THE LITTLE CATS CUTS FROM THE MOST WATCHED VIDEO CUTS
5 SIGNS YOUR CAT NEEDS MORE PLAYTIME
Known as "The Cat Therapist," Wilbourn co-founded the first feline-only veterinary practice in New York City in 1973, and has since traveled the world helping clients better understand their pets. Here, she translates our kitties' cues for play.
HE'S EXTRA-NEEDY
Is your cat meowing as you read this? Pawing at your leg? Draping himself across your laptop, perhaps? Some cats are upfront about their need for attention, and these are signs that a good play session may be in order. Although this "needy" behavior can be annoying, there's a reason he's being so persistent-cats need engaging, interactive, energetic play as much as dogs. As lovely as a nap on the windowsill may be, it doesn't make for a very interesting day. "Indoor cats simply don't have the kind of life and entertainment that an outdoor cat has,"
If your cat is the frisky, forward type, pretty much any toy will do. "You can pick up and throw anything for a cat who really wants to play,.
To create a more stimulating environment, consider spicing things up with cat tunnels, a cat tree, and cat perches. Not only will your kitty appreciate it, but you may be able to read or surf the web in peace.
HE'S EXTRA-STANDOFFISH
On the other hand, a cat who isn't enjoying enough playtime may make himself scarce. "Some cats will go to the other extreme and sulk or look dejected," While it's important not to force play on your cat-perhaps he's had his fill for the day, or maybe he's craving some alone time-your grumpy cat may simply be bored. Treat him to something special, such as a game of fetch with a catnip-stuffed mouse toy, to get him to come around.
HE'S PACKING ON THE POUNDS
If your cat is tipping the scales, he may require more playtime and fewer snacks. Many cat owners substitute food for play, creating unhealthy habits. "If your cat is annoying you, it's much easier to just put food down than to play, "Then, when the cat wants attention, he starts going to the food dish instead of you-it's instant gratification."
First things first: Consult with your veterinarian to devise an appropriate diet for your overweight kitty, and to rule out any underlying medical conditions.
Then, introduce more interactive play into your cat's day. Feline foodies may especially enjoy treat-dispensing toys and puzzles. Not only do they incorporate a little exercise into mealtime, but they force cats to eat slowly instead of gobbling down dinner.
HE'S SCRATCHING YOUR FURNITURE
There's nothing more deadly to a couch than a cat with too much energy. Skimp on the play sessions, and your furniture may suffer.
"If cats aren't getting enough play, it can affect their wholemodus operandi, and their usual habits can change, "They can become destructive and aggressive because they have all of this bottled-up energy. "Even the most deluxe cat toys are far cheaper than replacing your sectional. Invest in a variety of furry mice, wand toys, roller balls, and textured playthings to keep your kitty engaged. And be sure to provide scratching posts that are more interesting than your chairs. Quality, sturdy posts in a variety of sizes should satisfy your cat's natural need to claw.
HE'S ATTACKING YOUR ANKLES
Your cat's wild ancestors spent large portions of their days hunting for food-and old habits die hard. "Even though our cats are very domesticated, they still have wild instincts," . "In the wild, cats aren't served food, and they're all born with the desire to hunt." A cat who can't entertain his inner predator will find somethingto hunt,

EASTERN ITAFORT ITANAGAR ARUNACHAL PRADESH, INDIA
EASTERN ITAFORT ITANAGAR ARUNACHAL PRADESH
Ita Fort in Itanagar town, is one of the most important historical sites in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, India. The name literally means “Fort of bricks”was built as early as the 14th or the 15th century. On hearing the name of Arunachal Pradesh, the first thing that comes in our mind is Mountains, monasteries, gompa, lush greenery, snow capped mountain. But do you know, Arunachal Pradesh is equally rich in cultural heritage.
1.The traces of political and cultural forces from Bramhaputra valley extending into the hills under which fall the ruins of forts, temple, ponds and ruins
2.The structure of Buddhist culture in the form of monastery, gompas and stupas
3.The stray traces of past events from the local history.
The Ita Fort excavated in the year of 1977 and it is said to be built between 1350 and 1450 AD during the periods of Muslim invasion on Assam. Ita fort has been identified with Mayapur which was the capital of King Ramachandra, the last king of Jitari dynesty in 11th century. However, there is a controversy regarding the date and builder of the Ita fort. Lila Gogoi, an authority on the Buranjis (a class of historical chronicles and manuscripts written initially in the Ahom) of Assam, reveals the fact that Ita Fort was built by the Ahom King Chakradhwaj Simha in 1688 A.D.
Photo of Ita Fort - An Important Historical Site of Arunachal Pradesh by Bongyatri - Sourav and Anindita, The ruins of Ita Fort reflect that the entire complex is indeed a meticulously planned work and a monumental task. The stone work of the Ita Fort covers an area of 45 cubic meters and around 80 lakhs of bricks were required to erect the structure of the fort during that era. The eastern gate is built on stone masonry, overlooks Doimukh in the Dikrang valley. This gate is heavily damaged. The southern gate is built largely in brick and limited use of stone, stone-slabs, animated and floral designs were used for the door ways. Though the doors are completely lost, from the orientation of the gate the purpose is clear that is to check the enemy from Gohpur and Ramghat in the south. The ruins at the gate reveals that comparatively less defence rrangements existed in this area. Itanagar Lilabari Airport is the nearest Airport to Itanagar. From the airport, it is 72 KM and will take 2.5 hour to reach Itanagar. The nearest railway station is Naharlagun which is only 18 KM far from Itanagar.
You are in the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. So, there are numerous number of stay options in the market area from various range. I am mentioning very few of them. But keep faith on me that you will get much better option for accommodation on spot and at cheap rate.

Elephant Delievery
THE LIFE SPAN OF ELEPHANTS Elephants are known for their majestic size and resilience. In fact, elephants live longer than any other land mammal, except for man. Unfortunately, a number of factors affect the life span of elephants, Asian elephants live for up to 86 years, which makes them one of the longest-living land mammals. WILD ELEPHANTS Elephants can live up to 70 years in the wild. The truth, however, is that few reach that age. According to a 2008 study published in the journal "Science," African elephants live a median of 56 years in the wild, while Asian elephants live about 41.7 years. The shorter life span is due to poaching or illegal hunting for ivory or other uses, destruction of habitat and drought. Elephants in Captivity, the elephant is an exception. According to an article in National Geographic News, elephants in zoos live shorter lives than elephants in the wild. And the differences are pretty significant as well: an average of 17 years in a zoo against 56 in the wild. Although scientists are not sure why this happens, two possible reasons are obesity -- and the health issues this carries -- as well as the stress of captivity. FACTORS AFFECTING LIFESPAN OF WILD ELEPHANTS Illegal poaching is a serious threat to the life of wild elephants. Male elephants are hunted primarily for their tusks, but both males and females are also hunted for other reasons as well. According to organization Ele Aid, Asian elephants are also killed for medicinal use and for their hide, which in Asia is used to make high-end furnishings. Destruction of habitat happens in both Asia and Africa, as humans expand cities into the elephants' territories or eliminate sources of water. Elephants are highly social animals, and the stress of captivity often results in shortened life spans. In the wild, elephants also move constantly, migrating for miles throughout the year. The confined spaces they must live in when captive also causes them a great deal of stress.. The herpes virus has also been the cause of deaths of many Asian elephants in captivity. This is because captive Asian elephants are often infected with a lethal form of the herpes virus contracted from African elephants. WHAT ANIMAL HAS THE LONGEST PREGNANCY? Elephants have the longest gestation period of all mammals. These gentle giants' pregnancies last for more than a year and a half. The average gestation period of an elephant is about 640 to 660 days, or roughly 95 weeks. By comparison, a human pregnancy lasts an average of 280 days, or 40 weeks. Female elephants live for 60 to 70 years, but only have about four offspring throughout their lifetime. Although elephants usually only carry one baby at a time, one to two percent of elephant births produce twins. When an elephant gives birth, the other elephants in the herd form a protective circle around the mother during the delivery .

3.Flamingo - It has a very long neck, long pink legs and webbed pink feet with three toes. It has a large hooked bill with a black tip that is curved down. Males and females look alike, although the male is a little larger. The flamingo is a filter feeder and it is uniquely adapted for feeding.
4. Northern Oriole - Medium-sized, sturdy-bodied songbird with a thick neck, long legs, and pointed bill. Adult males have an entirely black head and back with an orange rump and orange outer tail feathers.
5. Rainbow Lorikeet - The Rainbow Lorikeet is unmistakable with its bright red beak and colourful plumage. Both sexes look alike, with a blue (mauve) head and belly, green wings, tail and back, and an orange/yellow breast. They are often seen in loud and fast-moving flocks, or in communal roosts at dusk.

THE ALDABRA GOLIATH TURTLE IS A MONSTER TYPES OF TURTLE LOCAL TO THE ALDA IN THE INDIAN SEA
THE ALDABRA GOLIATH TURTLE IS A MONSTER TYPES OF TURTLE LOCAL TO THE ALDA IN THE INDIAN SEA.
Physical Description
Aldabra tortoises' carapace has a small neck plate usually visible, a feature absent in other species of giant tortoises. The males have a concave plastron that aids in mating. They are dark gray to black in color with a highly domed, thick carapace. They have long necks, which helps with food gathering. The hind legs are cylindrical and columnar like those of an elephant; thick, often bony scales cover them. The toes are short and two-jointed. The head is relatively small, pointed and covered by scales.
Size
Aldabras are one of the world's largest land tortoises. Males are considerably larger than females and have longer, thicker tails. The male's carapace length can measure 4 feet (1.22 meters) and they can weigh up to 550 pounds (250 kilograms). The female's carapace can measure 3 feet (91 centimeters) and can weigh 350 pounds (159 kilograms). An Aldabra tortoise weighing 672 pounds (305 kilograms) is the world's largest free-roaming tortoise ever recorded.
Native Habitat
They are found on Aldabra Island, one of the Seychelles northeast of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. They were apparently introduced to Mauritius and Reunion Islands. The tortoises live in habitats such as scrub, mangrove swamp and coastal dunes. The largest concentration of tortoises is found in the grasslands called platins.
Food/Eating Habits
This tortoise is the largest animal on the Aldabra Island atoll. It fills a similar role to the one occupied by elephants in Africa and Asia. Small trees and shrubs to obtain nutritious leaves. Seeds pass through the tortoise's digestive tract and eventually become food for many other species.
Aldabra tortoises are able to go without food or water for long periods. They are grazers and browsers, feeding mainly on grasses and woody plants. However, they will eat meat when it is available and possibly even eat the carcasses of dead tortoises. They may also eat feces.
Lifespan
They can reach ages of more than 100 years. It is believed that tortoises are the longest lived of all animals although is hard to prove because they have outlived the scientists who were studying them, and proper records were not kept. The Aldabra tortoises on exhibit at the Smithsonian's National Zoo are about 80 years old. This is a guess because they arrived at the Zoo as adults. One pair arrived in 1956 and the second in 1976.

TOP TEN RISKY FISH
TOP TEN RISKY FISH
1.PUFFER FISH - Pufferfish can inflate into a ball shape to evade predators. Also known as blowfish, these clumsy swimmers fill their elastic stomachs with huge amounts of water (and sometimes air) and blow themselves up to several times their normal size. Some pufferfish species also have spines on their skin to ward off predators.
2.RED LION FISH - Red lionfish are native to the reefs and rocky crevices of the Indo-Pacific, although they've found their way to warm ocean habitats worldwide. The largest of lionfish can grow to about 15 inches in length, average is closer to 1 foot.
3.CANDIRU - The candiru, sometimes known as the “penis fish,” is a small Amazonian catfish. It's reported to lodge itself in the urethra of people who may be urinating in the water. Despite the unsettling stories surrounding this fish, there's skepticism about whether the fish actually attacks humans.
4.GREAT WHITE SHARK- White sharks are large bulky fishes with a body shaped like a blunt torpedo. They have a sharply pointed conical snout, large pectoral and dorsal fins, and a strong crescent-shaped tail. Only the belly of white sharks is whitish. They have a contrasting pattern of dark blue, gray, or brown on their back and sides.
5.MORAY EEL - Moray eels are very colorful. They can be black, gray, brown, yellow, green, blue, orange, or white. All these colors can appear as stripes, spots, or some other pattern on the eel. Some moray eels, such as the banded moray eel, can even change their colors to better camouflage.
6.TIGER FISH - Like the piranha, individual tigerfish have interlocking, razor-sharp teeth, along with streamlined, muscular bodies, and are extremely aggressive and capable predators who often hunt in groups. The African tigerfish is the first freshwater fish recorded and confirmed to attack and catch birds in flight.
7. PIRANAH - Most species of piranha never grow larger than 60 cm (2 feet) long. Colours vary from silvery with orange undersides to almost completely black. These common fishes have deep bodies, saw-edged bellies, and large, generally blunt heads with strong jaws bearing sharp, triangular teeth that meet in a scissorlike bite.
8.STONE FISH - Usually are a mottled greenish-brown in colour with its skin having many stone-like appendages which gives it an almost perfect camouflage against the background it prefers. The most striking feature of this species is its spine of 13 grooved hypodermic-like projections, each capable of piercing a sandshoe.
9. ATLANTIC MANTA - Manta rays are recognized by their large diamond-shaped body with elongated wing-like pectoral fins, ventrally-placed gill slits, laterally-placed eyes, and wide, terminal mouths.
10. ELECTRIC EEL - The electric eel has a slender, snake-like body and flattened head. Its thick, scaleless skin is generally dark gray to brown, and its underside is a yellow-orange color. Similar to other eel shaped fish, the electric eel lacks pelvic fins. It has a small, or reduced, caudal fin and also lacks dorsal fins.
