herons and egrits: what bird do you see?
If you see a tall, long-necked bird stalking along a water, it’s probably a heron or an egret. But which one have you seen?

giant bats bang khla thailand
We visited Bang Khla in Chachoengsao province in Thailand. We slept in a hotel next to the Bang Pakong River. Next to the hotel is the Wat Pho Bang Khla, a temple where the trees are full of thousands of fruit bats during the day. The temple is also located on the river. The bats make a lot of noise and their droppings also smell sour

solutions for air polution southeast asia
The countries in Southeast Asia have had a air polution problem for years. In the hot season, most of Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos are covered in smoke. That smoke is caused by forest fires, slash-and-burn land clearing and the burning of agricultural land after harvest. In the past, there were years when the cross-border haze was particularly serious, such as in 1972, 1997 and 2015.
Industrial-scale slash-and-burn practices to clear land for agricultural purposes are a major cause of the haze, particularly for palm oil and pulpwood production in the region. Burning land occurs as it is cheaper and faster compared to cutting and clearing using excavators or other machinery. Fires started for this purpose sometimes spread and create forest fires, worsening the problem. The high concentration of peat in soil contributes to the haze's density and high sulphur content.
Fires in Indonesia (particularly Sumatra, and Borneo), and to a lesser extent in Malaysia and Thailand, have been identified as sources.
In this video I propose 8 solutions that can put an end to this disease-causing and economically crippling air pollution:
Content:
0:00 intro
Solution 1: enforcement laws
Solution 2: keep peat soil wet
Solutioin 3: edication small farmers
Solution 4: alarm system for fires
Solution 5: improving fire fighting
Solution 6: include local people in fire alarm and fighting
Solution 7: alternatives to burning
Solution 8: better garbage disposal system.

klimaat, agenda 2030 geschiedenis

bangkok vw 2024
On Saturday, February 3, 2024, Bangkok Volkswagen was organized for the second time. Weeks in advance, all Volkswagen owners were called to prepare their cars for this event. We arrived at the site just after 4 o'clock in the afternoon. We came in the 1972 Volkswagen variant from Remco.
here was a large turnout. Cars were coming in all evening. We estimate that about 500 cars came.
After looking at the cars on the festival grounds, we also visited the Srinakarin Train Night Market. There you can buy antiques and retro collectibles. and there are also many old cars.
