Never use conventional tape to repair torn pages. The tape always degrades and the adhesive always fails within a year. In the past I've used glue and thin paper to repair torn pages. As long as the repair materials are neutral pH and archival they will last a very long time. The advantage to this Filmoplast is that it's not only archival but you can continue with the repair project immediately and not have to wait a day for the glue/paste to set.

I got this dash cam in 2017 and it had problems from the start. The memory card was corrupted and I didn't find out until after a long road trip. The last file recorded was always corrupted because the camera had to be shut down before the ignition was turned off. The internal battery is dead, is not replaceable, and the proper date is not saved to the files. Now, the camera doesn't record. Only the still camera and the emergency recording works.

This was my second attempt at holster making. My first holster was for my cell phone. It wasn't pretty but it is functional. Video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksPeDROsJAQ&t=23s I had a problem with a gap between the holster body and the belt clip. I should have place a block under the Kydex to create a platform for the belt clip to rest upon. I did not forsee it. I was able to heat the belt clip and bend it, however the plastic for the clip is not Kydex and I'm not sure if the heat might have damaged it. I'll have to give it many holster and re-holster cycles to make sure it doesn't break.

I have a T-Mobile REVVL cell phone with a Beyond Cell holster. The holster kept breaking and I decided to make my own. This was my first attempt. I should have either used a larger sheet of Kydex or made a two piece sandwich style holster. I prefer the one piece design as it is more narrow than a two piece design. I got the Kydex too hot and it affected the finish on the holster. I was able to salvage it and am wearing it now.
