Episode 294: How can I get rid of my sin? Part 1
Hello everyone. In tonights Bible study, we address the question "How can I get rid of my sin?"
What do you think I mean by that? Are you currently thinking about some act of bad behavior? Then you are not thinking about sin in the same manner that God describes it in the scriptures.
Acts of sins through behavior is the effect of the cause. Ok Kevin, then what is the cause?
The cause is your birth. What?! My birth?!
Yes, mind too. That is what God said in the scriptures. You and I were conceived in sin and brought forth out of the womb committing iniquity, trespasses, and sins.
How can we be certain that that is true? Well, first because God said it. Second, all one has to do is ask oneself a very simple question. Can I die? If the answer to that question is yes, then you can be certain that you are a sinner in the eyes of God who is holy.
Then how can I get rid of my sin? Does the scriptures give us the answer?
Yes, it does. Let's find out together.

Episode 293: Foundations: Revelation, Purpose, & Determined Part 2
Hello everyone and Happy 4th of July to those of you in the United States!
Today, I am taking a detour for the remainder of this week from our new birth series to teach some basic foundational truths. What truths Kevin?
The truths about what God is doing, why God is doing it, and what is God's purpose behind this life. We can sum these three things up into three categories:
1. God has purposed to reveal Himself to His creation
2. God has given His purpose for creation
3. God has determined to show this through a specific plan
If you can truly understand these three things then you have the true foundation in which to acquire a deep understanding of the scriptures. This will keep us from going into God's word on a scavenger hunt for things that will satisfy our needs here on this earth which will eventually be destroyed along with everything in it.
True life does not consist of things that can be acquired and possessed. True life is the person who is responsible for giving life, the Creator Christ Jesus the LORD of Glory.
John 1:4
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
John 3:36
He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
Luke 12:22-23
Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
1 John 5:10-13
He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony: THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US ETERNAL LIFE, AND THIS LIFE IS IN HIS SON! He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
Do you see it. Where is the life that God promise to give? It's only found in Jesus. If you want the life that God is offering then understand that you can't get it from a religion, from a "church", from a man or woman, from your pastor, from you parents or relative, nor from yourself.
The life God is offering is His Son as it is Jesus who has paid for your sins but only if you believe in Him. Everyone else will not see life but the wrath of God abiding upon them forever.
I know that this is not popular and is hated doctrine, it is true nonetheless.

Episode 291: A breakdown of John 3. Part 6
The Scriptures declares that the love of God is found only in one place?
Romans 8:38-39: For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. be able to separate us from the love of God which is IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.
Are you located in Christ?
Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we continue our glance into John 3 and the conversation between Nicodemus and Jesus.
Most people read John 3:16 and read into that particular scripture that God is looking to save everyone human in the world however that is not at all what that scripture is describing.
The study is not to declare that everyone is wrong and I am right as there are many Bible expositors that agree with the totality of scriptures as it describes "the world."
Hopefully, one can look at the scriptures and allow it to interpret itself rather than forming our own opinions. We must allow God to tell us exactly what He is saying in His word.

Episode 285: Why are sinners unwilling to come to God? Part 4
Why would anyone not want to go to heaven?
It's not that they don't want to go to heaven, they just don't want God, the Ruler of heaven, to be there.
Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we ask the question, "Why are sinners (this includes you and I) unwilling to come to God?"
Now before you blow a gasket because I said it include you and I, let me explain. You and I did not come to Christ because we self determined to come. That is not a biblical position to take. All believers come to God in the manner that the scriptures declare they come to God.
John 6:43-44
43 Jesus therefore answered and said to them, “Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 NO ONE CAN COME TO MEN UNLESS THE FATHER WHO SENT ME DRAWS HIM; and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:65
And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it HAS BEEN GRANTED TO HIM BY MY FATHER.”
Philippians 1:29
For TO YOU IT HAS BEEN GRANTED ON BEHALF OF CHRIST, NOT ONLY TO BELIEVE IN HIM, but also to suffer for His sake,
It doesn't matter if you don't understand that truth, it is still true. No one willingly comes to God on their own.
Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we continue with our series "What's wrong with everyone?"
We are now dealing with our stubbornness and hard heartedness against the gospel.
You may be saying, "not me." Well the scriptures takes a totally different position concerning your unwillingness than you do. Who's right?
Why are we so unwilling to come when God calls us with the gospel?

Episode 276: Why evangelize if God elects those who will believe? Part 2
Hello everyone. Tonight we take a break from our series "The New Birth" to address a question that is commonly asked. What is that question?
The question to which I am referring is this, "Kevin, if God sovereignly elects the people who will be saved, why evangelize? Wouldn't the elect simply come to Christ anyway?
The answer to the second question is simple, no they will not. The answer to the first question will explain why "no" is the answer to the second question.
God's sovereign election plan includes evangelism. 2 Cor. 5:16-21 commands every believer to be ambassadors by evangelizing using only the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Episode 274: Everyone was SOLD to the devil into the slavery of sin
Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we continue with our series "What's wrong with everyone?"
Do you know that the Bible teaches that everyone born into this world were SOLD into slavery? Yes, my friend, that is what the scriptures teach and that is not the worst part of being sold into slavery.
The worst part is to whom we were sold. The scriptures teach that Adam, the only man that God directly created out of nothing, sold all of humanity into the slavery of sin then sold us to the devil.
According to the scriptures everyone was born a child of the devil. You may be screaming right about now, "Who? Not me!!! I'm not a child of the devil.
Kevin you cannot call me a child of the devil! I didn't call you a child of the devil, God did.
Are you calling God a liar?
