Playful parrot threatens to get you!
Einstein plays a game of "I'm gonna get you" with his owner. He might sound menacing but don't worry, it's a harmless game and he wouldn't do you any harm.

Einstein the Parrot demonstrates use of voice inflection
It has been reported that 70% of communication is body language, 23% is voice tone and inflection, and only 7% is the spoken word. Einstein has mastered inflection in his use of the word “alright”. In the first example he uses it to express concern. The second he is expressing reassurance. Finally, the third is a humorous example that sounds very much like a Matthew McConaughey impersonation!

Parrots are also expensive, a large cage is an investment, and plenty of play perches to spend out of cage time. Specialized veterinarian care is also required. Most of all they require your companionship and a forever home. Many people decide after the first few years of parrot ownership that the responsibility is too great and the parrots become neglected and sometimes abandoned. When that happens they are sent to parrot rescue facilities to be adopted by a new family or some spend their lives in sanctuaries. Psychic parrot sees the ghost of a dog friend
Einstein was happily chatting and whistling when all of a sudden, something got his attention and he looked upward. What did he see? Einstein had been talking a lot about Augie recently. Augie was a cute little Coton de Tulear dog who lived down the street and passed away several years ago. Could Einstein had seen a friendly ghost of Augie? Einstein exclaimed, "Oh my God!" as he continued looking up and saying Augie's name. Then Einstein said chicken and started making the chicken "bok" sound. The apparition must have disappeared, but it sure was spooky!

Parrot loves to eat corn, is extremely vocal about it
Einstein loves corn, but actually it is the word he uses in place of the word 'food'. He’s telling us to eat our corn as he makes a lip-smacking sound and demonstrates how to eat by placing an imaginary piece up to his beak! He is really enjoying the feast until the end when he states, “All done! No more!”

Friendly Parrot Tries To Engage Duck Statues In Conversation

Einstein politely asked his duck friends if they would like a grape. He gives them a friendly wave, then asked if they would prefer broccoli or sweet potato. He informs them that "It's good". Sadly, he gets no response, so Einstein offers water and again tells them it's good. He walks up and gently nudges one of the ducks with his foot. Einstein decides that maybe a little dancing and whistling would get thier attention. It didn't, so he walks over to them again and reassuringly tells them it's OK. Einstein continues to dance his heart out. Sadly, no response. After one last nudge and a little hug Einstein decides the ducks just aren't interested in what he has to offer.

Industrious parrot wants to help sweep the floor
Parrots constantly make a mess! Second only to pigs, parrots can make a mess quicker than you can say "get the broom"! Making a mess is what they were put on earth to do. Without their talent for messiness, the forest floor wouldn't re-seed itself as efficiently. Thanks goes to the birds for spreading all those seeds! Einstein has no forest to plant but he does his best to re-seed the kitchen floor every chance he gets! One day he decided that he was going to clean up a mess he had made. He goes into the pantry where the broom is kept and after admiring his reflection on the stainless steel garbage container, he proceeds to pull the broom out. His owner appreciates this gesture very much. However, Einstein decided to chew the rubber on the dust pan which really defeats the purpose of his intentions! Einstein, better let your owner do the cleaning and you can get back to making a mess!

Parrot Whistles Vintage Song From The 'Andy Griffith Show'
This is Einstein attempt and original rendition of the theme song from the The Andy Griffith Show. This show was a popular American situation comedy in the 1960's. It was about a small town sheriff and his family and friends living in Mayberry, North Carolina. The opening theme song for the show was a tune called "The Fishin' Hole". The words to the song were never sung, the tune was only whistled on the show. Einstein's owners whistle the song frequently and Einstein picked up on the happy sounding tune. He only belts out the first 8 or 9 notes and often they are out of sequence, but it's hilarious and you have to give him extra credit for trying!

Einstein the parrot performs awesome gymnastic moves
Einstein is practicing for the bird Olympics! Much like an athlete on uneven bars, Einstein the parrot is nibble on this tree perch. He announces himself and sounds a whistle. Proceeding to do a somersault onto a lower branch, he pulls himself back up. Walking to his next maneuver, he sneezes and rings a toy to signal his next move. Carefully he positions himself, rolls his body over, and grasps a lower branch with his beak, and successfully lands in an upright position before dismounting, aka flying down.

Einstein the Talking Texan Parrot loves to imitate different animals. Listen as he says the word chicken, then makes the funniest "Bok, bok!" sound. He also calls himself a funny chicken and a shake-chicken! Einstein, you are a funny chicken!

African Grey Parrot knows how to party
Einstein the Parrot is the perfect date to take to a party. Listen how he invites his date outside to join the fun. Then he makes sure she has plenty of corn and nuts to eat. He also remarks about how smart she is. Then the party is over and he says his good-byes with a sweet kiss!

Parrot plays game of "monkey see, monkey do"
Monkey See, Monkey Do is an imitation game children play. A child is chosen to be the monkey and everyone else has to imitate what the monkey does. Einstein the parrot decided he wanted to play the game with his stuffed animal that looks like him. His owner holds the stuffed animal and bounces it up and down. Einstein nods his head up and down. Then the owner shakes the stuffed toy back and forth. Einstein imitates the same movement with a cute little shake. He rubs beaks with the toy and accepts kisses on the head too. Einstein, you sure do know how to have a good time!

Mischievous Parrot Throws Toys On Floor And Then Hides
Einstein loves to play on the kitchen counter where the owners provide a basket of toys with items for him to chew and destroy. It's interesting to watch him as he uses his beak and his foot to manipulate the items. His favorite activity is to throw them on the floor. It is thought that he enjoys the sound they make when they hit the floor. Or, perhaps it's watching the owner come along and pick them up! Which ever it is, it must be great fun! Both of these kitchen drawers are dedicated to Einstein, as is the cabinet below. After making such a mess he scurries into the drawer and into the cabinet to hide! What a little sneak!

Talking parrot chats to the Elf on the Shelf
Einstein is certainly being nice to this elf! Giving him kisses, and offering him corn and sweet potatoes. Einstein dances for the elf waves at him and tells him it's alright. I bet this elf will give Santa a good report and Einstein will get a lot of presents for Christmas! The Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas tradition where a special scout is sent to your home from the North Pole to encourage kids, or parrots to behave themselves. The idea is that Santa's little helper watches by day, and night, then returns to the North Pole to report on whether the child (or parrot) has been naughty or nice.

Polite parrot says 'God Bless You' after owner sneezes
Have you ever wondered why we say “God Bless You” when someone sneezes? As it turns out, there are a few explanations about the origins of this kind and polite response.
One belief is that it is rooted in superstition. A sneeze was sometimes thought to be the body’s way of trying to rid itself of evil spirits. Saying “God bless you” was a way to try to provide protection and guard against the evil spirits leaving or inhabiting the body. It is also thought that during the Plague of Justinian from 541 AD - 542 AD, a pandemic spread across the Eastern Roman Empire. It’s said that Pope Gregory I decreed that anytime a person sneezed, someone nearby who heard the sneeze was to say, “God bless you,” while making the sign of the cross over their mouth as protection against the plague. Others believed that our hearts stop when we sneeze, so we say “God bless you,” as thanks to God, for surviving.
Einstein the parrot loves to perch on the water faucet and talk. As he was saying tickle, tickle, tickle his owner sneezed and Einstein appropriately replied, God Bless You! Then Einstein continued saying, "You're so pretty! Shake your butt! Peek-a-boo! Thank you Einstein, for being such a considerate and entertaining parrot!

Apologetic parrot is sorry for flying and being demanding
Einstein the parrot wants to go to the kitchen to get some lunch. He also wants to get dressed, does a cute whistle, and requests sweet po (an abbreviated word he uses for sweet potato). Then he imitates the sound of water before flying into the kitchen. Upon landing, he apologizes and says, "Sorry! Hi sweet, let's go!" Don't worry Einstein, your caretakers hear you and will be serving you soon!

Acrobatic parrot performs difficult alley-oop maneuver
Einstein likes to say the word alley-oop while performing a backward flip in the shower enclosure. Before the term “alley-oop” became a popular basketball term, it was a word which had origins in France after World War I and it means “up you go”. It was an exclamation of lifting something heavy!

Clever parrot invents song with unique instrument
Einstein is fascinated by this broken spoon and learned to use it as an instrument to make a favorite sound. He loves the ASMR-like tingle, jingle sound it makes on the counter. Holding it in his beak he quickly manipulates it with his tongue to create a jingle sound. The sound is similar to his favorite toy, a bell. It’s fun to watch him play with it in slow motion too. As they say, “What’s one man’s trash is a parrot’s treasure.”

They all require a lot of care, proper nutrition, training, time and patience. Parrots need a lot of attention and lots of toys and activities to keep from being bored. Parrots are also expensive, a large cage is an investment and plenty of play perches to spend their out of cage time. It is often said, "Having a parrot is much like raising a 2 or 3-year-old child for the rest of your life!"

Talking parrot counts votes for Speaker of the House
Einstein Parrot and his owner discuss the recent election for US Speaker of the House of Representatives. The last multiple-ballot Speaker of the House election took place in December 1923. U.S. Rep. Kevin McCarthy's multiple attempts to secure the House's top leadership position in early January 2023 was historic. When asked by his owner how many votes it took, Einstein began guessing. The number of votes it took was even surprising to Einstein. According to Einstein, everyone danced when the election was over.

Einstein the Parrot wants a cookie
Einstein wants a cookie! Watch as he holds and brings an imaginary treat up to his beak. He’ll then remark how good it is and when he’s all done, he’s ready to go to the computer and get back to work! (Cookies are high in sugar and should not be given to parrots on a regular basis. As a treat, his owners give him a very small amount, about the size of a fingernail. No chocolate! Chocolate is toxic for parrots!)

Einstein the Parrot claims it's all about him!
Einstein is a self-centric parrot! This doesn’t mean he is conceited or self-serving, he’s just self-absorbed in that he believes the world revolves around him. Who can blame him He’s so darn cute!

Parrot does double duty as both entertainer and supervisor
While his owner cleans house, Einstein the parrot provides some entertainment. He sings a special “Gotta Clean” song and “Who Let The Dogs Out” by the Baha Men. Einstein also imitates the act of cleaning by wiping his beak on the chair and making the sound of a towel against a surface. Amazing! Did you know E equaled MC squirrel? According to Einstein it does! Einstein turns any cleaning activity into fun when he supervises!
