Testing some 6mm Carbon Steel ball-bearings in the Dan Wesson revolver, against 6mm 0.25 gram plastic BB's. The Dan Wesson shoots these 6mm Steel BB's pretty well and they seem very robust.

CROSMAN 2240 / REXIMEX SILENT FORCE MODERATOR FIT 01/09/2023
Reximex Silent Force Moderator delivered door to door by Pellpax, fitted to my Crosman 2240 Pistol using a GunTuff 11.05mm adapter.
This moderator is 128.8mm (5.07 inches) long ,has a diameter of 26mm (1.02 inches) and weighs in at only 68 Grams (2.4 Ounces), ideal for pistols.
Certainly much more backyard friendly, just need to make a new foresight.👍

CROSMAN 2240 MULTIPLE PELLET TEST 31/08/2023
Testing with my Crosman 2240, free-standing and semi-rested with a collection of different pellets. Best pellet for my 2240 seem to be the RWS Hobby 11.9 Grain, closely followed by the H&N 15.89 Grain and the other two H&N pellets.

UMAREX CP88/CP88C PISTOL COMPARISON REVIEW 27/08/2023
Shooting review comparison between the Umarex CP88 and its larger brother the CP88 Competition. 10 Yards, 12.5 & 15 Metre targets using Webley VMX 8.18 grain domed pellets.
Muzzle energy with the VMX 8.18 grain pellet, average 8 Shots:-
CP88:- E/AVG 2.27 Ft/Lb , V/AVG 354 FPS , SPREAD 11 FPS.
CP88C:- E/AVG 2.63 Ft/Lb , V/AVG 381 FPS , SPREAD 8 FPS.
Two cracking pistols that are more accurate than me, but would be even better with a much tighter sight picture.

CROSMAN 2300T CO2 PISTOL UNBOXING REVIEW 20/08/2023
Unboxing review of my wife's new Crosman 2300T Co2 pistol. Bolt action, single shot .177 Cal. using various pellet weights to see what energy its capable of. Pretty good out of the box, though the trigger could be lighter. Chronograph results were good at 12 FPS spread over the first 26 shots, averaging 4.6 Ft/Lb with a 15 second pause between shots.
Next job, silencer adapter with built-in foresight.
EKOL ES66 CO2 BB PISTOL OUTDOOR SHOOTING REVIEW 23/07/2023
Outdoor shooting review of my new Ekol ES66 Co2 BB pistol. Not too bad considering I had to aim a couple of inches lower, as this pistol shoots high even at 15 Metres. Plenty of grunt at 2.72 Ft/Lb and a good shot count, at least 98, seven full mags.
Very well put together being all metal, (with five different finishes available, this being the Black) except the grips, which are really good quality plastic.
Dot on the foresight would probably help with accuracy as you need to get that low in the rear sight to compensate for the high shooting, something to look at. Still, I like it, and the trigger should improve with use.

BSA ULTRA .25 CAL. 25 METRE SHOOT 01/07/2023
Out with my BSA Ultra .25 Cal. using Air Arms 25.4 grain pellets at 25 Metres. Even though it was very windy, with random high gusts she performed very well, grouping great. Will re-zero on a much calmer day.👍

UMAREX CP88 COMPETITION UNBOXING REVIEW 28/06/2023
Unboxing review of my new Umarex CP88 Competition Co2 pistol from TAL Arms Ltd in Christchurch. My CP88 Competition produced more that 3 Ft/Lb at the muzzle with all three pellets tested, so has around an extra 0.5 Ft/Lb over my standard CP88, so plenty of grunt. Nice addition to my collection with a full shooting review and Standard CP88 comparison to follow.
ASG SCHOFIELD REVOLVER / 15, 20 & 25 METRE SHOOT 06/06/2023
Single handed, free standing shooting of my ASG Schofield revolver using RWS Superfield 8.4 grain, 4.52mm head. Bit gusty today, but the Schofield performed pretty good at 15, 20 & 25 Metres. Impressive revolver.👍

REXIMEX MITO .22 CAL. / 10 METRE (POST SPRING) TEST 03/06/2023
Out with my Reximex Mito .22 Cal. (post spring change) to see if she is easier to shot. With the 2nd stage release down from over 5 Lb to 2 Lb, if you do your bit this is an accurate pistol. More practice required, and the Hobby pellets shot nicely from the Mito.👍
REXIMEX MITO TRIGGER SPRING CHANGE 02/06/2023
Reximex Mito trigger spring change. 2nd stage release now down to 2 Lb from 5.15 Lb. This should help its accuracy.👍
Apologies for the video quality, this camera focus isn’t over keen on artificial light.
MIKE'S AGT VIXEN (SHORT) .177 CAL. SHOOT 31/05/2023
Mike chatting about his new AGT Vixen in .177 Cal. He's using JSB Heavy 10.34 Grain pellets with the 4.52mm head, which his Vixen likes very much. Grouping was an easy full 15 shot magazine under 15mm at 25 Metres, in the breeze. Consistency was very good as you can see on the video and we put another magazine through, with the same results, 60 shots, 9 FPS spread with a deviation of only 2.5 FPS. Mike seems very happy with that.👍

UMAREX DUAL AMMO GLOCK 17 / FIXED SIGHTS 27/05/2023
Had my Umarex Dual Ammo Glock 17 out today to see how good the fixed sights are. Using Superfield 8.4 Grain with the 4.52mm head she shoots slightly to the left judging by the impacts on the flip-ups. Really nice pistol that's fun to shoot, sort of let down a bit by its heavy trigger release. Accurate though if you can keep her on target.

UMAREX HK416 A5 OUTDOOR SHOOTING REVIEW 20/05/2023
Outdoor shooting review of my new Umarex HK416 A5 Co2 BB rifle. Paper targets at 10 Yards, 12.5 & 15 Metres, with soup cans at 12.5, 15 & 20 Metres. Quite gusty today so the 5.37 grain Daisy zinc-coated BB's were affected by that, then throw in the less than excellent shooter, which makes the result not too bad, way more accurate than me. 10 yard target does show the red dot is pretty well setup, and the 15 Metre man was pretty decent too, for a BB shooting airgun.
Definitely worth having a sighting aid on her, making her a real fun plinking airgun.
Weight :- 36 BB's, 2xCo2 & Red dot was 2146 Grams / 4.73 Lbs.
My apologises for the poor light.

REXIMEX MITO .22 CAL. 10 YARD ACCURANCY TEST 11/05/2023
Zeroed up my new Victoptics 1x18 red dot on my .22 Reximex Mito using Webley FT 14.66 grain pellets at 10 Yards. Way more accurate than me and I'm pretty sure with a lighter sear release, my accuracy will certainly improve. Very good pistol that Reximex could improve on, by suppling a proper adjustable rear sight, and fitting better balanced springs in the trigger assembly.

REXIMEX MITO .22 CAL. 10 METRE COMPETITION TARGET 07/05/2023
First try out with my Reximex Mito .22 Cal. pistol today, 10 Metre competition target distance, to see how she performs using the Bisley Practice 13.73 Grain pellets. Not too bad for the first attempt, with the pull weight of the trigger being the only down side once you fit a decent rear sight.
