As 2021 draws to a close, the FAIRtax Guys take one more look back at our fallen colleague Ron Maiellaro with the hope that his life will inspire others to take up the fight to replace the Federal income tax with the FAIRtax. Then, the Guys present the 2021 Tax Proposal Hall of Shame. These are the craziest, the most inexplicable and in some cases, the funniest things the Congress Critters want to put into the tax code. Pointing out the insanity of the current system is one of the best arguments that we can make that the only way to fix the income tax is to replace it with the FAIRtax.

Of all the candidates who have signed the FAIRtax Candidate Pledge, Martin Etwop may have the most compelling story of all. Born in Uganda, Martin is now running for Congress, partly because he sees America turning into Uganda and he's determined to stop it. In this interview with FAIRtax Guy Bob Scarborough, Martin details how the FAIRtax fits into his vision to keep America the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Thomas Watercott is running for Congress in North Carolina's seventh district.
