Norbert Heuser & Jeff Rense Show:
Tattoos had something disreputable. Harsh sailors, convicts and "wild tribes in the jungle" wore tattoos. But in fact - and what you might not know: There is hardly a culture that did not use this type of body decoration. Back then Charles Darwin wrote: "There is no nation on this planet that does not know this phenomenon."
In Europe it is the famous murder case in the Alps that proves this fact: the mummy of the man from a glacier, alias "Ötzi". He died about 5400 years ago in the mountains between Austria and Italy. His tattoos seem to have been a kind of therapeutic map. Egyptian mummies have tattoos and there are sculptures of tattooed people as burial objects. Indigenous people maintain these customs all around the world. Besides these mummified bodies, there is little evidence from ancient times, because the tattoos live and die with their wearer.
The purpose of tattoos is very different. In some cultures, the nobility not only adorned itself with precious weapons, equipment, clothing and buildings, the body also had to be decorated and marked with indelible symbolism. In contrast to the simple people - using simple symbols - highly paid champions engraved splendid tattoos. That certain symbols showed the descent, rank and origin - which were understood in initiated circles.
There were and still are mythical tattoos today, for example animal protection spirits for certain families in Tahiti.
Tattoos could also signal the belonging to a certain group. Sometimes as an honor for the initiated, but also since older ages as a stigma for outcasts, such as thieves, prisoners, or adulterers. Or as the property of a Lord. (SS number in the arm pit, concentration camp prisoners, slave maintenance or similar to a brand for animals). The importance of a tattoo oscillates between the award and the "badge of shame", therapeutic application and body decoration.
Ötzi, the man from the glacier, apparently wore therapeutic tattoos. In fact, it has already been found that the body forms more antibodies under tattoos, which can have a positive impact on inflammation, arthritis or degeneration. Tattoos do not simply remain in the epidermis without consequences, but have an impact until deep into the tissue.
Tattoos are socially acceptable today. There is body art for every taste: primitive-dilettant and artistically valuable tattoos. But while you used to have to fall back on a few natural dyes such as soot and ocher, customers today demand artistically demanding and correspondingly expensive tattoos and colors that shine intensely and in many shades.
The problem: These modern tattoo colors are largely poisonous. As beautiful as the pictures on the skin are, the dreams, fantasies or jewelry they represent, their wearers usually do not think about the unhealthy chemicals wich are injected under their skin and what effects they develop in the body. A study in the trade-journal “Contact Dermatitis” showed: Nine out of ten tattoo colors are not even sufficient for the legal regulations. 73 colors were checked, all of them were contaminated with chrome and nickel. Even mercury, arsenic, manganese, cobalt and lead were found in some of them. Copper was contained in green and blue colors, sometimes above the limit. Ba the way, many pigments were not designed and checked for insertion under the human skin, but developed for car paints or printer cartridges. In addition, some colors contain prohibited preservatives or nanoparticles, the effects of which have been researched. Some colors also disintegrate in the skin and what their decay products might do to your health, nobody knows .
As is known, many ingredients are theoretically carcinogenic or trigger allergies. Only a few studies deal with long-term health consequences. What happens to the tattoo colors as soon as they come into the middle skin layer and are metabolized there is hardly examined. The tattoo pin splashes the color up to three millimeters deep into the skin. Part of the colors hike into the lymph nodes via the lymphatic system, where they stain the lymph nodes, which are important centers of immune defense - and possibly envenom them. Where else these dyes get in the body and whether they represent a health risk is also unexplored.

Norbert Heuser Jeff Rense Show: Piercing is a sure way to harm your body
Like Tattoos, body piercings have a long history. Did you know, that Mayan royalties had their genitals and tongues pierced? Even during the prudish Victorian era, may women pierced their nipples. Pirecing indicated sexuality throughout history, rites of passage an ritual initiation, very similar to Tattoos. Body piercings have always been and still are common in tribal societies throughout Africa, Asia and South America. In the U.S., piercing became mainstream during the 1990s and today it is perhaps more popular than ever.
But piercings often cause a lot of problems arising. Doctors estimate, its one out of every five individuals. Some problems are only painful, some dangerous: Bleeding, scarring, jewelry allergies and the formation of keloids, which are thick overgrowths of scar tissue. But there are also serious complications like nerve damage, and sometimes they even affect internal organs or lead to sepsis. This is a potentially fatal illness that requires immediate medical attention. Even endocarditis occurs, a heart inflammation that can be life-threatening.
The piercing can infect you with hepatitis B and C during the procedure. Especially piercings in your mouth can cause tongue-swelling, drooling and painful difficulties during eating ... not very sexy. Still convinced, that piercing is cool?
Piercing your private parts may give you a look of savagery, but let me tell you: Many men with genital piercings experience grave complications. The "Prince Albert piercing" at the end of the penis – is associated with a narrowing of the opening for urine. Sometimes, new tracts are created that leak semen and urine. In some rare cases the penis even developes squamous cell carcinoma.
What piercings do to your body and health, even if you don't suffer these horrible damages, I will explain you in this informative and important talk with Jeff Rense.

Your Health has 17 Enemies (Part 1)
Health - that's a lifelong decathlon, says Norbert Heuser. Modern life is pleasant and full of seductions, but also full of dependencies, that we can hardly do without. However, many of them are anything but beneficial for our health.
Yes, we're living longer, he says, but actually we're just staying alive longer. Too many multimorbid people have been living in nursing homes for the last ten years, which one does not want to call "life". Ninety years and more in good health - yes! But how do you do that? Well, you just have to know what is important. You have to know the enemy in order to avoid or fight him. The biggest enemy is chronic stress.
Stress in itself is not a bad thing. It is a strategy developed by nature to catapult all the body's abilities from zero to 200% in one second in a moment of danger: fight or flee from the saber-toothed tiger? Many bodily functions are immediately brought to peak performance, while others are completely shut down in order to survive the situation. But that demands everything from our body. In the "old days", in our life in nature, that was fine. Once you have survived the danger, it is over, relief spreads, the body relaxes and repairs itself quickly. If you didn't get over it, it was over too, albeit for good.
Today, most of us live with diffuse constant stress and we are not built for that. The stress reactions leave no time for repair and recovery. Our body and our psyche are worn out and no longer regenerate. This is the reason and the gateway to cardiovascular diseases, cancer, irritable bowel syndrome, stomach ulcers, constant headaches, dizziness and much more.
In addition, there are the influences of the modern world. Everywhere we go there are electromagnetic fields: microwaves, WiFi, cell phones, GPS, smart meters, electrical appliances, smartphones, etc. They all emit frequencies that penetrate us just as they penetrate the walls of houses. The continuous bombardment of radiation is not without consequences.
Bad water is another enemy of your health. The tap water has been pushed through all kinds of equipment, plastic pipes and metal pipes. It may be clean, but it can no longer be compared to natural spring water. Its structure was shredded and damaged. It often comes from groundwater that is contaminated with sewage and chemicals from the fields (herbicides, pesticides) or from sewage treatment plants that contain drug residues that are not broken down in the sewage treatment plants.
Not even the air is clean anymore, especially not in the city. It's not just the exhaust fumes from the cars, but also from the factories, the heaters, the herbicides that are sprayed on the green spaces...
We need light and air and sunshine, but most people lack sunlight too. Who can afford to be outside a lot during the day? Without sun, we not only slip into a vitamin D deficiency. We need sunlight and the different light temperatures of sunlight throughout the day for our inner rhythm and the release of messenger substances and hormones. Blue light signals the pineal gland: It's day, be alert and active! Red afterglow light prepares the pineal gland for the release of the sleep hormone melatonin via the eyes and we become tired and sleepy. But what do we do? We are not outside at midday and get our portion of UV light to be fit and alert and to form vitamin D, but sit in offices with artificial light, the frequencies of which are not good for our retinas. We sit in front of the television or the computer in the evening and draw blue-heavy light into our brain, which completely throws the pineal gland and thus our hormone and messenger substance balance out of the day-night cycle. And wonder about insomnia.
Recognizing the enemies of your health is the first step. I can help you with that. I can give hints and tips on how to avoid them and protect yourself. A lot of things are so easy if you just know it. But then you have to implement it. Nobody can get well for you.
Norbert Heuser explains, informs and gives advice. And he works on solutions for your health and well-being. You want more information from Norbert? Feel free to contact him. The relevant expertise and documentations are published on his websites.
