Super excited about the new Archicad 27 and Enscape for Mac. Yes, it's finally here. I take a test drive of the new software and also discuss a few other items.

Today, I share the my views from the summit of Grandview Peak, a spectacular summit very close to downtown Salt Lake City that strangely is always devoid of people. Sharing my views includes my current thoughts on some concerns I have with mistaken views by many Americans and the war in Ukraine. The Republicans in the United States are increasingly saying things that show a lack of concern for the wants of the Ukrainian people.

By request, here is a methodology for calculating electrical loads in Archicad that is somewhat automated. Build this into your Archicad template and give yourself an edge. Please note, consult your local jurisdiction for proper calculation methods and I would also encourage reviewing this with your electrical engineer to ensure you are doing it right (I'm pretty sure I got mine wrong in this video, this is still a work in progress). Sorry for the poor video and audio quality. I'm used to doing the tutorials on my Mac and this was using OBS (I'm less familiar with the proper settings). Also, I should have used a better camera and reduced my monitor settings to 1080p instead of 4k to make things more visible to the viewer. The snow was so light and fluffy today. Skiing at Snowbird down Little Cloud lift line with knee deep powder so light, it blew in my face just about every turn. This video was recorded with an Insta360 camera mounted to my ski pole.

Unfortunately, the mount has lost some of its stickiness, so I had to stop a couple times to fix the camera. Fortunately, the backup straps held it enough to not lose it. The trail was Navarone in Honeycomb Canyon.
