Shop Dog Garage #Shorts 6
Lots of 67 Camaro parts to dissamble! Have them moved to my shop so ShopDog can help!
The RocketShip 67 Camaro Ep 2: Just a ramblin' man!
In this video, the RocketShip gets a little more dissasembly, and we discuss a few things. I may or may not ramble a bit at the end!
78 Camaro project part17: There is always something unexpected!
We had no idea this would take so long! We ordered the shock relocate from POL, and it would have been a lot easier in an early second gen. They obviously never fitted this kit to a later one! Luckily we had a 70 Camaro to look at, because these instructions did not really work well with the 78 Camaro. On the upside, these framerails are BEEFY! We had to replace some of their hardware because it was not long enough!

1978 Ford Courier Episode 14 : Looks like another change order!
Harlan has decided that the MSD box has failed one too many times in this rig, so it's out of here! We will go to a simple Ingitor II setup, which should work reliably for years. This does make the wiring work a bit more complicated than it already was!
The RocketShip 67 Camaro Ep 1: A funny thing happened...
The RocketShip is apart again! I was not planning on making a series out of this, because we were just changing a windshield, but it has spiraled out of control like these projects always do! We have had this car since 2005 or 2006, and it has been a great platform for modification. At some point I will put together a complication video of some older pictures.
Notes:
While we call this car an RS/SS, it was originally a plain jane 6cyl base car when new. It was half updated when we bought it. We make NO CLAIM that this is an original RS/SS Camaro. Oh, and it has a modfied LS1/T56 and a built 74 10 Bolt rear. With 408hp at the wheel, it is a very fun toy. We have driven this car on Power Tour many times, and it has been pretty reliable.

66 Pontiac Catalina Wagon part 99: With lots of snow! [Re-Upload]
{Sorry, something happened with the original and it got truncated. Here is the full video...}
The corrected brake pedal works, but we seem to have a hard time pushing the master. We are going to learn a few things. Also, the dashpad is almost finished!
66 Pontiac Catalina Wagon part 100: A Car is Born!
In this incredibly exciting video, the Pontiac starts to really come together. We figured out what Master Power Brakes could not tell us, solved some fitment issues, figured out how to install that huge dash, and put the hood back on! Diesel even painted the air cleaner! Lots of work this week!
1978 Ford Courier Episode 13 : Looks like it all fits!
What can I say, it looks like the electric water pump, electric fan, and the new alternator bracketry will all play nice with one another! ShopDog delivers again!
78 Camaro project part16: A night of disappointment and learning
Well, on the upside we are going to relocate the rear shocks! On the downside, we are going to relocate the rear shocks... Still, this does mean a wider tire, and we will get it sorted!

1978 Ford Courier Episode 12 : Time to drill!
Back to work on the Courier! Had to cleanup the timing cover and also find a location for the temp sender. Like almost all projects, I had to drill and tap for it, but that is okay.

66 Pontiac Catalina Wagon part 98: Figured out the brake issue!
Sorry this is so short, but a lot going on!
We finally figured out the funny feel of the brakes. Looks like they never did the full conversion, only part of it, and we just did not know about the higher pedal mount point and longer power brake pedal assembly!

1978 Ford Courier Episode 11 : Lets design some brackets!
Turns out we could not put the alternator where we thought it was going to go, so it was time to design our own solution! Got the plates sent off to SendCutSend, and can't wait to get them. Since we are using steel, I did go with 3/8 for the mount plate, and 1/4 for the adjustment arm. Also made a bunch of spacers out of Aluminum. This was a long, confusing project, but I like the final design a lot!

78 Camaro project part15: Of Camaros and gravity
We work on my 67 Camaro (The Rocketship) and the 78 in this video. We peeled a windshield and back glass, and made a bit of a mess. I also forgot just how heavy the center section of a Ford 9" is! We did finally get it in, but it tired me out and strained my back!

1978 Ford Courier Episode 10 : Lets take it apart!
Just started the disassembly of the 78 Courier. The adapted water pump it had on it was just not doing the job, and we need better airflow. It will be interesting to see how I solve the alternator location issue, as well as the mounting on the Davies Craig electric water pump kit. The new Spal fan will make a huge difference based on our experience.

1978 Ford Courier Episode 9 : She starts again!
We have shown and worked on this truck in many other videos, but it was starting to take up too much of the 78 Camaro videos. We decided to go ahead and re-start this video project! Welcome to Episode 9

66 Pontiac Catalina Wagon part 97: Time for another drive!
We are closing in on winter, and this project is getting close to complete! Little details to work on while Pixie learns interior work.
The Distributor gear section we shot for this video was too long, so I moved it into its own video:

Random & Interesting Episode 12: Distributor Gear Failure
If anyone has any idea how this happened, please let us know below! This video is the promised update on the Bent69 from a Catalina Wagon video. Three teeth sheared off of the MSD Mellonized Distributor gear, and it is mated to a Lunati roller cam. I do not understand this failure, and unfortunately we will have to wait until next year to really look further into how this failed, and what damage is done. We did get the engine running with another distributor temporarily, and we will continue to learn more as we can. I am getting worried for the car hobby community as we see more videos based on parts failures, and it takes some of the joy out of building custom cars.

78 Camaro project part14: Another random night!
We struggle with the Courier, but do get back to the Camaro suspension work. Always fun trying to put something together that is custom! Hopeful that the shocks in the rear work out nicely for us.

66 Pontiac Catalina Wagon part 96: Sensors work, and the Bent 69 doesn't
This was a rather unusual day! We got the sensors wired in and calibrated, and they seem to work, but we also received a broken car! The distributor gear on the Bent 69 broke, several teeth went AWOL and the cam ground it down. Unbelievably, we were able to get other distributors to just drop in and mesh with the cam, so we installed an HEI, made a few mods, and got the car home! Looks like that is another thing we need to deal with in the spring! New parts failing seems to be the state of automotive YouTube right now. It also turns out the timing cover is still leaking, so I guess we are just going to replace that Edelbrock one with a regular GM timing cover.
