‘The Fish Rots From The Head’: Jen Psaki Blames Near Fisticuffs in Congress Squarely on Trump
PSAKI: “This week, in the span of one day — we are talking about one single day here — former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was accused of elbowing Tennessee representative Tim Burchett in the kidneys, a fistfight nearly broke out in the middle of a Senate hearing when Senator Markwayne Mullin stood up from his chair to confirm the president of the Teamsters union — I’m not sure why that was necessary — and the chairman of the House Oversight Committee screamed at another representative in another hearing, calling him a smurf. I don’t know about the use of that word, but here we go. In fact, Republicans' tempers flared so dramatically and so publicly that Speaker Mike Johnson told them to take Thanksgiving to cool off. But let’s face it, we all kind of know they won’t. Because the fact is, the fish rots from the head, it always does. And Donald Trump remains the de facto head of the GOP. Now, none of this behavior should come as a surprise, given Trump’s role in unleashing a violent mob on the Capitol on January 6th. The problem is, rank-and-file Republicans in Congress seemingly refuse to learn from that history, even when it once put their lives in jeopardy."

Ramaswamy Hits Back at Donna Brazile For ‘Intentionally’ Mispronouncing His Name and Saying
Vivek Ramaswamy hit back at former DNC chair Donna Brazile on Sunday after she mispronounced his name several times during the most recent episode of Real Time with Bill Maher and said the Republican candidate needs to “just shut the hell up and go home.”
Both Brazile and former Republican Adam Kinzinger mispronounced Vivek while discussing the Republican field with host Bill Maher, who called them on it and told them the correct pronunciation. That correction prompted the ABC News contributor to reply “whatever.”
When Maher challenged Brazile’s “whatever,” she responded by then mangling the candidate’s last name as well. Eventually Maher pointed out that “there’s something wrong with everybody refusing to learn to say his name.”

BURR: "It's big boy stuff. But don’t come back and start crying."
EISEN: "Bill Burr here on 'The Rich Eisen Show.' I love — "
BURR: "It’s like those Trump guys, they’re always going like, 'Oh, you snowflakes, F your feelings,' and all of that. And then you make fun of Trump and they're like, 'Oh my God, it’s so disrespectful!' It's like you saying, 'F Joe Biden,' it’s like, you can’t have it both ways. So that’s my thing as a Pats fan, okay? It’s just like, if you're doing it too, quit your crying. Quit your crying, you know?"

Biden Stumbles, Confuses Taylor Swift with Britney Spears at the Thanksgiving Turkey Pardon Event
BIDEN: "Now, just to get here, Liberty and Bell had to beat some tough odds and competition. They had to work hard to show patience and be willing to travel over 1000 miles. You could say even that's harder than getting a ticket to the Renaissance tour or -- or -- or Britney Spears' tour. She's down in -- it's kind of warm in Brazil right now."

WaPo’s Balz on Trump Remaining the GOP Frontrunner: This Is the Most Unusual Campaign
BALZ: "You know, this is the most unusual campaign we've ever been through, for all the obvious reasons that we're talking about already, in addition to the fact that the former president is under indictment, 91 felony counts against him. I mean, there is so much that's going on in this country that has nothing to do with what's actually being done and said on the campaign trail. So, it's a question of, how much of that is actually breaking through? I don't think that the traditional kind of campaigning is having as much effect. Now, if you look at where things are in the Republican race, yes, Nikki Haley has — has risen. She's risen in Iowa. She’s risen in New Hampshire. But she has to get through Iowa in a substantial way. If the former president comes through with a very big victory in Iowa and does the same in New Hampshire, that race is pretty much over. And I think that the anticipation is that, might there be a surprise in Iowa? Yes, it's possible. But I don't think anybody's betting on that. And that's why the president and the former president are doing what they're doing right now."

Kawar: The War Puts a Lot of Pressure on the Jordanian Gov’t Because People Are Angry with Israel’s
KAWAR: "I wouldn't say the word 'destabilizing,' but it is putting a lot of pressure on His Majesty and on the government because people are angry. They see the images every day. I mean, we're all angry. It's very humiliating. It's very hurtful and it's — it's inhumane. And we're just wondering, how far is this going to go? We're calling for a ceasefire. We're calling to go back to negotiations. And as the senator said, we do not to be — the only way to be pro-Israeli is to ask for peace. And the only way to be pro-Palestinian is to ask for peace. This is common grounds for both of us. So, we need to go further on that. And on the settlers, just as a word in the West Bank, the settlers are going haywire, unhinged and are not caring about the law and nobody's able to stop them.”

Mike Turner: Since the War Began, We’re Actually Understanding that Israel Has a
TURNER: "Well, I think there certainly is a gap that was unexpected with respect to Israel's intelligence gathering. You know, when we saw the failures of October 7, where they failed to see the emerging horrendous Hamas attack and the taking of hostages that resulted in what you're reporting, we wondered whether or not it was a lack of focus. But now that the United States is actually working with Israel and trying to assist in locating Hamas and understanding Hamas' structure, we're actually understanding that Israel has a gap in also capabilities. Now, of the operational aspects, as you related, because we saw a lack of response after the Hamas attack began to unfold, there also were concerns as to whether or not Israel was going to get to go into Gaza and to be able to locate and to dismantle Hamas. But I think everyone's seeing it, they're progressing at a much faster rate than anyone had expected. But, still, as we see now, the reports that are coming out of Gaza, as Israel reports, what they're accomplishing, there certainly is concern and doubt."
