How many times have people told us to “breathe” when we are dealing with intense stress? God breathed into Adam and created a living soul. The breath of God in us will create His amazing life-flow expressed through us.

No matter how dark our current circumstances may seem, they are temporary! God has promised that truth, justice, and righteousness will prevail, and He will be glorified over all.

We don’t have to be famous or highly decorated to be a hero. Everyone looks up to someone. Follow Jesus with such clarity, that those who look up to you will know which path to walk in as well as how to walk in it.

Not always easily seen or perceived, Divine Guidance comes in many different ways. May the Lord make us sensitive to His leading as we walk through the different avenues of our lives.

“Tis a gift to be simple, ‘tis a gift to be free,” according to the old song. How complex we make our lives! Jesus’ call to us is very simply, “Follow Me.” Simple, loving obedience will surely bring us into His freedom.

“Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how to respond to each person.” –Colossians 4:5

“Come to Me, all of you who are weary… and I will give you rest.” -Matthew 11:28. The Lord promises strength for the journey, and hope for the future. Allow Him to restore your soul by His Word.

While we think of justice as being harsh, the Lord reminds us of the heart of justice. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and JUST to forgive us…and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9) In God’s heart, justice is always partnered with mercy.

We live in an age of unprecedented knowledge, but many times, of limited understanding. We can ask the Holy Spirit for understanding, and He will certainly give it to us. “He will guide you into all truth.” -John 16:13

Abraham was strong in faith, giving glory to God. (Rom. 4:20) God will give us strength to persevere in difficulties, and will bless us with an attitude of tenacity. Don’t give up! He is always faithful.

Like Elijah on the mountain, we sometimes miss the miraculous, looking for the spectacular. Our MIRACLE may be in the still, small voice, standing right in front of us in the Person of Jesus Himself.

Remodeling is dirty, dusty, and disconcerting! But the completion of the process reveals a beautiful transformation. Lord, we yield to Your loving, remodeling will in our lives today.

Wisdom feels unattainable to many people. For the believers, however, God has said to simply ask and He will provide more than enough wisdom for every situation. That Wisdom is the Person of Jesus Himself.

Graham Cooke said he wouldn’t go to a conference on Patience even if he was the keynote speaker! Nevertheless, this precious Fruit of the Spirit is of great value to the heart of God.

The word “partner” is from the Latin, meaning “joint-heir.” God calls us as joint heirs with Jesus, to partner with Him in every aspect of our lives. -Romans 8:17

“Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” -Daniel 12:4 We certainly live in a time of increased activity and increased knowledge. It is the heart knowledge of God that sets us free, and leads us into His Presence.

“Then Joseph arose from his sleep and did what the angel of the Lord said.” -Matthew 1:24 We can be stuck in our old patterns that seem spiritual, but God calls us to take initiative, get up, and break forth into the new. Take initiative, and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

We don’t have to look far to find plenty of trouble all around us. But trouble does not have to be in us. Jesus will walk us through every troubling circumstance, and work all things for our good. “Do not let your heart be troubled.” -John 14:1

“Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power.” –Psalm 110:3

No one wants to lose, but the pathway to winning tends to have lots of roadblocks and detours. Jesus shows us what a real “win” looks like.

The word for salvation actually means to be well, healed, and made perfectly whole. Jesus brings salvation to every aspect of our being—spirit, soul, and body.

Unlimited sacrifice leads to unlimited love and full resurrection. We can decide to follow Jesus in His unlimited expression of God’s compassion.

“For I know Abraham…" -Genesis 18:19. God knew Abraham, and invited him into His council and deliberations. As we develop our relationship with the Lord, He invites us into deeper conversations with Him and gives us increasing insight into His ways.

A victim is one who has been harmed, hurt, or damaged in the course of life. The Lord calls us to not allow that victim “identity” to dictate our future.

The term resilient means to be able to recover quickly from difficult conditions, or to “bounce back.” Life is full of difficulties. God will always strengthen us to recover quickly and “bounce back”!
