Jehovah Jireh - Our Provider
Be honest, if you are as old as I am or even half my age, you know that God has saved your life or answered a big prayer request just in time when you needed Him to come through. Those moments are burned into your memory as markers you will never forget. Use those markers to remind you that if he did it before, he will do it again.

“The Incredible Joy of Living By Faith” from Genesis 21
Ever been tempted to tell God to "Hurry up" when you think He is late answering and fulfilling His promises? I admit, not speaking it out loud, but certainly feeling it. I bet you have too. The point is, Yahweh is never late. His timing is perfect. So are His plans. Was it His will for me to injure my knew big time coming out of a deer stand? Just like what happened to Job (only a million times less) there is always more than one entity at work and nothing passes through God's sovereign will without His approval. You can take that to the bank and all the way to Heaven!

11-5-2023 Aren't Patriarchs Supposed to Learn From Their Mistakes?
Ever had the thought that your failures have sidelined you from the purpose God has for your life? Don't think that way. In this passage of Genesis (chapter 20), Abraham sinned the second time (the first time was to Pharaoh) by offering his wife Sarah to a pagan king. Despite that huge failure and detour, God prevented anything from happening to the couple so that his covenant with them would be fulfilled. He does the same for us as well. That's good news.

10-22-2023 “Heaven’s Joy – Seeking and Saving Lost Souls, Part 4,
Was your father perfect? No? Neither was mine. But that is no excuse to shun the Heavenly Father. Perhaps you think he is like your earthly father and is possibly mean or distant or unloving. The story of Prodigal Son dispels that false idea. Here is an accurate picture of Yahweh from the lips of Yeshua (Jesus).

9-17-2023 Heaven's Joy- Seeking and Saving Lost Souls Part 1, from Luke 15
"You want to reach the lost for Christ? Well I want nothing to do with those people". So said a woman who obviously had negative feelings about people she knew did not know Christ. But is this God's attitude toward the lost? Hardly. It is His #1 Joy and ought to be ours as well.

“Heaven’s Joy – Seeking and Saving Lost Souls, Part 2” from Luke 15:1-8-24.
Is there really a hole in God's heart for lost souls that is filled when they are found? I believe there is indeed, which is the basis for his rejoicing before the angels. This sermon is about the woman who lost one coin out of 10 and once she found it she brought her girlfriends in to have a "lost coin is found" party.

“Shuffled to the Rear or Elevated to the Front, Your Choice” from Luke 14:7-14
Do you have your invitation to attend the Marriage Supper of the Lamb? It will be an extraordinary event where Jesus himself will serve the bride. No? Well the invitation has been sent out. However, the first step in accepting the invitation is to have the faith of a child which requires humility. Don't let pride get in the way of enjoying an eternity in heaven with the Master and the Father. In other words, don't be like the Pharisees in this story who were too proud to humble themselves before Christ.

“Not So Minnesota Nice in the Home of a Pharisee” from Luke 14:1-14 8-6-2023
Why would Jesus waste time and energy with a group of Pharisees who were intent on trapping him so as to discredit Him? And why would he have dinner with them knowing that most of them wanted him dead? He did it because just maybe, there might be one or two like Nicodemus who were truly searching. Do we know who in our circle is truly searching? Since we don't we must witness to all in hopes of reaching a few.

“Striving to Enter Through the Narrow Door” Part Two
Jesus calls us to strive (agonize) to enter the narrow door. That fight is all about self-denial, killing our pride, saying "No" to our wills and yes to His will. In warfare it is called unconditional surrender. In terms of entering the narrow door, it can be nothing less.

“Is America Worth Saving?”
The answer of course is a resounding "YES". It is worth saving because our godly foundation is worth saving (our constitution) and because so many gave their lives to purchase our freedoms. Hezekiah is an example of a king who felt his nation was worth saving and so he went about fighting evil and restoring righteousness, a task God has given each one of us.

Want Joy? Want Pleasure? Become a Disciple-Maker
Over 90 % of the people in evangelical churches have not shared their faith in the past year. How in the world can the church survive into the future if so very few are sharing their faith and making disciples. Jesus said, "If you love me you will keep my commandments." How about we start with this one?

“A Daddy Failure, Learning From Lot How Not to Raise Children” from Genesis 19.
It is amazing how pride keeps us in our own self-constructed prisons. here we find Lot living in a cave when he could have returned to Abraham for sustenance and shelter, but he didn't. Why? Pride. It affects all of us. Kill it now in your own life so you too, do not have to live in a cave of your own making.

God’s Precision Surgery to Eradicate Infectious Sexual Sin from Humanity
The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah was a precision strike by God to eradicate sexual perversion from humanity so that this deadly perversion would not contaminate the rest of humanity. Just like cancer in a human body, it is impossible to kill every cell and left unchecked it will spread, just as it has today, think LGBTQI+++ Pride month!

The Danger of Being Immersed in the World
God is humanity's best surgeon! What do I mean by that? Well when God excised wicked Sodom and Gomorrah from polluting humanity with its contagious homosexuality God saved humanity. Allowing that depraved lifestyle to spread would have been the end of humanity eventually. Just as a doctor must get cancer out of a human body so God had to extract the sinful cancer out of the body of humanity. We are so glad he did! What does that say about the future of America now? We are under God's judgment and his judgment is permanent.

God of the Impossible
If God can make a 90-year-old woman pregnant (long after menopause) and if God can part the water of the Red Sea, and if God can turn a few loaves and fish into a meal that can feed 15-20,000 people, I bet he can fulfill His promise to you to supply every need you have to accomplish his purposes for you. It is going to be very soon a time when we will need to belief that more than ever before.

Hurrying to Worship
Do we reverence God enough to be early for worship each Sunday? Are we sacrificial in our giving so that we have to say "No" to other things in our life in order to give to the King? I left the whole service in this upload but if you want to skip to the message you can find it around the 29 minute mark.
