Episode 1 how to fix Toyota clear coat with Rustoleum paint job Getting the hood into primer
There's something about the mid 2000's Toyota Clear Coat!!! Basically if you have a Toyota you know what I mean. In this video I'm repairing the clear coat peeling issue by using Rustoleum. This happens to be a "practice run" before I use the same process on our 1979 Ford F250 project we are restoring that we call #midnightmaroon
Follow along as I take this 2007 Toyota Corolla from a peeling clear coat finish to a shiny "new" looking custom mixed shade of maroon. We were hoping it would be a little darker maroon than it turned out, but that's why you test first!

No Rust 1966 Lincoln Continental Barn Find
1966 Continental No Rust Survivor Barn Find
This beauty is for sale. Garage stored from the day it was purchased in 1966, very little rust, a couple of small dings and dents that are typical with a vintage used car. Then there's the drivers side rear door. It was open and backed into about 9 years ago and it hasn't been registered since.
For details about the car you can email me and I'll make the introductions to the owner. My email - diyhomeandauto@gmail.com.
I"m not receiving any commission or finders fee for any introductions or the sale of the car! I was simply lucky enough to have a nephew who is looking to sell it for the family who owns it.
This car is in surprisingly good condition for it's age. It's not perfect and will need some attention before it's a reliable daily driver etc. But I was simply amazed at how little rust there is, even in the usual places you find it - wheel wells, door sills, hinges, trunk, etc. There is some pitting taking place on the rear bumper, but it's superfisial at this point and could easily be taken care of.
A little body work, a fresh coat of paint and some new shoes and this girl is ready for a night out! This isn't your typical "pig with lipstick" kind of car find! It's a must see! I only wish I was in the market myself! Make no mistake this is a HUGE car and will need a large storage space to accommodate! Ping me with any questions.
Once this car is sold I will modify this description. If you still see it mentioned as being for sale here, then it is. Hit me up!

Ep.1 - 1999 Ram 300,000 Mile Facelift - rust repair, LED license plate lights and NEW Taillights
My truck is about to cross the 300,000 milestone! Crazy! Original engine, but had to replace the transmission at about 184,000. She's still going strong and deserves some love and attention!
In this series of videos I'm giving the truck a facelift. Repairing and treating the rust on the lower half of the truck, replacing the fading and peeling Plastidip with Raptor Bed Liner. Replacing light fixtures and going with LEDs where possible.
