Astronauts accidentally lose a shield in space (GoPro 8K)
Hello Waa Sop community, I am Jona and now I bring you a very very, very incredible video, it is a fragment of the space walk (EVA #38) made in 2017 by NASA astronaut, Peggy Whitson and NASA astronaut, Shane Kimbrough outside the International Space Station. The interesting thing about this spacewalk is that Peggy Whitson accidentally dropped an anti-debris shield that turned into space debris (oh, the irony) all of this was documented by the GoPro action camera that Whitson carried.
Now, the interesting thing about this video is that I scaled this fragment at 8K resolution using neural networks with Artificial Intelligence 🤯
While the result is not perfect, there is a considerable improvement over the original, highly compressed 1080p version that can be downloaded from the NASA archives.
I hope this video blows your mind 😍 🌍

NASA’s SpaceX Crew-7 Flight Day 2 Highlights
NASA’s SpaceX Dragon Endurance spacecraft carrying NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Andreas Mogensen, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Satoshi Furukawa, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov autonomously docked to the space-facing port of the Harmony module of the International Space Station at 9:16 a.m. EDT on Aug. 27 following a launch the day before on the SpaceX Dragon Endurance spacecraft aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Following docking, the quartet opened the hatch and floated onboard the orbital outpost before providing welcoming remarks as their mission aboard the space station began. The four crew members will conduct a long-duration science mission living and working aboard the microgravity laboratory to advance scientific knowledge and demonstrate new technologies for future human and robotic exploration missions. Such research benefits people on Earth and lays the groundwork for future human exploration through the agency’s Artemis missions, which will send astronauts to the Moon to prepare for future expeditions to Mars.

NASA's Parker Solar Probe Touches The Sun For The First Time
For the first time in history, a spacecraft has touched the Sun. NASA’s Parker Solar Probe has now flown through the Sun’s upper atmosphere – the corona – and sampled particles and magnetic fields there.
The new milestone marks one major step for Parker Solar Probe and one giant leap for solar science. Just as landing on the Moon allowed scientists to understand how it was formed, touching the very stuff the Sun is made of will help scientists uncover critical information about our closest star and its influence on the solar system.

NASA Parker Solar Probe - Journey To The Sun
On Aug. 11th 2018, NASA launched the Parker Solar Probe, which will be the first-ever mission to "touch" the Sun.
The probe, about the size of a small car, will travel directly into the Sun's atmosphere, about 4 million miles from the surface.
The probe will slingshot around Venus, which will help it create a tighter orbit around the Sun, it’s first orbit around the sun will be at 15 million miles, it’s 21st orbit in 2024 will put it at 4 million miles from the sun, and travelling at around 430,000 Kph.
NASA’s Parker Solar Probe will study the Sun to help us better understand the corona, the solar wind and other solar activity that might impact life on Earth.
Thanks for watching.

Apollo Astronaut Breaks In Tears: "The Moon Is NOT What You Think!"
Apollo, Moon-landing project conducted by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration in the 1960s and ’70s. The Apollo program was announced in May 1961, but the choice among competing techniques for achieving a Moon landing and return was not resolved until considerable further study. In the method ultimately employed, a powerful launch vehicle (Saturn V rocket) placed a 50-ton spacecraft in a lunar trajectory. Several Saturn launch vehicles and accompanying spacecraft were built.

NASA | Massive Black Hole Shreds Passing Star
This artist’s rendering illustrates new findings about a star shredded by a black hole. When a star wanders too close to a black hole, intense tidal forces rip the star apart. In these events, called “tidal disruptions,” some of the stellar debris is flung outward at high speed while the rest falls toward the black hole. This causes a distinct X-ray flare that can last for a few years. NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory, Swift Gamma-ray Burst Explorer, and ESA/NASA’s XMM-Newton collected different pieces of this astronomical puzzle in a tidal disruption event called ASASSN-14li, which was found in an optical search by the All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae (ASAS-SN) in November 2014. The event occurred near a supermassive black hole estimated to weigh a few million times the mass of the sun in the center of PGC 043234, a galaxy that lies about 290 million light-years away. Astronomers hope to find more events like ASASSN-14li to test theoretical models about how black holes affect their environments.
During the tidal disruption event, filaments containing much of the star's mass fall toward the black hole. Eventually these gaseous filaments merge into a smooth, hot disk glowing brightly in X-rays. As the disk forms, its central region heats up tremendously, which drives a flow of material, called a wind, away from the disk.
