On one of my jobs in Georgia, I happened to notice this small sign off the side of the road. I kept telling myself that I needed to stop by there. It was hot. It was busy and I kept putting it off. On one of my last days there, I stopped in. What an amazing place! The church was quite a find and in this tour, I show you the inside as well as the outside and graveyard! On this day I took a tour of my a park built in my father's honor for his work with the neighborhood council to build a park for the kids in our neighborhood to play in. Listen to the story I talk about that led to the construction of this beautiful corner in Elmwood Park!

Established back in the mid 1800's, this cemetery boasts famous figures like authors, sports players, doctors...you get the picture! This place is absolutely enormous and covering it in one day would be an impossible task but we plan on going back there again very soon! There are some very old pioneer graves and a paupers' field in there somewhere but we've got to do some more 'digging' to find out exactly where they're located!

From a tiny, little sprig, my mother's Christmas cactus is well over thirty years old. I've created other plants from her and Nellie continues to spread her love across the state!

One of the many locations you'll be able to visit is the Cypress Swamp Loop in Port Royal in Beaufort, South Carolina! Watch the Ibis, blue heron and other species of birds fly around, all the while keeping a wary eye towards the water, looking for the American alligators that lurk in the water below!

There's lions! There's tigers! There's bears! Oh my! No, there's literally a thousand different species of almost every kind of mammal, reptile or marine life as you can imagine here! Come see the huge fish tank and marvel at the sharks and large fish to the tropical species, too! Snakes! Lizards! Alligators! Crocodiles! Gorillas! Everything you can imagine, just short of an alien, is here!

Located near downtown Columbia, South Carolina and part of the Riverbanks Zoo, the botanical garden is huge and as beautiful in the spring and summertime here in SC! Come visit one of the biggest zoos in the Southeast United States!

Made this with pallets and scrap plywood. We put our summer plants on it when it turns cold and it stays in the garage on cold nights. On nicer days well roll it out and water/feed the plants.
