Is Wildcrafted Sea Moss Sustainable?
While traveling through Vietnam to see the emerging seaweed farming industry recently, I found that there was a combination of approaches to harvesting seaweed. I was specifically interested in learning more about farmed and wildcrafted sea moss techniques.
Although the seaweed farming industry is relatively new in Vietnam, there have been some strategies and techniques I observed that helped reduce crop impacts. These mainly were centered around fish and turtles eating the crops before harvesting.
Humane approaches to controlling access to seaweed through the use of blanketing to support the sea moss made it hard for large fish and turtles to get to the sea moss. This did little to stop smaller fish, or other challenges for farmers such as oyster eggs and mussel eggs attaching to the crop.
My firm belief is that as seaweed increases in popularity and becomes a more common food source for the wider population, wildcrafted sea moss or any other type of wildcrafted seaweed will not be sustainable.
More and more research is showing that seaweed can be used in more than just food. The future of bioplastics look interesting, and seaweed features prominently in this.
So we need to get this right before the demand for wildcrafted sea moss becomes something that ruins our oceans. We're really only just starting to explore this area of our planet more in modern times, and it would be such a shame to not learn from the mistakes of our past.
#responsiblefarming needs to be researched more to ensue we have a reliable food supply that doesn't impact negatively on our planet.

Black Salve Documentary (Including Black Salve Ingredients)
The topic of black salve can be heated one at the best of times in circles where people know what black salve is. This documentary (link to full version in the description below) covers interviews with a host of different people who claim to have used black salve, and it even goes so far as to disclose the black salve ingredients.
I have personally tried black salve on a number of suspect patches of skin and only on one occasion was there as reaction that caused something to be 'pulled out' of my body. It was only a small spot, but after treating it with sea moss gel you would never know that there was anything there.
The batch I was given was made with the same black salve ingredients that are disclosed in this video.
Please note that this is provided for information purposes only and is not intended to be an endorsement of black salve, or for the purposes of making your own black salve.
Understanding what goes into this product is important as it will help you further investigate the topic with a better basis of being informed.
Sometimes referred to as black sav or black sab, it is interesting to consider that this is deemed to be suitable for use on animals, but not humans. However, that seems to be the status quo in a society where cosmetics and other products are still tested on animals.

What is Wildcrafted Sea Moss, and is Wildcrafting Sustainable?
What is Wildcrafting, or wildcrafted foods? This is another word for 'foraging' which, on its own doesn't sound so bad. And I can appreciate that. But what happens when the wildcrafting is for commercial purposes, or more impactful still, on a commercial scale?
What are your thoughts about wildcrafting? Are you someone who chooses to forage for your food, and use it just for you?
What are your thoughts about wildcrafting for commercial gain? Is it right that anyone can go down to the beach and take what they want then to sell it without any thought to the impact?
Comment below and share your thoughts, beliefs, views, and opinions.
I believe that wildcrafting on a commercial scale has its impacts.
When it comes to buying sea moss online or in stores, I encourage you to find out more about the product you are buying. It's better that you know what you are contributing to with your purchase. Here are a few things to consider - https://detoxandcure.com/what-to-know-before-you-buy-sea-moss/

Dr. Ho Shixiu speaking on Cancer and Diabetes
Travelling though Yunnan, China in 2015 I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Ho Shixiu (affectionately known simply as "Dr. Ho"). During this time we spoke about a range of topics of interest to him. A brief recording of a then 92 year-old man with a cheerful and cheeky spark was all that I could capture at the time. Battery limitations meant I didn't get anything beyond this, which was a shame as my Wife and I spent almost another hour in the good Doctor's company.
Dr. Ho spoke about how certain approaches to treatment meant that they would be ineffective in his opinion.

Soaking Dry Sea Moss to make Sea Moss Gel
Have you ever wondered how much your dry sea moss expands when it is soaking? When does it absorb the most water? In this time lapse video I'll show you how our sea moss expands while it is soaking in alkaline water over 3 days. You'll notice that after the 24 hour mark the expansion does not increase much more. Soaking past this point may not give you the best results.
Please note: You should not let your Sea Moss soak for any longer than 48 hours in most cases. If you do it is likely to start to go bad and smell like it has turned. On average we will soak ours for a little over 24 hours. If you are in a warmer, more tropical part of the world, you may want to bring this back to 6 or 12 hours.
I prefer to allow my sea moss to soak, rather than cook it. That way it stays high vibrational. If you want to find out more about how I soak my sea moss, check out https://detoxandcure.com/how-to-make-sea-moss-gel/ and https://detoxandcure.com/preparing-sea-moss-for-the-best-results.
After soaking your sea moss, strain the water off and get ready to blend. If your water tastes too salty the use fresh filtered water for blending (adding salty water might not give you the type of gel you want).

How to Spot Fake Shilajit - Burn Test
You'll know when you have got a good source of Shilajit when you try the burn test. If the Shilajit lights up and burns like a candle, it's not the real deal. If it smolders and expands into a larger clump of ash, then you're on the right track.
This involved working with a naked flame, so don't try this at home kids. Parental supervision is necessary.
