Clair de Lune 4K Version - Moon Images from NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter
This visualization uses a digital 3D model of the Moon built from global elevation maps and image mosaics by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter mission. It was created to accompany a performance of Claude Debussy's Clair de Lune by the National Symphony Orchestra Pops, led by conductor Emil de Cou, at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, on June 1 and 2, 2018, as part of a celebration of NASA's 60th anniversary. Clair de Lune (moonlight in French) was published in 1905, as the third of four movements in the composer's Suite Bergamasque, and unlike the other parts of this work, Clair is quiet, contemplative, and slightly melancholy, evoking the feeling of a solitary walk through a moonlit garden. The visuals were composed like a nature documentary, with clean cuts and a mostly stationary virtual camera. The viewer follows the Sun throughout a lunar day, seeing sunrises and then sunsets over prominent features on the Moon. The sprawling ray system surrounding Copernicus crater, for example, is revealed beneath receding shadows at sunrise and later slips back into darkness as night encroaches. Space Shuttle Launch Audio - play LOUD (no music) HD 1080p

You need a sound system with a lot of power and a great sub (turned up to house shaking level) to get the right effect of this video. I made this for all the people who dreamed of seeing a launch in person but were never able to make the trip themselves.
Using dozens of different video sources and countless audio versions of Shuttle launches I mixed this little clip together to mimic as close an experience to the real thing as I could. I know that the exact sequence of countdown events is somewhat compressed and not time-accurate but I was going more for the 'feel' of a high energy launch experience rather than a technical documentary. Throttle Up and SRB Separation are sounds as might be heard from onboard acoustic transducers picking up resonant vibration in the vehicle's structure.
Please take care not to damage your sound equipment during playback. I did not do anything to boost the low frequency roar of the Shuttle during liftoff but the SRB and SSME thrust noise may be taxing to even high quality sub-woofers and speaker cones if played too loud.
For those who sit through the last few frames you can catch a glimpse of my home theater system I built a couple of years ago. This video really is best viewed at 165 inches or better!

📼Video Summary:
The Soyuz is a Russian Spacecraft that can fit a crew of 3. It is launch aboard a rocket which is called the Soyuz Rocket. It's launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The rocket is assembled horizontally, then transported by rail, and then lifted up to the launch pad. The support trusses hold the rocket in place and the umbilical tower provides fuel and electricity. Parts of the rocket include 3 stages, the launch shroud, and then at the top is the Launch Escape Tower with the Stabilizing Grid Fins. For the launch, the crew members will wear Sokol Spacesuits. The commander is in the center and two Flight Engineers will be on either side. The Zero-G Indicator will float once they are in orbit - this only takes about 9 minutes. Rendezvous and Docking is how catch up with and attach to the International Space Station (ISS). Coming back to earth involves Undocking, De-orbit burn, Re-entry, and Touchdown on land.

Apollo 13 Views of the Moon in 4K Moon and Earth
This video uses data gathered from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft to recreate some of the stunning views of the Moon that the Apollo 13 astronauts saw on their perilous journey around the farside in 1970. These visualizations, in 4K resolution, depict many different views of the lunar surface, starting with earthset and sunrise and concluding with the time Apollo 13 reestablished radio contact with Mission Control. Also depicted is the path of the free return trajectory around the Moon, and a continuous view of the Moon throughout that path.
