Japan says North Korea's repeated missile launches "absolutely unacceptable"
Japan has lodged a strong protest against North Korea over its latest missile launch. On Nov 9, Pyongyang launched a short-range ballistic missile into the East Sea -- also known as the Sea of Japan -- from the western town of Sukchon. Japan's coast guard said the projectile seemed to have dropped into the sea just minutes after the launch was reported. It appeared to have plunged near North Korea's eastern coast, but outside of Japan's exclusive economic zone. Tokyo said the North's repeated missile launches are "absolutely unacceptable".
