At least 19 dead in US winter storm
Millions of Americans are facing blizzards, flooding and life-threatening cold temperatures this Christmas as an unprecedented winter storm smashes its way through most of the country.
At least 19 people have died, and one and a half million people are without power.
Thousands of flights have also been cancelled.
The US weather service is predicting the coldest Christmas Eve on record for several cities.

His passing at Sao Paulo's Albert Einstein hospital where he was receiving chemotherapy was confirmed on his Instagram account.
