Climate and the Bible - Ravi Chandran
We hear much about global warming and going green these days. The science of saving the planet by doing everything environmentally friendly, and recycling whatever is possible, has been rather controversial. While it is true that we must care for the environment, is it also true that sometimes these measures can be taken to an extreme. Some things being said and done by the environmentalists-gurus sometimes seem counterproductive. As Christians, what should our roles be in this rush to “save the planet”? Does the Bible have anything to say about it?
The book of Revelations has plenty to say about “global warming” compared to the current climate conditions. In fact, in Romans 8:19, Paul said that "For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed.” In fact, with the entrance of sin and the destruction of divine order, redemption will eventually restore the earth to the way things ought to be.
Learn more about saving the planet according to God’s plan VS humanistic virtue signaling. There will be a time for Q&A after the teaching to come prepared with your questions.

Globalization and the Bible - Ravi Chandran
Something fascinating is recorded in Genesis 11:1-9. Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. As people moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there. They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city. That is why it was called Babel —because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.”
This phenomenon, of mankind wanting to govern the earth God created, with no regard to the Creator, is not new. Nations and Kingdoms with that same intent have risen, and fallen, throughout history. The main agenda of the antichrist, in the last few days, will be the same. It is to usher in an era of one world government, one world monetary system, and one world religion. This new world order is currently going through a great reset. We as believers must be aware of what is happening, in order to continue to be the salt and the light of the earth effectively.

UFOs and the Bible - Ravi Chandran
We begin with a most intriguing phenomenon, where Ravi will preach a message entitled, “UFOs and the Bible”. While it is a topic to love, fear or loathe, cases of unidentified flying objects (UFO), or unidentified areal phenomena (UAE,) as currently known, are on the increase. Even mainstream media, let alone social media, have started discussing them, and the conclusions or conspiracy theories and rampant. The main questions remain: is there life on other planets? Are alien beings living there or among us today? What about the countless encounters of UFO or adduction claims, and do we have real evidence for this? Most importantly, is there any mention in the Bible concerning these phenomena?
The video includes a Q&A section, as you probably have more questions than answers. To be rest assured, God’s Word is the ultimate truth and you will be shocked, if not surprised, to find out that there we are not the only ones in the universe, and “flying saucers” (not exact words) are mentioned in the Bible. Surprised? Come find out, and ask all the questions you have.

30 years in Denmark - Ravi Chandran
This time, Ravi shares a story about "30 Years in Denmark" as it marks Ravi's and Lillian's 30th Anniversary of arriving in this land. In a short but exciting manner, he explains how God leads us in mysterious ways without being mystical. When God calls, He always directs, anoints, and provides. This truth is evident in the lives of all the biblical characters described in the Bible.

Spiritual Hotspots - Charles Dalton
This time, we have Charles Dalton from the UK as our guest speaker. Charles will be sharing a message titled "Spiritual Hotspots." We will trace this theme throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, encompassing everything from creation to the new creation.
“Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it,” said Jacob when he awoke from his dream. Genesis 28:16. Jacob was running away from a messy family situation but he discovered that God was there in the middle of the chaos.
Today we are called to be temples of the Holy Spirit, to bring God's presence to an often chaotic world.
Charles is no stranger to ICC. He is the former principal of an international school, Rygaards, in Copenhagen, and a faithful elder in his Brethren' congregation.
Charles has a gift of communicating complex matters in simplistic ways and has always inspired our congregation with his sermons and personal life experiences with God. He is a great bible expositor. ICC has enjoyed his sermons, and servanthood, over the years, and we thank God for the strong friendship, and fellowship we have established with him over the years.

How to be born again? - Ravi Chandran
This Sunday, on the 11th of June, ICC resumes regular Sunday services for children and adults. Ravi continues the series of messages on "The Sermon on the Mount." This time, we discuss the highly controversial topic of adultery.
In Matthew 5:27-30, Jesus said, "You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell."
Again, in a classical fashion, Jesus, God in flesh, explains clearly where the roots of the sin of adultery is, and the consequences of persisting in it. However, as we live in a world with a “definition crisis”, the word “adultery”, “lust”, and “hell” have been so redefined, to the point they can hardly even be recognized. What has changed? Has the Word of God changed or have we?
While the tendency to base our definition on a subject matter can so easily be determined by a search engine, “Pastor Google” or Teacher YouTube, and perhaps in future by a rewritten "AI Bible" that is “user" friendly, does that define God’s intend to solve the root cause of the matter? Who will be the judge at judgement day, GOD or artificial intelligence - let alone fallen human arrogance?
While many already have predetermined solutions to these complex matters, let us come to God this Sunday with a humble heart, to once again say, “help us to understand and obey you Word oh God.” Our God is not the author of confusion, but one who gives us a sound mind, through his irrefutable and absolute Word of Truth. Amen.

God factor: A reflection of God's factor in our daily lives - Kelvin Sam
This time, we have a guest preacher, Kelvin Sam, who is the pastor of Frikirke International Church, Aalborg. Kelvin is originally from Nigeria and he is married to Trine. They have two wonderful kids. He preaches about "The God Factor".
Life can sometimes feel meaningless, and this can be the case for many people because of their focus, or lack of direction. This feeling and sense of meaninglessness can manifest in the way in which we live, relate, and interact with the world around us.
It is often argued that life without God is devoid of purpose, whereas life with God can give meaning and significance to various life situations. Reflecting on God's presence can help individuals cope with the past, present, and future. How does your understanding of God manifest in your daily life and situations?

The Roots of Murder - Ravi Chandran
This time, Ravi continue with the series of messages from the Sermon on the Mount as we discuss the sensitive topic of "The Roots of Murder."
Jesus said in Matthew 5:21-26, “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,' is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First, go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift. “Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.”
He linked the roots of the sin of murder down to anger, hatred, unforgiveness, bitterness and rage. While the bible teaches us that anger is not sin, we are warned not to sin in our anger. There must be room for God’s righteousness and wrath to work justice. Come and learn how one of the 10 Commandments is expounded by Jesus, God in the flesh so that we can employ the help of the Holy Spirit to fulfil God’s will in our life.
Importance of the Cross - Ravi Chandran
In this video, Ravі discusses the importance of the cross in Christianity, particularly in relation to the Easter holiday. He addresses several key questions, including why Jesus rebuked Peter when he attempted to discourage Jesus from going to the cross, and how the cross represents both judgment of sin and God's love and sacrifice for humanity. Ravі also cautions against trying to make Jesus conform to cultural or religious expectations, and emphasizes that true power and change come from a personal relationship with Christ. Ultimately, the video serves as a reminder of the hope and salvation offered to believers through the resurrection of Jesus.

Light Effect in the Believers Life
The speaker, Charles Frimpong, shares his personal story of becoming born again in 1997 and becoming a pastor nine years ago. He then discusses the importance of light in the believer's life, referring to the Bible verses Acts 9:1-8, John 8:12, John 1:1-5, and John 9:5. He emphasizes the need for the light of God to shine in every darkness and how it can help believers overcome self-righteousness and arrogance. He shares the story of Paul's encounter with the light and how it changed him, and encourages listeners to let their own light shine forth to touch the hearts of others.

The Dangers of Half-Truths - Ravi Chandran
This time, Ravi will divert from the regular series, to share a topical sermon entitled, “The Dangers of Half-Truths”.
Ever wondered how deception works? The devil’s lies are not always deliberate falsity. In fact, he uses half the truth the distort the full truth. This was the method he employed with Adam, and Eve, in the Garden of Eden, and even with Jesus, during His fasting. These are the exact methods employed today via cults, occults and even false doctrines in the church of Jesus Christ.
The question is, can we detect falsity, especially when it is misled with half-truths? Jesus said, we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free. The greatest deliverance one can receive today is to be liberated by the truth. Sadly, from the religious teachers of Jesus’ time to date, there are those who remain bound by falsity, by refusing to come to the light of the true Gospel message.
Just as Paul warned the believers of his day via his letters, Jesus also warned the end-time churches in the book of Revelation, to expose deception, and be disentangled from it.

Persecution - Ravi Chandran
Matthew 5:10-12 says, "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way, they persecuted the prophets before you.”
While persecution is not something we often hear about, especially in the Western hemisphere, it is a daily reality for many believers worldwide. In fact, the New Testament has more to say about persecution than prosperity - not surprisingly. We read about it in the Gospels, the Book of Acts, the Epistles and all the way to the book of Revelations.
Today, there are believers around the world who literally lose their life, just because they believe in Jesus. Jesus said in John 15:20, "Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.”
We'd like you to come and find out what persecution actually means, as opposed to incurring resistance due to foolishness. There is a massive difference between the two, and it is a blessing to be persecuted, and unwise to incur wrath due to foolishness.

Biblical Peace and Comfort - Ravi Chandran
This Sunday, Ravi sharing a message entitled “Biblical Peace and Comfort” as we reflect on two very vital qualities provided by God for believers in our ongoing Christian pilgrimage.
It is common to believe that peace is the absence of trouble, and comfort as some “fluffy” thought or feeling. On the contrary, the Scriptures’ understanding of peace and comfort is literally, “out of this world”. It comes from the Holy Spirit of God, through Jesus.

Pure in Heart - Ravi Chandran
We continue on the theme of the Sermon of the Mount by looking at Matthew 5:8, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.."
Is it possible for sinners, whose hearts are wicked by default, to have a pure heart, let alone see God? Jesus came into the world for that very purpose: to pay the debt He did not owe and rescue us from the debt we could not pay. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. When one surrenders to the drawing of the Holy Spirit to respond to God’s call to salvation, He saves us, sanctifies us, and purifies us so that we can see God. Jesus made that astounding statement to Philip, “If you see me, you have seen the Father.”
What does it mean to have a pure heart? How is this pure heart formed? How we can see God, who desires to dwell among us? Immanuel, the Son of God, is still inviting us today.
