House of the Dragon Renewed for Third Season Before Season Two Premiere
Ahead of the premiere of its second season, HBO has announced that House of the Dragon will for at least one more season. George R. R. Martin, himself, has said that he foresees the series going for at least four or five seasons to truly do his story justice.
House of the Dragon starts Emma D'Arcy as Rhaenyra Targaryen, Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen and Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower. Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, and more are also set to reprise their roles from the first season.
The second season premiered Sunday, June 16th on MAX.

George R. R. Martin Says Game of Thrones Prequel 10,000 Ships Has Been Revived
In a post on his blog, George R. R. Martin praised the work of recent Pulitzer Prize winner Eboni Booth, and said that she had been 'kept busy by HBO' and himself working on the pilot for the series.
10,000 Ships will follow the journey of the Princess Nymeria as she leads her people to their new home, the land of Dorne.

Warner Brothers came to the Annecy Animation Festival to reveal the first twenty minutes of Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, the franchise's anime debut. Thunderbolts* Star Says the Movie Will Bring the MCU "Back to its Roots"
In a recent interview with The New York Times, Julia Louis-Dreyfus spoke on her return to the MCU in the upcoming film Thunderbolts*. Louis-Dreyfus said that this film will end Phase 5 by bringing the MCU "back to its roots" with a more "human story" and much less CGI than fans have grown accustomed to.
Thunderbolts* will follow a team of reformed supervillains who are sent on missions for the government. First Trailer Released For Third Venom Movie
Sony has released the very first trailer for the third installment in the Venom trilogy.
In Venom: The Last Dance, "Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie's last dance."
The third Venom movie wil see Tom Hardy reprise his role as Eddie Brock, or the titular VENOM. Joining the cast is Chiwetel Ejiofor in a currently undisclosed role. Venom: will be in theaters on October 24th, 2024.

'300' TV Series in Early Development, Zack Snyder in Talks to Direct
A television prequel series to the 2006 film '300' in reportedly in early development at Warner Brothers Television. Plot details are currently unclear, as the series has not yet found its writer. Zack Snyder, however, the director of the first film, is in talks to return to the series.
At the end of last year, Snyder revealed that he and his wife/co-producer, Deborah Snyder, regained the rights to a previously penned '300' sequel film.
