Service dog training- Peaches helping me fold laundry.
I’ve only had Peaches a few months. When I first got her she was terrified when I would pick up a piece to fold. Always afraid of being hit. Now when she sees me drag the basket into the living room to fold the clothes she comes running to help without even being ask to help. The treats that I’m using it’s just her regular dog food that she has a bowl full in the next room.

Belgian Malinois dog chasing chickens learns many lessons.
Peaches almost caught the chicken today . In the process she learned several lessons. First not to chase the chickens. Second the stop and come when called. Third. That the chickens are my animal, you better not chase them. Forth and most important, that I can be very mad but she won’t be killed by me.
With her past home she was a unsocialized and abused, trying to make her mean. It didn’t work she’s still the sweetest thing. But she is always afraid of being hit or hurt. She is beginning to learn what a real home is filled with love and discipline.

A wonderful bond between horse and owner
Tri and I have such a strong bond and can read each others body language so well. I think she can read my mind sometimes. Everywhere I looked so would she. I’ve raised Tri from a foal. She will be 23 years old at the first of the year.

Horse looses bridle during ride and owner has to argue with phone.
While riding today, try wanted to go home and I will need to go onto the point. We turn towards the point, and she thought that would be a good time to stop and scratch your head. It was really just an excuse for her to stop. While scratching her head, she pulled the headstall off of her head. While pulling her head towards me, so I could readjust, apparently I hit the Siri button. It cut the camera off. While trying to pull it back over I was saying a few choice words. Siri piped up and said that’s not nice. I told her to shut up and give me my camera back. And she responded. I am on it. Needless to say she did not give me the camera back. I did not get to film me flipping the whole bridle back up. The whole situation was so funny to me. I have never had to argue with a telephone to give me my camera back. This technology is crazy sometimes. But it made for a funny memory.

High speed cross country horseback ride, with butt slide ending!!!
I wanted to share the whole trail ride with everyone, but I couldn’t do that. So I just did a high speed clip on part of it. With the most dangerous part at the end, when my trail ran out. I had to do a butt slide down the side of the mountain on no trail! It was a whole lot steeper than I look’s on camera. There were a few more funny parts that I would like to share later, so stay tuned to this channel for more hilarious excerpts from my run.

Belgian Malinois dog helps clear logs and storm debris from around pier.
Today when I went down to the river all kinds of debris had floating in around the pier. Peaches watched it intently. Then went to work pulling logs , far bigger than herself from the water. She must have made 25 trips before I decided she had worked hard enough. The smaller ones she put on the pier. Largest ones were left on the landing and the whole hillside was covered with logs she had pulled in. I wondered if I could rent her out for cleanup duty after the storm.

Poodle gives canine sister his unwanted treats. So sweet!
Zach is not crazy about his milk bones in the morning. So if he decides he doesn’t want something he will turn around and take it out peaches. He has always done this with his treats or toys either one. He is truly one of the sweetest dogs I have ever seen.

E-collar helps deaf dog be able to communicate
A neighbor ask me to help her deaf dog not to pull on leash and comeback when called. I immediately thought of my. @invirox_ training collar. Or shock collar as some people call them. I knew if I could get him to associate the buzz or vibration with a good thing I’m getting treats. Maybe we could help him to communicate with his owner better. The first thing she said was e-collars are cruel. After I groomed him, I decided to work with him with a collar for a few minutes and videoed the process. When she came back to pick him up, I showed her the 15 minute video. I think she was amazed with the way, I was able to communicate with him. Now I think she is all Lynn on getting an E collar to help her communicate. Training collar should not be about punishment they should be about communication. These collars can be amazing tool and communication. In my opinion, they should never be used for punishment unless your dog is fixing to run in front of a car , or something to that effect. Training should always be a positive thing so the dog wants to learn. And to me this was the best way of being able to communicate with him. As you can see, he was never afraid or harmed in anyway, it just got his attention to where he could get a treat. I told her to start working with him at home as a game. The buzz should always be positive and he will get a treat.

Poodle chasing chipmunk does a double flip. WIPEOUT!
Zak was chasing a chipmunk this morning. As he chased it down the hill. He couldn’t turn as quick as the chipmunk. Especially in the slick leaves. Making him do a double flip. But he immediately got up and continued with the hunt.😂. #huntingdog #standardpoodle #funnyanimalvideos

Sunday morning mood when you own a Malinois
Who else has to pretend they are still asleep in the mornings. Peaches doesn’t sleep with me but if I ever move at all she pops up on the bed for early morning snuggles.

A pawsome day for a hike on through the woods, who needs a trail.
It was a beautiful day for a walk or slide through the woods. Who needs a trail? Thank goodness I didn’t slide down the hill on the slick leaves.

Teaching my mare to accept a saddle being lowered onto her back
I’ve been having a lot of back problems lately. I’ve already saddle that really helped my back when I was writing it. But the saddle was so heavy it was hard for me to throw it up onto her back. So are you devised a plan I’m pulling the saddle up into the rafters. Then I had to teach her to stand cross tied and watch me move the saddle. Then I turned her around so her back was under the saddle. Then slowly lowered it on to her back. It worked great and she did wonderful. Can’t keep a good cowgirl down.🤠
