sourness level. Your cake will not be tasty if your lime juice is not tasty. Juice about 5-6 limes and filter out the seeds. In my opinion, 5 tablespoons of lime juice is just right for my taste but start with 3 tablespoons and add more right before baking
3. In a bowl, mix milk and 3 tablespoons of lime juice then let it sit for 10-15 minutes. The milk will curdle as it sits
4. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, powdered sugar and lime zest (if using). Whisk to incorporate
5. After 10 minutes or so, add the oil and food color into the milk mixture and whisk. Add it to the flour mixture and whisk until creamy smooth, about 1 minute or so. Mixture will be bubbling. IMPORTANT: TASTE your batter for sweetness, tartness and sourness level. If you want, add more sugar, lime zest or lime juice to your taste
6. Pour into lined or greased pot and bake for 2 Bake Cycles (1 hour) then check. Rice cookers varies so bake longer is needed
7. Let it cool for 30 minutes in the pot then invert it onto a serving plate and let it cool for another 30-45 minutes, if glazing.
8. Whisk together glaze ingredients with a spoon and just spoon the glaze over your cake. Then top with desiccated coconut or shredded coconut flakes
OVEN BAKING:
Bake in greased pan, in pre-heated oven of 350F (175C) for 30-40 minutes. Ovens varied so check around 30 minutes and bake longer if needed

Most Asian culture eat "sticky rice" or "sweet rice", along with the other regular rice. We also pound or ground this rice to make sticky sweet treats. Each ethnic group make various version of sticky rice sweet treats. This "cake" recipe is in a sense, of Asian cake, and may not fit the traditional western cultures cake definition. It's more like a dessert "bar" in western cultures, I guess. Also, the recipe amount does not need to be "exactly" but close to it. So if it's a bit more or less, it's still fine. If you want a MORE FIRM cake, use LESS EVAPORATED & COCONUT MILK.
NOTES:
I used the doubled recipe, because I did not want ingredient left overs. So, I have a smaller serving amount below as well. The lesser amount is recommended for rice cooker bakers. If you still want to make the larger recipe, bake in two separate batches. This will minimize baking time. Serving sizes are estimates, depending on how big or small you cut them!
EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: Glutinous Rice Flour Cake Recipe | Coconut Sticky Rice Cake
INGREDIENTS:
SERVINGS: 20 (BAKE IN 2 BATCHES in RICE COOKER):
• 4 EGGS
• 1 can (12oz/354ml) EVAPORATED MILK
• 1 can (14oz/396g) SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
• 1 can (13.5oz/400ml) UNSWEETENED COCONUT MILK
• 1/3 cup (85g) UNSALTED BUTTER (melted)
• 1/2 cup (50g) DESICCATED COCONUT (shredded coconut flakes)
• 1 bag or 3 cups (16oz/400g) GLUTINOUS RICE FLOUR
• 1 tsp (4g) RED FOOD COLORING (optional)
SERVINGS: 10 (1 BATCH):
• 2 EGGS
• 3/4 cup (185ml) EVAPORATED MILK
• 1/2 cup (125ml) SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK (more/less to taste)
• 3/4 cup (185ml) UNSWEETENED COCONUT MILK
• 3 tbsp (43g) UNSALTED BUTTER (melted)
• 1/4 cup (25g) DESICCATED COCONUT (shredded coconut flakes)
• 1 1/2 cup (200g) GLUTINOUS RICE FLOUR
• 1/2 tsp (2g) RED FOOD COLORING (optional)
HOW TO:
1. Mix eggs, all the milk and butter until incorporated (yeah, video is for show ... hahaha)
2. Add coconut flakes, if using
3. Add flour and mix until flour is incorporated
5. Bake 3 bake cycles (1hr 30min). Rice cooker varies so bake longer if needed
OVEN BAKING:
Bake in greased or lined pan, in pre-heated oven of 350F (175C) for 40-50 minutes for larger serving and 30-40 minutes for smaller serving. Ovens varied so bake longer if needed.
NOTE: If you want a brown top, bake 20 minutes, then remove and brush the top with about 2 tablespoons of butter, then bake again for another 10-20 minutes.

Easy Vegan Cinnamon Roll Cake Recipe | No Eggs | EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES
INGREDIENTS:
Filling:
• 2 tbsp (30g) MARGARINE (room temp)
• 1/4 cup (45g) PURE BROWN SUGAR
• 1 tsp (3g) GROUND CINNAMON
• 1 tbsp (10g) UNBLEACHED ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
Batter:
• 3/4 cup (180ml/180g) ALMOND MILK
• 1/3 cup (80g) MASHED BANANA
• 1 tsp (5g) PURE VANILLA EXTRACT
• 1 1/2 cup (210g) UNBLEACHED ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
• 2 tsp (7g) BAKING POWDER
• 1/2 cup (100g) SUGAR
• 1/4 cup (58g) MARGARINE (melted)
• 1/4 cup (30g) CHOPPED WALNUTS (optional)
• 1 tbsp (10g) CHOPPED WALNUTS (optional)
Glaze (optional):
• 1/2 cup (80g) POWDERED SUGAR (icing sugar)
• 1 tbsp (15g) ALMOND MILK
• 1/2 tsp (3g) VANILLA EXTRACT (optional)
HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. Mix the filling together with a spatula until combined and set it a side
2. In a bowl or cup, whisk milk, mashed banana and vanilla together
3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, sugar to incorporate
4. Slowly add melted margarine as you mix, until incorporated but do not over mix it
5. If using nuts, fold in nuts until incorporated
6. Lined pot/pan for easy removal and pour in batter. Then drop small bits filling mixture all over the top of the batter. Using a butter knife or spoon handle, swirl the filling into the batter, however you like
7. Optionally, top with more nuts and bake. Mine was done in 3 bake cycles (90 min) but rice cooker varied so check around 2 bake and bake longer if needed
8. Let it cool for 30 minutes or longer then turn it onto serving platter
9. If using glaze, mix glaze together and drizzle it over your cake. ENJOY!

This delicate cake does take some patience. But if you are looking for a healthier version of the chiffon or sponge cake? This for you. It's KETO friendly with low carb and no sugar. Plus it's gluten-free! What could be better! Having your cake and eat it too!
Healthy Chocolate Sponge Cake | Low Carb | No Sugar | Gluten-Free | EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES
INGREDIENTS:
• 1/2 cup (55g) SIFTED FINE ALMOND FLOUR
• 5 EGGS (room temp)
• 2 oz (50g) DARK CHOCOLATE (70%-90% cocoa)
• 1/4 cup (60ml/55g) LIGHT OLIVE OIL
• 1 tbsp (8g) COCOA POWDER (dutch processed)
• 3 tbsp (35g) SUGAR SUBSTITUTE GRANULES (erythritol, stevia)
• 1/3 cup (80ml/75g) COCONUT MILK
• 1/4 tsp CREAM OF TARTAR ( or 1 tsp (6g) lemon juice)
• 3 tbsp (35g) SUGAR SUBSTITUTE GRANULES (erythritol, stevia)
• 1/8 tsp (a pinch) SALT
HOW TO:
1. Sift almond flour first; then measure amount needed. Do not pack the flour, if using measuring cup
2. Separate egg yolks and egg whites; making sure no egg yolks break into the egg whites. Wipe bowl and mixing tools for egg white with lemon juice or white vinegar to remove any oil residues. This helps to whip the egg whites to stiff peak faster
3. Heat chocolate and oil until chocolate melts, but not boiling (I microwave mine for 30-40 seconds then mix until fully melted). NOTE: If melting over stove top, use low heat; stirring with a whisk or spatula. Once it starts to warm and chocolate starts to melt, remove from heat and continue to whisk until melted
4. Add cocoa powder into chocolate and mix to incorporate
5. In large mixing bowl, whisk egg yolks, sugar and coconut milk until combined. Then add the chocolate and mix until smooth
6. Add almond flour into the batter and mix to incorporate
7. Beat egg whites for about 30 minutes, until foamy starts to form, then add cream of tartar or lemon juice. Beat for 1 minutes, then add 1 tablespoon of sugar. Beat for another minute then add another tablespoon of sugar. Repeat for the last tablespoon of sugar. Beat until you get stiff peak, about 4-5 minutes
8. Add salt into the batter and quickly mix to incorporate; about 30 seconds
9. Add 1/3 of whipped egg white to the batter and slowly fold in one direction for about 30-40 seconds. Then pour batter into the egg white bowl and slowly fold the mixture, moving in one direction; making sure to scrap the sides and bottom. It is important to fold slowly to maintain the whipped texture of the egg white. Do not over-mix or your sponge cake will flat. Mine was 1 minute and 30 seconds of folding the batter
9. Pour into lined pot (do not grease) and cover with paper towel to catch condensation. Bake for 3 Bake Cycles (1hr 30min) then check. Rice Cooker varies so bake longer as needed
OVEN BAKING:
1. Pre-heated oven of 325F (160C)
2. Fill another larger cake pan with hot water and set it on the lowest rack of the oven
3. Lined pan, in place it on 2nd lowest rack with lowest rack. This is a water bath baking
4. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until done. Ovens varied so check around 35 minutes and bake longer as needed

This recipe is super easy and has only 5 ingredients! You will get tasty cookies no matter how you bake it. Substitute with your favorite keto friendly ingredients and still enjoy this low carb cookie. I'm trying out the air fryer so you get to come along as I test it with me. Easy Peanut Butter Cookies | No Eggs | No Butter | No Milk | 5 Ingredients | Easy Rice Cooker Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 cup (265g) PEANUT BUTTER (crunchy peanut butter 285g)
• 1/4 cup (80g) MAPLE SYRUP (erythritol or other keto sugar subs)
• 1 tsp (3g) GROUND CINNAMON
• 1/2 tsp (3g) VANILLA EXTRACT
• 1/4 cup (40g) WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR (almond flour 1 cup/120g)
HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. Combined the first 4 ingredients and mix to incorporate. Then add the flour. Mix to combined. Your batter may varied depending on your peanut butter. If it's too runny, add 1 tablespoon of flour at a time or if it is too thick, add 1 tablespoon of water to get the right dough consistency
2. Roll into balls and press with a folk to create a design
3. Place on lined pot/pan
4. Bake for 1 Bake Cycle and check. Rice cooker varies so bake one more cycle as needed
5. Cool for 5-10 minutes and enjoy!
AIR FRYER BAKING:
1. Pre-heat air fryer at 325F (160C) for 2 minutes
2. Bake cookies for 12 minutes on one side
3. Optional, if you want to brown the bottom, let it cooled for 10 minutes the carefully flip the cookies over and bake for another 5 minutes
OVEN BAKING:
1. Pre-heat oven at 350F (180C)
2. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes

I've never heard of or eaten grape cake before; until a viewer mentioned it. I have to say, I was very surprised at how good this was. This cake tasted like blueberry cake! It could be the type of grapes I used... but that's what it tasted like to me.

EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: Grape Cake Recipe Without Oven | Grape Pound Cake
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 1/4 cup (160g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
• 1 tsp (5g) BAKING POWDER
• 1/3 cup (75g) UNSALTED BUTTER (room temp)
• 1/2 cup (100g) WHITE SUGAR
• 2 EGGS
• 1/2 cup (120g) SOUR CREAM
• 3 tbsp (40g) LIGHT OLIVE OIL
• 1/4 cup (60ml) WATER (room temp)
• 2 cups (350g) SEEDLESS WHOLE RED GRAPES (washed & dried)
NOTES:
Use only firm sweet whole grapes. Make sure to remove any soft ones. If your grape is not sweet or tasty, your cake may not taste good either.
HOW TO:
1. Whisk flour and baking powder together
2. Mix butter and sugar until light and creamy, about 1 minute
3. Add one egg at a time and mix about 1 minute between each egg
4. Add sour cream, oil and mix for 30 seconds
5. Sift in the flour and mix for 30 seconds
6. Add water, half at a time and mix about 1 minute
7. Lined pot and add half the grapes on the bottom
8. Add the batter evenly on the grapes
9. Layer the other half of the grapes on top
10. Bake for 3 bake cycles (1 hr 30 min). Rice cooker varies so check after and bake longer if needed
11. Cool for 20-30 before removing and cutting
OVEN BAKING:
Bake in lined and greased pan in pre-heated oven of 350F (175C) for 40-50 minutes. Ovens varied so check about 35 minutes and bake longer as needed

Ok, so I can't really burn the top of my cheesecake in the rice cooker. BUT... you can serve yours upside-down if you want to showcase that "burnt" look. Besides, no one will care about the name because it will taste heavenly! So EASY and DELICIOUS! Enjoy it!
RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: Burnt Cheesecake Recipe Easy
INGREDIENTS:
• 16oz (450g) CREAM CHEESE (room temp)
• 1/2 cup (100g) CASTER SUGAR (more/less)
• 1/2 tsp (3g) SALT
• 1 tsp (4g) VANILLA FLAVOR
• 2 EGGS
• 1/2 cup (125ml) EVAPORATED MILK
• 1/3 cup (80ml) WHIPPING CREAM
• 3 tbsp (25g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
HOW TO:
1. Beat the cream cheese and sugar until combined then add the salt and vanilla flavor. Beat for about 30 seconds more.
2. Taste the sweetness level before adding the eggs. Add more sugar if you like it sweeter
3. Add one egg at a time and beat about 30 seconds between each
4. Add milk and whipping cream and mix to combined
5. Sift in flour and beat for 30-40 seconds until smooth. Batter will be runny
6. Lined with parchment paper and make sure paper is higher on the sides; to prevent batter from completely seeping out.
7. Bake for 3 BAKE cycles (1 hr 30 min) then check. Mine took 4 bake cycles (2 hrs) but rice cooker varies so it may take more or less for you. Tester should have clumps stuck on it
8. Cool completely and let it set in the refrigerator for about 4 hours or overnight before cutting
OVEN BAKING:
Bake in lined pan, in pre-heat oven of 400F (200C) 55-60 minutes. Ovens varied so check around 50 minutes. You want the top to be dark and burnt looking; thus the name

One of my viewer wanted a very basic simple cake that she can make any time; with just flour, without eggs, milk, vanilla, butter or other fancy mixing tools or ingredients. So, here is a very simple basic cake recipe. It's soft and light but with a slightly dense texture when pressed or while eating. So, if you are craving cake but don't have other ingredients? Give this a try. Soft drinks and juice box doesn't require special storage so they are great to have on the shelf for this cake. Happy Baking!
EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: How To Make A Basic Simple Cake From Scratch | No Egg-Milk-Vanilla-Butter
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 1/2 cups (210g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
• 3 tsp (15g) BAKING POWDER
• 1 tsp (6g) BAKING SODA
• 1/2 tsp (3g) SALT
• 1/2 cup (100g) SUGAR
• 1/4 cup (60ml/50g) VEGETABLE OIL
• 1 tsp (5g) VANILLA FLAVOR (optional when using water)
• 3/4 cup or 7oz (200ml/196g) WATER/SOFT DRINK/JUICE
• 1 tsp (5g) WHITE VINEGAR (omit if using soft drink)
NOTES:
• If you have Vanilla Flavor extract on hand, use it when using water; cake will taste better
• If you have fruit juice or fruit flavored soft drinks, use those instead of water
• If using fruit flavored carbonated soft drinks, omit the vinegar
• Baking soda is necessary for reaction with the vinegar or soft drink to make the cake rise
• Baking powder is necessary to make your cake soft and light; otherwise it would be dense
• If you want a more "steamed cake texture", use only 1 tsp (5g) of baking powder
HOW TO:
1. In a large mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar. Mix to combine, using a wired whisk or forks
2. Add the oil and liquid (whichever you decide to use) and mix until the batter is smooth
3. Add the white vinegar (if not using soft drinks) and quickly mix to incorporate. The batter will bubble and that's what you need to make this cake rise
4. Bake for 2 Bake Cycles (1 hr). Rice cooker varies so check and bake longer if needed
5. Cool for 10-20 minutes before cutting
OVEN BAKING:
Bake in greased pan in pre-heated oven of 350F (175C) for 25-30 minutes. Ovens varied so check after 25 minutes and bake longer as needed

This cake is best with Cake Flour, if you have it. It will produce a soft and tender cake texture. But I understand most may not have cake flour. So, you can create your own cake flour using all purpose flour and corn flour (or corn starch). Using just all purpose flour is still ok but your cake will be a bit more firm and not as soft. Also, I tried using 4 eggs and it was not as moist. Using 6 eggs had that egg taste. So, 5 eggs is the perfect number.
EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: Pandan Sponge Cake With Coconut Milk and Pandan Essense
INGREDIENTS:
• 1/4 cup (35g) CORN FLOUR (packed)
• 1/2 cup (70g) + 2 tbsp (15g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR (total 85g)
• 1 tsp (4g) BAKING POWDER
• 1/4 tsp (2g) SALT
• 5 EGGS (separated & room temp)
• 3 tbsp (45g) CASTER SUGAR
• 3 tbsp (45g) OIL
• 1 tsp (5g) VANILLA EXTRACT
• 2 tsp (10g) PANDAN ESSENCE
• 1/4 tsp GREEN FOOD COLORING (optional)
• 1/3 cup (80ml/75g) COCONUT MILK (room temp)
• 5 EGG WHITES
• 1/2 tsp CREAM OF TARTAR (lemon juice/white vinegar)
• 3 tbsp (45g) CASTER SUGAR
NOTE:
If you use cake flour, use 1 cup (120g); DO NOT pack your cup but just pour flour into it
HOW TO:
1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk corn flour, all purpose flour, baking powder and salt
2. Separate eggs into separate large bowls; careful to not get any egg yolk into the egg whites
3. Add sugar to egg yolks and beat for 1-2 minutes until light in color
4. Add oil, vanilla, pandan essence and food coloring and beat 30 seconds then add the coconut milk and mix for another 30 seconds
5. Thoroughly clean your mixing tools and beat the egg whites for 30 seconds until foamy then add cream of tartar. Beat for 1 minute then add 1 tablespoon of sugar. Beat another minute and add another tablespoon of sugar. Repeat adding sugar and beat until you get a stiff peak; about 5-6 minutes
6. Sift half of the flour mixture into the egg yolk batter; whisk for 1 minute then sift the rest of the flour in. Whisk until completely combined and smooth
7. Add 1/3 of whipped egg white and slowly fold in one direction, for about 1 minute; making sure to scrape sides and bottom
8. Add another 1/3 of egg white and fold for another 1 minute or so
9. Add the last egg white and slowly fold for 1-2 minutes until there is no more dark streak turning up from the bottom. It is important to fold slowly and not overmix. Batter should be light, creamy and airy.
10. Line the bottom of the pot if you desire but do NOT grease your pot. Pour batter slowly into the pot to allow bubbles to burst; smooth out the top
11. Use a chopstick or skew to slowly stir in circular motion to remove more bubbles; popping any bubbles you see
12. Cover with paper towel to catch condensation and bake for 2 bake cycles (1 hour) then check. Rice cooker varies so bake another cycle if needed
13. If your cake is stuck to the sides of the pot, then turn it upside down to cool. This is supposed to help the cake from collapsing while cooling and setting. If your pot is non-stick and your cake did not stick to the side, then just cool it right side up
14. Cool it completely, about 1 hour before trying to remove the cake. Use spatula or knife to help loosen the sides. Slowly pull the cake off the bottom with your hands.
15. ENJOY!
OVEN BAKING:
1. Use a tube pan if you have one; do not grease it
2. Bake in pre-heated oven of 325F (160c) over a hot water bath for 30-45 minutes. Ovens varied so check around 30 minutes and bake longer as needed. NOTE: hot water bath could be, a pan with hot water on the bottom oven rack while cake pan is on the rack above it.
3. Once done, turn it upside down on a raised rack to cool. Cake should stick to pan and not fall down

EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: Moist Milo Cake With Milo Ganache Without Oven
INGREDIENTS:
• 3 tbsp (38g) SUGAR (white or brown)
• 1/2 cup (125g) UNSALTED BUTTER (room temp/melted)
• 3 EGGS
• 1 cup (125g) MILO POWDER MIX
• 1 cup (140g) ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
• 1 tsp (3g) BAKING POWDER
• 1/2 cup (125ml) MILK (any liquid milk)
MILO GANACHE (optional):
• 3 tbsp (24g) MILO POWDER MIX
• 2 tbsp (20g) POWDERED SUGAR (icing sugar)
• 1 tbsp (10g) MILK
HOW TO:
1. Whisk or beat sugar and butter together until creamy and light, about 1 to 2 minutes
2. Mix in one egg at a time, alternating with Milo powder mix, in thirds. Mix about 30 seconds with each egg and each Milo addition. Once all eggs and Milo powder has been added, mix for another minute. Batter should be creamy and not too thick
3. Sift in flour and baking powder then quickly whisk for 15 seconds
4. Add milk and whisk until incorporated, about 30 seconds
5. Pour into lined pot and cover with paper towel or strong napkin to catch condensation
6. Bake for 2 bake cycles (1 hour) and check. Mine was 3 bake cycles (1hr 30 minutes). Rice cooker varied so check after the 2nd bake cycle
7. Cool for 20-30 minutes before cutting
8. For the ganache, mix all ingredients in a small bowl with a spoon and drizzle it over the entire cake or per slice. Enjoy!
OVEN BAKING:
Bake in greased and lined pan, in a pre-heated oven at 350F (180C) for 30-40 minutes. Ovens varied so check around 35 minutes and bake longer if needed.

Banana Pineapple Bread Recipe With Nuts From Scratch | Banana Cake | EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 1/2 cup (210g) BREAD FLOUR
• 1/2 tsp (3g) SALT
• 1 tsp (3g) GROUND CINNAMON
• 1/2 tsp (3g) BAKING SODA
• 1/2 cup (100g) PURE CANE SUGAR
• 1/2 cup (125ml) CANOLA OIL (vege oil)
• 2 EGGS
• 1 tsp (5g) VANILLA FLAVOR
• 1 cup (250g) MASHED BANANAS (about 2-3)
• 1/2 cup (135g) CRUSHED PINEAPPLES (drained)
• 1/2 cup (60g) CHOPPED PECANS
• 2 tbsp (20g) BROWN SUGAR (1 tbsp for less sweet)
HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. In a bowl, whisk flour, salt, ground cinnamon and baking soda until combined; about 30 seconds
2. If using fresh pineapples or larger pieces, chopped into smaller size. Drain it and gently press or squeeze out as much juice as possible. Also, mash your bananas
3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla for about 2 minutes; until light in color
4. Fold in the mashed bananas and pineapples just until combined
5. Add the dry flour mixture and fold until almost all the white flours are gone. The add the chopped nuts and fold until incorporated. Do not over mix it
6. Pour into lined pot/pan then top with brown sugar. I highly recommend this because it definitely transform this bread; for me anyway
7. Bake for 3 BAKE CYCLES ( 90 min) then check. Rice cooker varies so bake longer as needed
8. Cool for about 20-30 minutes and ENJOY!

Puto is the Filipino name for this cake. But other Asian countries eat this same cake as well. Each has it's own name but in general, it's a steamed rice cake. I tried the recipe with cake flour and it was too dry and densed. An all rice flour is the traditional recipe and was very good; but quiet sticky. My version is a texture in between the two. I hope you will like it. Happy baking in your rice cooker.
EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: Matcha Green Tea Puto Cake | How To Make Steamed Rice Cake | Putong Bigas
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 cups (240g) RICE FLOUR (not glutinous)
• 1/4 cup (35g) CAKE FLOUR
• 2 tbsp (18g) GLUTINOUS RICE FLOUR (sweet rice flour)
• 1 tbsp (8g) MATCHA GREEN TEA POWDER (stronger taste 2 tbsp or 16g)
• 1/2 cup (100g) FINE WHITE SUGAR (sweeter 3/4 cup or 150g)
• 1 1/4 cup (310ml/350g) WATER (room temp)
• 1 tsp (4g) GREEN FOOD COLORING (optional)
• 1 tsp (5g) BAKING POWDER
• 1 tsp (3g) INSTANT DRY YEAST
RICE SLURRY:
• 1/4 cup (30g) RICE FLOUR
• 1 cup (250ml) WATER (room temp)
HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. In a large bowl, whisk flours, sugar and matcha green tea until combined (do not add baking powder and yeast)
2. Add water and whisk until batter is smooth, about 2 minutes. Add green food coloring, if using, and mix to incorporate. Set it a side
3. Cook rice slurry, until thick and creamy over medium flame or in rice cooker. Add it to the batter and whisk until smooth, about 1 minute or so. Taste your batter. If you want it sweeter or add more tea, then add it before baking. Batter will be thick but still drizzle easily, like honey or syrup
4. Add baking powder and instant dry yeast and mix to combined, about 1 minute
5. Cover tightly and set it in a warm place to proof for about 90 minutes. Batter is ready when you see bubbles and bumps on the top
6. Stir the batter well, to remove most of the bubbles then pour into greased pot/pan/molds. Typically, this cake is steamed but you can bake it in the rice cooker also
7. Bake for 2 to 3 bake cycles (about 90 minutes). Rice cooker varies so check after 2 bake and bake longer if needed
STEAMING:
• You can steam for 15-20 minutes, depending on the size of your molds, over medium flame
• For my rice cooker steaming, I added 1 cup (250ml) of water and let it boiled first, then it steamed for 20 minutes before the water evaporated and my rice cooker turned off. The cake was perfect

This was a tricky recipe to try and bake in the rice cooker. So, if yours didn't turn out so well, don't be discouraged. I tried 5 times and now, ready to just let it be. It tasted wonderful though. And a little powder sugar covers the imperfections on top! Enjoy and happy baking in your rice cooker!
EASY RICE COOKER CAKE RECIPES: How To Make Lemon Bars Easy Healthy Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
Crust:
• 1/3 cup (50g) WHITE WHEAT FLOUR (hard wheat flour)
• 1/3 cup (50g) WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
• 1/8 tsp SALT
• 3 tbsp (45g) COCONUT OIL
• 1 tbsp (25g) HONEY
Custard Filling:
• 3 EGGS
• 2 EGG YOLK
• 1/8 tsp SALT (omit if using salted butter)
• 4 tbsp (100g) HONEY
• 1/2 tsp CREAM OF TARTAR (optional for more tart taste)
• 1 tbsp (8g) TAPIOCA STARCH
• 1/2 cup (125ml) FRESH LEMON JUICE
• 1 tbsp (8g) FRESH LEMON ZEST
• 1 tbsp (15g) UNSALTED BUTTER
Topping:
• Powdered sugar (icing sugar)
HOW TO MAKE IT:
Crust:
1. Mix crust ingredients in a bowl until incorporated (do not over mix)
2. Lined your pot with a long sheet of parchment paper, extending to the sides. This will make it easier to remove the bars later
3. Flatten the dough evenly onto the bottom with your hand
4. Bake the crust for 1 bake cycle (30 min). See below for OVEN
Custard Filling:
1. Zest two lemons, to get about 1 tablespoon of zest
2. Juice two lemons, strained out the seeds and bits then measure out required amount
3. In large mixing bowl, add all the custard ingredients EXCEPT for the butter. Whisk for about 30 seconds to combined
4. Cook the custard on med to low flame for about 30 seconds, to activate the tapioca starch. Then take it off heat immediately (DON'T over cook like I did). Keep whisking until smooth. Then add the butter (if using). Of course, if you did overcooked it like me, it's still salvageable. Add 1 tablespoon of water at a time and whisk to get the right consistency. The custard should be a bit runny; where it does not hold any shape
5. Pour onto the pre-baked crust and shake slightly to distribute the custard
6. Bake for 2 bake cycles (1 hr) or until the center is set but jiggles lightly
7. Cool completely then refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting (yeah I couldn't wait). Eat it plain or dust with powder sugar
OVEN BAKING:
*Use 7x7 or 8x8 baking pan. Double recipe is using larger pan
1. Bake the crust in pre-heated oven of 350F (175C) until lightly brown; about 10-15 minutes. If your custard is not ready yet, remove the crust from the oven to prevent over browning
2. Bake bars for 20-25 minutes or until the center is set but still jiggles. Cool completely before removing or cutting
