building an air system for the grain vac to fill the wet bin!
so excited to have this done. in the past when i moved the auger from the wet bin to unloading the cropstore it would stop the combine for a week or more. now i can keep the wet bin full and if three truck loads come out of the cropstore i can run the dryer and empty the wet bin overnight so the next day i could refill it.

first time doing corn bales and it worked great. had to make a change to pickup height and slow down and then it was fantastic. fed one bale to the cows and the bull destroyed it. lol

60 inch corn results
this was a fun trial. i kept population, chemical, fertilizer the same and the only difference was the spacing. one theory behind the 60 inch is more cover crop growth for grazing credits. but the corn stover itself makes good grazing. so the grazing credits between the two trials would be pretty similar and the 30 inch made more money.
the other part of 60 inc is could we build a cover crop or living mulch system where we could have a perennial hay crop with legumes producing nitrogen for rotationally bringing a corn crop with no inputs then go right back to hay.
