Just 3,000 light-years from Earth is a black hole visible to the naked eye. Thankfully, we are a safe distance from this stellar black hole and many others like it. There are approximately 100 million of them out there in our galaxy that we know of. They are the remnants of supernovae, which occur when stars 10 to 20 times larger than our Sun collapse in on themselves. Could a black hole devour us all one day? There are millions of them out there just waiting. And if we happened to make a black hole accidentally, well, you better fasten your seatbelts. Things are going to really suck! Quite literally. What would we see if we got pulled into a black hole? Could Earth orbit the Sun and a black hole? Would we survive spaghettification? What would happen if we get past the event horizon?

Does the Sun make sound? Yes! and it's very unsettling! During its first few years of exploring the Sun, NASA's Parker Solar Probe recorded six strange but amazing sounds of the solar wind. The solar wind is a stream of charged particles released from the Sun's upper atmosphere, known as the Corona. Scientists have studied the solar wind for more than 60 years, but they're still puzzled over some of its behaviours. However, by listening to the pressure waves it produces, we can hear the bizarre sounds of the Sun. The small chirps, squeaks, hurricane-like screams and rustles recorded by the Parker Solar Probe hint at the origin of this mysterious and ever-present wind. So what does the Sun sound like? Our Universe is not silent.. Although space is a vacuum, that does not mean there is no sound in it. Yes, space is a vacuum - so it generally doesn't carry sound waves like air does here on Earth. However, some sounds do exist in outer space, we just can't hear them. Various probes that zoom through the space are capable of capturing radio emissions from astronomical objects. NASA's scientist have designed special instrument known as 'astronomical interferometer' which can record these electromagnetic vibrations, and transfer them into sounds within range of human hearing (20-20,000 Hz). A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth is between the Sun and the Moon. The Moons is actually more of an oval shape. The Moon is international property. Apollo 17 astronaut Harrison Schmitt was allergic to the Moon. Astronauts have brought 842 pounds of moon material back to Earth. The dark spots on the moon are called maria.
