Alpha-3 last commute before WFH...
This was the last day returning home before the whole COVID "flatten the curve" deal started back in early 2020...
Alpha Three first commute to work... all out! 50mph cruise.
This was the first time I ever rode Alpha Three to work, it was a great time, but little I knew the finished cockpit and a lot of other hidden problems were lurking its development. It would take another year to get all the problems ironed out, and the cockpit built...

Alpha Three top of first gear... 50 mph
This was the first night Alpha Three was operational... it would take one more year after this video to sort some of the teething problems on the design... but A-3 still rides to this day... it is the fastest trike I've built to date...

Alpha One and Alpha Two riding at night...
This video was taken shortly after Alpha Two was fully electrified... at the time it didn't have the Cyclone 3000W motor, yet... only a small brushed 24V motor... but it worked...

Cyclone 3000W mid-drive eBike kit overview and power mod
This is a quick tour of my new Cyclone 3000 Watt ebike, and a short demo on how to unlock the full potential of your Cyclone 3000 Watt kit. Doing this will unlock the motor acceleration and RPM limit to whatever the controller.

Proof of concept work for robot animation and weaponry...
This was a quick proof of concept work I made before starting to work the other larger video. I developed several ways to fire the weapons on the robots and to cause procedural destruction without needing any plugins on 3DS max.

Alpha Three one year and a half later...
The cockpit was finally built, with a 7.1 inch tablet and a 5 inch phone (on the lef), VHF/UHF radio, audio system... all the transmission issues that plagued the design have been resolved by now; the top speed in first gear was increased to 55 mph from 50 mph, but at the expense of efficiency at lower speeds... and I was going to reduce 1st gear top speed to 45 mph, but COVID came and I haven't really driven Alpha Three much since then... is just sitting on the garage on a tender for its internal batteries. I also had plans to paint it all silver, but again, hasn't been used much since its been sitting so... we'll see if it gets painted next summer.

Amazing electric trike at 60 mph
This is my car replacement trike, and here is a short clip of me during my commute from work. I was cruising at 30 MPH on when I decided to punch it, and got it up to 57 mph. What an exhilarating experience. This amazing trike can do 60+ miles on a charge at 30 mph cruise speed without any pedaling; of course you can also pedal and that will extend the range. Takes about 3 hours for a full charge.

Cyclone 3000W mid-drive electric trike Overview... (aka the Batmobile)
UPDATE: Nov-17th-2020 Alpha One still runs to this day, but Alpha Three has taken its place as primary ride.
UPDATE: Apr-11th-2018 marked the two year anniversary of A-1. It now has 9000 miles on the clock, and pretty much trouble free operation during the period... It looks a bit different than it did during its early days, but still works.
This my electric trike; my friends and coworkers say that if batman was to ride a trike he would ride this trike, the Batmobile trike... so its pretty cool. It can do 60 mph and cruise for over 60 miles without pedaling at 30 mph. Takes about 3 hours for a full charge. This video is a short overview of the trike before its first run.
Thanks.

Cyclone 3000W mid-drive eBike kit running on full unlocked mode #3
This footage is from the dash cam I run on my eBike during my commute to work. This is to give an idea of what performance to expect out of the Cyclone 3000W with the #3 mode enabled. As you can see it doesn't really need to be shifted much as the motor spins really fast. If you're wondering, most of the trip is at 30mph. BTW, I am not pushing the bike on this video... I shifted from 4th gear to 5th gear a couple of times but only to maintain 30mph cruise. Bike can go faster, just not for commute when I need range. This is using a 10speed shimano HG-62 11-36T casette and a 48T chainring.
I'll take another video with a helmet cam so the Cycle Analyst can be shown.
Bike setup and how to unlock mode # 3 in another video:

The MB-X (STX-1) helicopter.
I proposed, designed and built (and piloted) this helicopter for a former company that I no longer work for. At the company we named it the STX-1, but to me the name of this helicopter was and always will be the MB-X: The 10th and the most awesome helicopter I've built to date. I was the pilot of this beauty too (and the only guy at work who was qualified to actually fly it), so it was really awesome to get research money to build this baby and to fly it.
The MB-X started life as a large RC helicopter kit, a 700 class helicopter to which I performed a lot modifications to make it a lot more capable. I opted to use a quad-blade rotorhead and a quad tail, a proved design from my previous helicopter builds. In the electronics department it is equipped with a Dual Core Intel CPU connected to an internal LAN setup with WiFi to remote pilot the helicopter. It also has a sensor suite included, from GPS to a camera. The system also sports a 900mhz downlink and an autopilot that could be used for long flights. It was built with enough processing power to accommodate a variety of AI programming languages.
Will miss you MB-X, farewell.
