In this video, I will show you how to use inside and outside english to control the cue ball in pool. Inside english is when you hit the cue ball on the same side as the direction of the cut, and outside english is when you hit the cue ball on the opposite side. These types of spin can affect the cue ball’s path, speed, and throw when it contacts the object ball and the rails. I will demonstrate some examples of how to apply inside and outside english for different shots, and explain the advantages and disadvantages of each. I will also share some tips and drills to help you improve your cue ball control and position play with english.
