I want to talk about Eternal Security, We are certainly not going to solve this issue as people have been arguing about this for over a thousand years. When you take a look at God's word and you see a promise, that promise in order to be pure it has to have no strings attached. Any strings/conditions attached would be darkness? Let's look at a few promises of God. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Do you at this moment have Eternal Life? Then if you could lose it by some sin you committed, then it's conditional life not eternal life? Everyone sins everyday so which sin is the one that put you over the line of “That's it your gone?” 1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Every sin, past, present, and future, nailed to the cross 2000 years ago. Every Born Again Believer has the Holy Spirit residing within them and the Holy Spirit can't be defeated. Where I live there are a lot of homeless, I think they all migrate to California because of the weather and our welfare benefits. Tents are everywhere there is a grassy spot to set them up. Old RV's line the streets and make small shanty towns everywhere. Most folks don't mind the homeless as long as they stay out of their neighborhood. The biggest problem with the homeless is the trash, trash everywhere? Roseville road, San Francisco, Superbowl, Sacramento Iron man, etc. When ever I see the homeless which is almost everyday, I try to say a prayer for them, but I constantly thank God that I'm not one of them. I thank God daily for my home, and for feeding me. 2. David also tells us when you thank God, you show Him your gratitude by adjusting your life by living according to His will. If you don't alter you life your praise is hollow, just empty words. 3. However if you do alter your life and live according to Gods will, the reward is salvation. I want to talk to you today about three things that you need to be doing daily. Abide or Remain; I hate the term “Backslidden” to me backslidden means you are under tremendous assault from the demonic host and you are losing? It’s time to turn that around. To abide/remain is to be in fellowship with God at all times. So occasionally we need to do an inventory and clean things up. Remove; You can’t lose your salvation however you can fall out of followship with God when the demonic host is allowed to slip something into your life that doesn’t belong there? Jesus had given his diciples power over unclean/demonic spirits and they had great success, however suddenly they had one big failure? During this entire encounter Jesus was in complete control as he possessed complete power. Their lives were in his hand. Christians are to be separated from the world, we are in the world but we are not of the world. We are to be a Light in the darkness. Light exposes darkness and darkness flees in the presents of light. Ever been trying to do something and not have enough light, you just can’t see, then you get a flashlight and all the sudden you can function. People love darkness, they only do their evil deeds in the shadows, why because light will expose them and their deeds. So what is their solution, they want to take the darkness and turn it into light, why? So they are not exposed, they want do what they do in the shadows they want to do in the light without guilt of shame, how? The Government passes laws trying to legalize darkness therefore making it light. Verse 37-38 are pure darkness, legalize abortion and wall-la darkness becomes light? Legalize gay marriage, normalize LGBT prevision and wall-la darkness becomes light? Legalize Porn and wall-la darkness becomes light? The problem with all this hocus-pocus is even Christians fall for it. They think well if it’s legal then darkness has become light. Music by Send Rain You could have folded today? I was reading a book I found on my bookshelf last week by David Wilkerson, Pastor of The Times Square Church in New York. May 19, 1931 – April 27, 2011 was an American Christian evangelist, best known for his book The Cross and the Switchblade. I have absolutely no idea where I got it, most likely I've had had it for years, maybe I picked it up at a yard sale or perhaps my wife got it at the goodwill store? Anyhow God had me pick it up and read it at the perfect time, as I very much needed to hear what Pastor Wilkerson has to say? I found a golden nugget in that book that I wanted to share with you? Pastor Wilkerson was having a bad day, worse than any that he had experienced in a long time? It seemed that The Gates of Hell had opened up against him and he had demonic forces coming at him from every angle, everything was going wrong. At the end of the day He felt completely defeated? As He finally got into bed, He was lying their thinking what a horrible day this had been. He felt completely defeated? Then God spoke something into his spirit and he knew it was God as the saying was not anything that he would use? This is what God said to him, “You could have folded today, but you didn't! I read that and couldn't help but think how great it would be to go to bed every night after a horrible day and have God say, “You could have folded today, but you didn't”. If your life is not giving God pleasure then perhaps your guarding angel is asking for just a little more time? Mat 21:18 -20 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered. 19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. God will allow your guarding angel more time however eventually time will run out? Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. In every nation, every crowd, every home, their are only two groups of people, the overcomers and the lost. The Lost, the unpleasurable, will be blotted out? Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. What I'm about to give you is my personal opinion on several matters on the subject? 1. The United States Government The President and his staff, members of Congress, and The Senators, are with very few exceptions all corrupt to the core? These people go into office and in a very short time become multi-millionaires? Lies, lies, I believe 911 was an inside job, The House of Saud and the Bushes, The Aircraft allowed to fly on 911, Kennedy Assassination, the 1969 Moon Landing? Psa 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. Psa 118:9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes. 2. The Police and the US Military, Jesus, Peter and Paul were completely unconcerned about the Romans in fact they helped them. No matter what happens I will not fire on police or any US soldier, I will submit and be martyred if necessary. UN Troops, maybe. Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers.
