This is the only known example of the 1901 Canadian Nursey Gram-O-Phone. It was marketed in December 1901 in Montreal as a Christmas gift for children.

Invented by J W Whitlock in 1903, the automatic harp was a marvel of it’s day. It soon caught the eye of Wurlitzer who made an offer with Whitlock to purchase a large quantity of instruments and retail them under the Wurlitzer name. These instruments are very rare today with only 7 known original instruments surviving. This original example was restored by Robert Loeffler.
