A compilation of my 3 visits to the air base in Payerne in April 2021. It was impressive to see our air force close again after all this years. While the jets were doing their normal exercises, the EC635 pilots were training load transport, among other things with the water bag for fighting fires. The Superpuma that comes hovering once in the background with a trailer load has a 1-axle infantry trailer on it. The film sequences are made with a GoPro 7 Black clamped to the fence, the photos with the Canon EOS 90D with a Sigma 150-600 Contemporary telephoto lens and post-processed with Adobe Lightroom.

Sometimes it is interesting how one's own eye withholds beautiful things. If you look at the clouds normally then there is just a cloud, but not much more. Only in a time lapse over several hours you realize how moved the sky is. Since clouds dissolve, there is formed again, here it tears times and you have blue sky, just always interesting to look at. I would say that this is a symbol of the term "changeable weather" by the meteorologists.

Today I was 3h on the road with hunters and drone pilots to save fawn from cruel mowing death. We found some, the two here were particularly photogenic.

Through a post in the FB group "du bisch vo Olten" I became aware that the Pacific 01 202 is once again on the road. After a short research it was clear that I wanted to try to catch the rolling legend from the air. The only region outside the no-fly zones was the Bözingenfeld of the watch town Biel. Unfortunately, the power lines and pylons were so high that I could not get to the side, especially with this strong headwind. Fortunately, I still had my daughter there for the ground photography, together there were then really passable shots, but look for yourself.

In this video you can see the Cistercian monastery from the 12th century and around it the nursing home with the name "üses Dorf" and the rape fields around it, which are in full bloom at this time. On one of the few sunny Saturdays in May, I tried my luck again on the Frienisberg. Not only the blooming rape field invited to the obligatory overflight, but also otherwise the nature showed its best side. I made the video during a drone flight with Fäbu. He is an enthusiastic Phantom Pro flyer himself. We will definitely move more together "around the houses", not only because we live less than 5km apart!
