Casual Outfits For Older Men | Mens Fashion | Mens Style For Older Men
What's up Guys
The best styles always keep simple.
Looking like we still care—and we do still care, right?—means making some clean, clear decisions about how we want to look.
Older men like us are best off choosing one general look and then sticking to it. For example, if you feel good in a blazer and jeans, then don't ditch that style just because you're getting a little older.
Style stays; fashions fade. Instead of chasing trends, men our age can rely on a crisp white shirt, a pair of good-fitting blue jeans, and a sleek pair of brown cap-toe Oxfords. Add a slim-cut navy blazer if the occasion calls for it. That's easy style that has always looked good, and always will. Like us.
If you're in the mood, a subtly patterned tie is always appropriate for older men, and it will pull your look together.

Articles of Style: Custom Menswear Made in America
Articles of Style (formerly The Style Blogger) was launched in 2009 and quickly became the most popular menswear blog in the world, with millions of readers in more than 150 countries. Since then AOS has been featured in GQ, Esquire, Men’s Health, Playboy, Complex, Sports Illustrated, The New York Times, The BBC, The Today Show, and many others.
Founded by “America’s Best Dressed Man” Dan Trepanier, the original goal of the site was simple; to make fashion easier and more relatable for “real guys”. Dan spent several years researching, buying, wearing and reviewing menswear made by just about every brand in the business, from high-end bespoke to cheap “fast fashion“. It was an unending quest to find the perfect brand; one that combines quality craftsmanship, ethical manufacturing, timeless design, expert fittings for any body type, and personal wardrobe planning that could help his audience of “real guys” dress with style and confidence – with minimal effort and lasting results.
Frustrated with the the market, and encouraged by his loyal supporters, Dan went back to school to study menswear design, spent 3 years apprenticing with a bespoke tailor in NYC, and put together an all-star team to turn his acclaimed blog into a full-service menswear destination that combines quality products with quality service and provides real-life inspiration that goes beyond cloth and touches on the lifestyle of the modern gentleman.
In October of 2015 AOS launched their online custom menswear shop. Overnight they became the only e-commerce brand to provide real fittings with real tailors, to make all of their garments here in America, and to provide personal styling services to gentlemen from anywhere in the world. AOS now has clients as far a part as Canada, Brazil, Japan, Germany, and Dubai – the majority of whom have re-ordered and begun building long-term wardrobes. Most importantly, AOS teaches their clients to invest in quality craftsmanship, cut-down on wasteful consumption, and use the act of dressing with respect to influence the world around them.
To learn more about AOS, check out how it works, read client reviews, and get started by filling out your very own AOS account.

Men's Suit fashion 2021 Lookbook - Black Menswear Seattle Flash Mob
"I am America. I am the part you won't recognize. But get used to me. Black, confident, cocky; my name, not yours; my religion, not yours; my goals, my own; get used to me." – Muhammad Ali
Tell me, America, what do you see when you look at these pictures?
Do you see pride? Is it defiance you're spotting? Does it make you feel uncomfortable? Tell me, America, what do you feel?
What I see is excellence. I see fashion. I see a powerful group of gentlemen who refuse to be stopped and can't be ignored. I see us: and I feel represented.
Black Menswear tells the untold story of Black men.
Since 2017 the mission has been clear: change the narrative, create empowering content, and provide a safe space for conversation and community.
The path forward is ever-winding, and some frontiers have yet to be paved, but we getting there. NeAndre Broussard, Evan Marshall, and the rest of the Black Menswear squad work to improve the perception of Black men in this society - holding fast to our strong roots - while reinforcing positivity in our communities. Representation matters; I'll say it again: Representation matters. Black Menswear is changing the old dusty negative narrative while reflecting our culture and uncanny style in ways that inspire.
Black Menswear has Three community-building pillars to make this engine go:
FlashMob photoshoots, culture content creation, and social media influence/engagement.
I was privileged to be a part of the most recent FlashMob photoshoot here in Seattle and was encouraged by the turnout: Coming together as a collective was prideful and hopeful (two concepts we need more of in our communities, two things we need more of in Seattle).
Soon, I aim to be part of additional events and look forward to partnering with Black Menswear in the future. Because the revolution is coming, it's fashionable, and it ain't waitin on nobody.
So tell me again, America, what do you see when you look at these pictures?
