Mandatory evacuations were ordered Tuesday, March 3, as a wind-driven fire broke out along the Santa Ana River bottom in Norco. The Mann fire was reported at 9:51 a.m. and quickly grew from an estimated 10-to-15 acres to about 100 acres shortly after 11 a.m. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation. No home losses were reported. About 210 firefighters aided by three helicopters were fighting the fire.

The driver can be heard yelling while he kicked the horse in the head, “Come on, get up! Get up!” “Please stop kicking her, please,” said Knight. Knight pleaded with the driver, begging them not to kick the horse named “Tuesday,” but the driver told her to go away. “Do me a favor, do me a favor: Piss off,” the driver said to Knight. “She’s not lazy, she can’t get up,” Knight said in response.
