SUMMARY:
- The omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids in fish oil decrease the risk of developing heart disease. And that’s because these acids drop the level of triglycerides, which contribute to high blood pressure caused by plaque build-up in the arteries.
- Fish oil is sometimes even prescribed to children with attention disorders, like ADD or ADHD, to help them focus and think clearly!
- Fish oil doesn't just work on each organ, like your brain or heart, individually; it protects your whole entire system by improving your immunity. It’s all got to do with the polyunsaturated acids contained in omega-3.
- When you take fish oil regularly, your body starts to use the fat during long workouts, saving your glycogen stores for more difficult exercises. This process basically increases the time an athlete can do physical activity.
- Fish oil can be quite effective at relieving and preventing joint pain. Of course, it won't heal your arthritis completely, but it can stop your joint problems from getting worse.
- Fish oil is great for fighting depression! There’s even research out there suggesting that it can have a positive influence on people with schizophrenia and other mental illnesses.
- Additional sources of omega-3 acids can prevent eye problems. But don't think of it as a full-fledged cure; it's just one of the effective ways to keep your eyes healthy.
- Vitamins A and D will help you get rid of brittle hair and allow your body to better absorb other necessary minerals like calcium and phosphorus.
- Over time, we lose collagen due to aging and constant stress. Luckily, omega-3 acids store collagen, helping your skin stay young and fresh.
- Research conducted at the University of South Australia found that regular consumption of fish oil decreases the appetite and extends that “full” feeling you have in your stomach after eating.
- If you’re looking to increase your cup size, there are some other foods you can try too, like olive oil, dry beans, tofu, and seaweed, to name a few.
- Choose fish oil made from the meat and muscle of the fish; it'll be way more gentle on your system. As for consumption, the best way to go is to take a supplement while eating or right after.

The Power Of Words _ Jovanka Ciares
SUBSCRIBE: http://youtube.com/jovankaciares?sub_...
Do your words have power? Is there some truth to the claim some people make about the power of words? Most people have strong opinions about this and I was one of them.
But after watching a documentary about water, where a scientist (dr. Masaru Emoto) that explains how your words and even your thoughts (positive or negative) can affect molecules of water. I was curious, even fascinated. Then, a few months ago, I saw a Facebook post from Danielle Laporte about an experiment she did with her son. So I set out to recreate the exact same experiment on video and see for myself.
Here’s what my experiment looked like: I cut out 1 apple in half, sealed each half in an identical Mason jar and stored them in the exact window sill for approx. 25 days (22-28 days, can’t actually remember the exact amount).
Every day for a month I said negative and demeaning words to what I called the “bad apple”. Things like “you’re nasty, fat and ugly. You’re stupid and incapable. You can’t do anything right. Why do you even try! You suck and I hate you”
The other half, the “good apple” heard beautiful words of encouragement. I told her things like: “you are so smart, amazing, sweet and gentle. You are amazing and I am in awe of you, you are the best, I love you”.
The first 7-10 days not much was happening... but then things started to change.
Check out the video to learn the results.

The shocking truth about your health _ Lissa Rankin _ TEDxFiDiWomen
Lissa Rankin, MD is an OB/GYN physician, author, keynote speaker, consultant to health care visionaries, professional artist, and founder of the women's health and wellness community OwningPink.com. Discouraged by the broken, patriarchal health care system, she left her medical practice in 2007 only to realize that you can quit your job, but you can't quit your calling. This epiphany launched her on a journey of discovery that led her to become a leader in the field of mind/body medicine, which she blogs about at OwningPink.com and is writing about in her third book Mind Over Medicine: Scientific Proof You Can Heal Yourself (Hay House, 2013).
She teaches both patients and health care professionals how to make the body ripe for miracles by healing the mind and being healthy in all aspects of life, not just by promoting healthy behaviors like good nutrition, exercise, and adequate sleep, but by encouraging health and authenticity in relationships, work, creative expression, spirituality, sexuality, finances, and living environment. She is leading a revolution to feminize how health care is received and delivered by encouraging collaboration, fostering self-healing, reconnecting health care and spirituality, empowering patients to tap into the mind's power to heal the body, and encouraging women not to settle for being merely well, but to strive for living vital, joyful, authentic lives full of "mojo."
When not spreading the word, she chills out, paints, does yoga, and hikes in Marin County, CA with her husband and daughter.

What is Autogenic Training? Explained in 2 min
In this video, we will explore What is Autogenic Training.
To relax your body and calm your mind you can give a try to this simple, but effective strategy.
Autogenic training is a relaxation technique focusing on promoting feelings of calm and relaxation in your body to help reduce stress and anxieties.
Autogenic training works through a series of self-statements about heaviness and warmth in different parts of the body.
Here are the steps that you have to take in order to practice Autogenic Training.
First - Set up. Find a place where you can lie down or lean back in the chair. Remove glasses and loosen any tight closes.
Second - Breathing. Start with taking a few deep breaths. Then tell yourself, six times “I am completely calm.”
Third - Focus your attention on different body parts. You will focus on each body part to release tension and relax them.
Focus attention on your arms. Quietly and slowly repeat to yourself six times, ""My arms are very heavy."" Then quietly say to yourself, ""I am completely calm.""
Refocus attention on your arms. Quietly and slowly repeat to yourself six times, ""My arms are very warm."" Then quietly say to yourself, ""I am completely calm.""
You then follow the same pattern while you go through the rest of the body parts - Legs, Abdomen, Chest and Forehead.
And then you finish off by Quietly and slowly repeat to yourself six times, ""My heartbeat is calm and regular."" Then quietly say to yourself, ""I am completely calm.""
After you are done with this exercise you should feel calm and relaxed and ready to continue your day.
You can also practice this technique with guided audio. This can help you to stay away from distractions and focus on your breathing.
I hope that you enjoyed this video and I was able to give you a quick summary of what Autogenic Training is and how to practice it.

What Is Biofeedback_ Center for Brain Training's, Mike Cohen, Discusses Types of Biofeedback
http://www.CenterforBrainTraining.com
Mike Cohen, from the Center for Brain Training in Florida, describes what biofeedback is and the ways it can help people gain better control and a healthier central nervous system. A tremendous amount of research supports the benefits of biofeedback therapy for a variety of situation like migraines, headaches, anxiety, sports performance, and more.
A transcript of this video is provided below.
Video created and transcript provided by http://www.BusinessPromoVideo.com

Audio supplied by Mike Cohen of the Center for Brain Training
Hi. My name is Mike Cohen with the Center for Brain Training in Jupiter, Florida.
So what is biofeedback?
To understand biofeedback, you have to understand the basic principle that anything that can be measured can be changed. So if we think of measuring physiological parameters from the body, that might mean your heart rate. If I had a monitor and I was displaying what your heart rate was, and it was 70 beats per minute, could you, by simply watching that monitor, get yourself to change your heart rate to 68 or up to 72? Could you slow down or speed it up? Definitely so.
If you put a sensor on your fingertip, and it measured your temperature of your finger at 92.0 degrees, could you learn to increase the temperature to 93.0 degrees? Even a 4-year-old child can learn to do that. It is very simple to do.
You can change anything that can be measured. The most common types of biofeedback are breathing, being able to slow your breathing down, something called heart rate variability that measures a heart rate measure that combines both heart beat and breathing, there is muscle biofeedback which is called EMG. You are measuring the electrical activity of muscle firing around the neck and the head. This is often used for tension headaches and for migraines, and people can learn when they see the muscle activity and excessive muscle activity firing around their neck muscles and muscles around their head, they are able to reduce that activity.
So that is a type of biofeedback. Another type of biofeedback is brain biofeedback. If I can measure your EEG your brain waves can you change it? The answer is "yes".
So with all of these different types of biofeedback, and you could do it with blood pressure. If you had a real time monitor of your blood pressure, could you change it? Yes, and you might not be able to change it very much because you are not good at this task yet, but with all of these tasks, anything you can measure, you can change. That is biofeedback.
The process then is of giving that information and helping the individual learn to change those measures. And when you are measuring brainwave activity, there is a whole field of a particular kind of biofeedback called neurofeedback, and that neurofeedback is simply measuring brain activity and having that change. So any of these things that occur are biofeedback. Fundamentally, that is what it is.
People always go, "Well, how do I learn to change that."
There's a variety of mechanisms that come into play, but everybody can learn to change these things. It may take time and practice to learn to get really good at it, but as you gain control over that, you have greater control over your physiology and over your core, what we would call, central nervous system functioning. So all of these things, in terms of biofeedback, help impact your performance, the performance of your body, and your central nervous system's response to stress. Biofeedback is a very powerful tool for anyone who is willing to practice to learn to gain control and better regulation of those particular parameters.

What is Brainwashing? Explained in 2 min
In this video, we will explore What is Brainwashing.
Information that we consume is changing our beliefs and it has a huge influence on our thoughts and actions that we take.
Brainwashing is the concept that the human mind can be altered or controlled by certain psychological techniques.
The term Brainwashing is usually used with a negative intent for example when marketers try to sell their products they try to brainwash customers to make a purchasing decision.
If you look around then you will see that media is doing it all the time with pushing information that changes peoples perspective.
And we are all exposed to media more than ever before thanks to social media networks as well as smartphones.
In the past, people were looking for information whereas now the job is to sort through piles of available information and device what is true and what is not.
So the question is - how we can avoid being brainwashed and make decisions that are truly best for ourselves?
And it’s not so much to do with so magic strategies, but more with our general conditions that we can all work on and influence.
We are often most influenced by external forces when we are making decisions under certain circumstances. If you can avoid these then you will be less influenced by brainwashing attempts.
First - Sleep Debt. If you want be creative and think clearly then you should avoid accumulating sleep debt as that will lead to poor performance.
Second - Time pressure. Make sure you don’t put yourself in the position when you are under time pressure because that will lead to rush decisions.
Third - Low energy. If you are feeling low on energy then you shouldn’t make any decisions as those will not be a good one. That’s why I like to make decisions only in the first part of the day.
I hope that you enjoyed this video and I was able to give you a quick summary of what Brainwashing is and how to avoid it. _________________

What Is C-PTSD? (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)
Complex PTSD is different from PTSD. With PTSD, there’s typically one traumatic incident that an individual is dealing with; however, Complex PTSD is a diagnosis that occurs when a person experiences repeated episodes of trauma. The individual has experienced several traumatic incidents which may have happened over the years. Their symptoms can be more severe than someone who has PTSD. The reason for this is that their trauma is repeated and prolonged.
A person who has Complex PTSD may cope with childhood sexual abuse or repeated incidents of trauma where they begin to be distrusting of other people. People who have been raised in an unsafe household are likely to have Complex PTSD. When a parent harms a child, they grow up being fearful that they may be hurt again. Complex PTSD doesn’t necessarily have to be related to child abuse but can affect adults. Anyone who has experienced repeated trauma can have this diagnosis. If you have survived the repeated traumatic incidents, you could benefit from seeking mental health treatment. Consider seeing an online therapist so you can work through your pain.
If you or someone you know is dealing with a challenging situation and could benefit from additional support, consider talking to one of the 10,000 licensed online counselors at BetterHelp.

Which Type of Childhood Traumas Did You Experience?
Have you ever felt that your past experiences have negatively affected your current state of being? Your childhood plays a major role in shaping the person you become as you grow older. Adverse Childhood Experiences, or ACEs for short, are traumatic events that occur before the age of 18. If you experienced ACEs, you may suffer from poorer physical and mental health and emotional trauma. Watch this video and let us know how many types of these childhood traumas do you relate to! If you want to learn more about how childhood trauma affects us later in life, we've made a video on that too: https://youtu.be/N2oUfg7qNG0

The Power of Words are HUGE.
You will never speak bad words again after watching this! The Power of Words are HUGE
Words are not simply sounds caused by air passing through our larynx. Words have real power. God spoke the world into being by the power of His words (Hebrews 11:3), and we are in His image in part because of the power we have with words. Words do more than convey information. The power of our words can actually destroy one’s spirit, even stir up hatred and violence. They not only exacerbate wounds but inflict them directly. Of all the creatures on this planet, only man has the ability to communicate through the spoken word. The power to use words is a unique and powerful gift from God.
