This was a walk at the bottom end of Cowanesque Lake. The debris holds back from coming downstream. The east end use to be called Elkland PA.

It was a great day in the northeast today had to go for a walk about three miles short, I know I have a lot more of that walk have to edit it all first 1

Tompkins Campground is on the north shore of Cowanesque Lake in the northern tier of Pennsylvania, less than one mile from the New York state border.

Cowanesque Lake is the largest lake in Tioga County, providing 1085 acres of great fishing offers a diverse fishery with trophy-sized tiger muskellunge and purebred muskellunge, as well as great smallmouth and largemouth bass, perch, crappies, catfish, walleyes, and purebred striped bass.

Cowanesque Dam was completed in 1980. The Lawrenceville Pa Residents love having the dam around as from time to time it,s show us how it holds water back a lot from water coming downstream and released when the water when grounds can handle it.

This Corps project located near the New York state line in North Central Pennsylvania provides a 1,085-acre lake with 17 miles of shoreline for use by campers and day-trippers. Last night was a different story for the lake as the water got to be too much for it to keep open, the campers were forced to leave not by the crop but by water.
