Boasting in the Lord - Part 1 (II Cor. 11:10-28)
Second Corinthians Series (Part 16)
July 27, 2023
Paul wanted to avoid boasting about his credentials as an apostle—in ethnicity, in knowledge, and in passing difficult tests and experiences. Nevertheless, he had to disclose them, though speaking like a fool or a madman for doing so. We may not get close to the hardships that Paul went through for the sake of the Gospel, but we should be ready to face whatever difficulties we may encounter because we are called to serve Him and proclaim the name of the Lord whatever it takes.

Discern Good from Bad Leaders - Part 2 (II Cor. 11:9)
Second Corinthians Series (Part 15)
July 27, 2023
When Paul went to Corinth and planted a church there, he lived by working first and then by the funds provided by the churches he previously planted. He did not ask for a salary. When he left and planted more churches elsewhere, the Corinthians followed the pattern. They supported the ministry of Paul to the saints.

Discern Good from Bad Leaders (II Cor. 11:1-8)
Part 15, Second Corinthians Series
July 20, 2023
Wanting to prevent the Corinthians from being swayed again by the so-called “super-apostles,” Paul explains to them his job to prepare them pure for marriage to the Lord Jesus Christ. He commends them for now rejecting preachers who present another Jesus and share a different spirit. He warns them too of being deceived again as Eve was. Furthermore, he explained to them that he is a true apostle by his knowledge of the Lord Jesus, and not by the style of his delivery of the Gospel. He even sacrificed not receiving salary for them as an example of true servanthood.

Paul pleads before the Corinthians to open their hearts to him again as he tries to renew his relationship with them. Just as God, (offended) initiated reconciliation with all of us (his offenders), Paul was doing the same with the Corinthians. Jesus & The Temple
March 30, 2023
Did Jesus simply talk about his death and resurrection when he said he will destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, or was he also prophesying the destruction of the temple because he is the new temple of God for people?

Finding Love with God's Guidance
February 9, 2023
Jacob needed to find a wife and raise a family in his parents' distant old place. He needed to take that long journey of faith, trust God that he will succeed there, and come back to Canaan soon. Indeed, he got a wife, and another one whom he did not want. He had to deal with a deceiver, just like he was.

We may exist, breathe, and be busy with our pursuits in life; but unless we have the spiritual life that comes from the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, they are nothing. I encourage you to receive life from God, spend your lifetime knowing Him, following the Son, and obeying the lead of the Holy Spirit.

The Word Leads to the Truth
Second installment for the National Bible Month 2023 celebration
The Gospel of John testifies that Jesus is truth, the Spirit is truth, and God's Word is truth. Jesus was severely tested for that claim and He stood up for the truth that the Father sent Him. John also calls us to live and speak the truth as Jesus did.

Is God’s Purpose for Election an Injustice? A Review
A 2-minute clip taken from a sermon tries to explain why God's purpose on election is not unjust. Let's try to understand what Paul really meant in Romans 9:14, which was a complaint by the disbelieving Jews on Paul's thesis why they were not really children of the promise.
I have blurred the original video so that we can focus on the issue, not on the person who was preaching on the video.

The title of his message is The God of the Bible, based on the Book of Romans 9:14-33. I am focusing on the topic or issue, not on the preacher.
