New suppressor range time 1/5/2024
First is the Ruger PCC, with nothing on, with a forward comp, and then with the Silencer Co. Hybrid 46. I had plugs and muffs on, so it was a bit difficult to hear subtleties. Even the suppressor didn’t seem all that much more quiet.
Next was the Tavor 7. First with comp that came with it, then with the Texas Silencer Company Hunter. I forgot to change the gas system from regular to suppressed. I could feel the difference, both in recoil and in the amount of gas, when I did switch it when I went to the Hybrid 46. The difficulty when I had the Hybrid 46 I account more to the brass catcher than the rifle or the gas setting.
Last was the Tavor. Because there is no adjustable gas, it is very gassy with a suppressor. Also, the manual bolt hood open is very awkward, which is why I took out the mag and put in an empty one for the last shot. Again, shooting like that, I cannot tell much of a difference with the suppressors.
The larger difference is in the weight, which would be more noticeable maneuvering.

The poor cycling may be from either being under gassed due to a break in period, or, I oiled it too much.
