What a beautiful area.. great for spending a day or two enjoying everything in front of you.. mother natures superb

We drove from Dog Kennel Corner near Tekapo to Benmore Dam. An experience but not for the faint hearted. A long way, 4 wheel drive, beautiful views, no sign posts to help you and we went wrong way twice. Was great to get to Benmore. Toll gates at both ends of the road.

Mt Hutt has wide open terrain with leg burning runs, monster snowfalls and spectacular views over the Canterbury Plains.

A special place of cultural and historical significance to Moerakitaka and Ngai Tahu. This historic and still working lighthouse sits high above the Pacific Ocean and the walkway down to the coast where endangered Yellow-Eyed Penguins and Fur Seals can be viewed, is absolutely spectacular.

The lobster cage was checked first, we had a big harvest for today, and the Captain made us some fresh Sashimi with the caught fish.

The captain stops the boat and drops fish net and Lobster cage, what we need to do is just grab a drink and wait.

We left the shore as the day was dawning. What a great serenity on the sea.

The Rakaia Bridge is New Zealand's longest road bridge and crosses the Rakaia River, one of Canterbury's large braided rivers.

The Rakaia Gorge has such stunning scenery. Amazing blue green water offset against green bush, sitting boldly underneath an often snowy Mt Hutt. It is absolutely beautiful on a good day, but if it has rained, then the water is often grey, so do be aware of this before you walk the track.

Tiara head is world renown as the only mainland colony of albatross in the Southern hemisphere, However only see few of them in the video.

The view from the lookout point is absolutely mind-blowing

This is Lake Dunstan from Cromwell, which is known as the second-largest amount of grapevines, with 137 regional vineyards and growing.

Seagulls take advantage of the strong wind to stay in the air almost statically.

The video was taken in Otago Palmerston shag point. I waked up and walk out the motel room and captured this beautiful and peaceful scene.

The water is crystal clear, ducks floating on the surface and eels swimming beneath. Ducks and eels are living friendly to each other in Wanaka Lake.

After a long walking, we decided to take a break at the lookout point, and video this amazing view.

Mount Maunganui is also the name of the large lava dome which was formed by the upwelling of rhyolite lava about two to three million years ago. Mount Maunganui is located atop a sand bar that connects Mauao to the mainland, a geographical formation known as a tombolo. Because of this formation, the residents of Mount Maunganui have both a harbor beach (Pilot Bay) and an ocean beach with great surf, within a short distance. At the base of Mauao, the distance between the harbor and oceanside is a couple of blocks.

The little friendly rabbit is enjoying delicacies, does not mind I walked so closed to him.
