Designer Wraps Official USA #designerwraps Designer Wraps 2017 Wrap Like A King Avery Global Contest Submission (and Regional Winner) With only two of these cars in United States, we knew it would make for a special project. The Norma's fully carbon fiber body made it challenging to wrap. The real carbon is beautiful so the owner and I wanted to leave some of the body exposed, then use it to accentuate the design. We teamed with Vinyl Madness on the Cosmic design, the end result is out of this world! The wrap is printed on Avery's Conform Chrome and Avery's V-8000 Series Reflective Sheeting, a few small portions include Avery's SWF Satin Black. With the V-8000 series NOT being a wrap film, we had to devise new techniques to make it work. In the end, we couldn't be more happy. We just finished up this BMW F30 car wrap for our friends at Kies Motorsports. Bryan at Kies picked an awesome color made by KPMF called Matte Iced Blue Titanium. Check out the video for a glimpse into Designer Wraps in-action! Side note: So I (Sean) mention in the beginning of the video that "we'll talk about this or that", but we decided to edit that out because I stuttered through most of it and it would have made an extra-long and boring video. The point I wanted to make was that, the front and rear bumpers were painted roughly with a very think layer of clear and we were worried that the vinyl wrap would not stick very well to it. In the end, we added a touch of adhesive promotor and a lot of post heat to the bumpers (along with trimming them in a way to have the least amount of failure) and we believe they will hold-up just fine.
