Happy May! It's almost time for the poppies to make way for new veggies and herbs. They were beautiful this year. Squash and cucumbers are starting to sprout as well as some volunteer tomatoes. Yay!

The hens are helping weed the summer run today. We found our first radishes, turnips, and a bunch of lettuces. Thanks, ladies. 🐔

Our little potatoes are ready to harvest and Clover is giving a helping paw.

It's a beautiful overcast day in the garden. Clover the bulldog and I are plating more potatoes and the birds are singing while we do. There are so many seedlings starting to sprout. Our hens are back to laying their pretty blue eggs. So thankful for our little space.

So nice to play in the garden after a bunch of rainy days in a row. Our garden is happy!

The girls get to run around the garden for a bit while I get their coop ready for a series of storms we have coming.

Clover is sitting in the sun after a few rainy and cold days. The chickens are weeding for me this morning so I can plant some new goodies in the garden. I found baby strawberries. Zone 9b organic garden. Ameraucana laying hens.
