Jeff Celentano Go Your Own Way Mondays Dark Las Vegas August 8th 2022
So exactly one week ago to the day, I had the opportunity to rock this little Fleetwood Mac classic for everyone's favorite local Vegas showbiz charity hang, MONDAYS DARK at The Space LV.
Here's my (very impromptu) take on "Go Your Own Way". It was my first solo appearance in a very long time and as a singer who doesn't move particularly well (at all), I was quite relieved when Kenny Davidsen let me commandeer his piano.
Who knows...maybe they'll have me back one day...
Hope ya' dig.
Guess I'm Dumb Brian Wilson Glen Campbell Piano Vocal Cover
Here's a simple little piano/vocal cover I quickly whipped up of an old Glen Campbell/Brian Wilson deep cut gem from '65 called "Guess I'm Dumb".
This is one of my favorite songs by anyone and I've always wanted to try my hand at it even without doing a full production.
I mainly did this for two reasons:
#1. See if I could get a nice vocal arrangement down.
#2. Test out this free little "audiogram" editor app.
Hopefully, this works on both fronts and I'll be able to do more of these with even bigger and better "production value" on the audio and video end of things.
Anway, hope everyone is good out there and if you happen to make this recording part of your day, I'll consider this little test mission a success.
As always, thanks for listening. Hope you dig.

New single "Hurt So Bad" by The Explorers Club available now.
Once again honored to lend a voice on another stellar track for The Explorers Club.
This time on a cover of the classic "Hurt So Bad" as made famous by The Lettermen.
This will be included on the upcoming album "Wattage" which will be coming out very soon.
Here's a short little clip but you can stream the complete single over on your favorite platform (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.)
Special thanks as always to Jason Brewer and Goldstar Recordings for continuing to invite me to the party.

"Airplane": Beach Boys Cover From The Loft Studios
A little homemade piano / vocal cover of the rare Beach Boys gem, "Airplane" from 1977's "Love You" album.
The Explorers Club on SiriusXM's "Carolina Shag Radio" cannel 701..
Well, would ya' look at that...
This cool little record I worked on for my buddy Jason Brewer's band The Explorers Club for their upcoming new album is starting to get some "airplay" on SiriusXM way down the dial on channel 701, otherwise known as, "Carolina Shag Radio".
This track is called "Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy" and features some awesome talent like the incredible Lannie Counts on lead vocals as well as my brother Jon Celentano on the tenor saxophone along with the great Probyn Gregory on trumpet.
As usual, the crazy high backing vocals are courtesy of yours truly.
If vintage 1960's soul is your kinda vibe and you're a SiriusXM subscriber, tune this station in. You just might dig it.
You can also check out the track on streaming the service of choice.
Your Network Equals Your Net Worth...How To Network The Right Way
Congratulations! You're looking to get out there and expand your social circle. That's awesome.
Now, you just gotta make sure you do it in a way that doesn't make you look weird, needy or worse!
It's important to always approach your networking by leading with value.
In other words, how can you be of service to the people you want to meet and not the other way around?
Get it wrong, and you'll be the one everyone avoids at the next event.
Get it right, and people will flock to be in your presence.
This video will show you a few ways to do just that and get you networking like a pro.

I Can Hear Music - Beach Boys Piano/Vocal cover
Things slowly seem to be opening back up. Including live entertainment.
Looking forward to getting back out there and seeing everyone on a more regular basis very soon.
The latest cover from the loft celebrates what we'll all be hearing as we begin gathering together again.
This was originally recorded by the Ronettes in 1966, and was made even more popular by The Beach Boys in 1969.
My version is based off the latter without all the densely layers signature vocal harmonies obviously.
Hope ya' dig and as always, feel free to offer up any suggestions and I'll consider tacking a swing at it.
Thanks and enjoy.
She Knows Me Too Well Beach Boys Piano Vocal Cover
Another piano/vocal cover from the loft this time with a deep cut from '65 for my fellow Beach Boys/Brian Wilson fanatics.
I'll never understand why tunes from this era were written and performed in these insanely stratospheric keys...
Hope ya' dig. Let me know if there are any others ya'll wanna hear and I might actually consider doing them....maybe.

Make You Feel My Love - Bob Dylan cover
Pretty safe to say this song has become a modern day standard in the last couple of decades.
Originally written and recorded by Bob Dylan for his "Time Out Of Mind" album in 1997 but was actually recorded and released on Billy Joel's Greatest Hits Volume 3 album a few months before Dylan released his version.
There are also a couple of great renditions recorded by Garth Brooks and Adele that hit the charts in 1998 and 2008 respectively.
My little home video version from the loft obviously isn't as polished as any of the above mentioned...but it's become a personal favorite in recent years so I thought I'd get this down for fun.
Here then is my very home made piano/vocal reading. Hope you dig and if you have any requests, let me know and I just might add it to the list for future videos.

Somebody's Baby - Jackson Browne cover
Today's featured jam from the loft is "Somebody's Baby" by Jackson Browne.
This classic of the yacht rock era was prominently featured on the soundtrack
to everyone's favorite teen comedy romp, "Fast Times At Ridgemont High".
The song reached #7 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in the summer of 1982
and would be Browne's last top 10 hit and the highest charting single of his career.
This version is nowhere near as good as the original but feel free to take a listen anyway!
As always, hope ya' dig and thanks for checking this out.

You Won't See Me - Beatles cover
Alright friends,
In between dispensing brilliant brain droppings on the state of the industry, it's important to know why we do it in the first place.
Here's the latest from the "loft sessions".
A little ditty made famous by those crazy lads from Liverpool, The Beatles.
One of my favorite tracks off the Rubber Soul album from 1965.
Hope ya' dig.

Back by (un)popular demand!
Another (very) homemade session from the studio loft.
Originally released in July 1981, produced by Elvis Costello(!), written and performed by the band Squeeze.
One of my all-time favorite early 80's jams.
Hope ya' dig.
