China's Customs Department has officially encouraged consumers to buy Australian products including lobsters, ugg boots and pearls. The announcement is regarded as a further sign of a potential trade thaw between China and Australia. The statement by the Customs Department notes China has been Australia's "largest trading partner for 13 years" saying its products are "widely enjoyed by Chinese consumers".

Deliveroo Australia's parent company is expected to pay creditors $19 million by the end of April.
